Live Update: 22nd August 2008
Voice of India moves ahead to the second week of elimination. Wishing all the contestants all the best, I will go ahead with my update😃~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shaan enters the stage. wearing a nice casual dress. Today we have Paresh rawal as guest. He is the modern Mughale azam Akbar.😆 And now enters the Anarkali Mallika sherawat wearing nice decent dress.😛
She says she flirts with three people in the movie "Maan gaye mughal e ajam" but for the country. Paresh says home women of this country dont walk on her path 😆
Mallika will put the rings in finger of today's saleem for her
All guys are dressed as salim today.
1. Ravi shukla: (05)
He sings "Kaho na kaho"
Paresh said bahot maja aaya. Mallika says whenever three people flirted with me paresh had problems. he has changed now... they have some fun. there are no comments from judges.

2. Vinti Singh: (08)
She asks Pareshji to wear specs and say a dialogue from herapheri as she likes that character. He says he will say dialogue but wont wear specs, so shaan wears them but takes off immediately. Pareshji says bahot solid hain, yeh baburao ka style hain
She sings "Yeh kiski hain aahat"
Paresh rawal says behtarin. khubsoorat composition and lovely singing. Ismailji gets standing ovation for composition.
One of them is in last four

3. Saptaparna:
She sings "Pyar karna to darna kya" from old mughal -e ajam
Pareshji says I cant even judge acting, so i cant do it for music but the song appealed me.
Pareshji has to leave as he is not feeling well.
4. Rohit Sonar:
He sings "Jaane kya chaahe mann baawara"
Mallika said He sang really well aur uske dil mein halchul ho gayi
5. Vipul Mehta:
He sings "Parda hain parda"
He takes Mallika to stage. He is so short in front of her 😆.
One from this three performers is in Bottom four

Shikha has sung a song in movie for Monty Sharma. She was in last 24. Ryan has also sung a song for Monty Sharma.
Saptaparna is safe, Rohit is safe, Vipul is in last four
6. Shraddha Dass: (04)
She sings "Dil cheez kya hain aap meri jaan lijiye"
There are no comments from anyone
7. Rahul Mukherjee: (07)
He sings "Dil todke na jaa muh mod ke na jaa"
Mallika says Aapka gaana sunke mere dil me hulchul hui
8. Ritisha:
She sings "Tumhari adaaon pe mein vari vari"
Her voice has a lot of passion and dard.
Rahul is safe,

9. Ryan Diaz:
He sings "Mehbooba Mehbooba"
All mentors are on stage with mallika and ryan while ryan sings again.
Shaan says that there is one ryan step and we are trying to follow it unsuccessfully. So mentors dance on the music in some funny way.
10. Shayantani:
She sings "Salaam e Ishq meri jaan"
Shaan makes fun saying mera aalap nahi hua gajji😆 Shayantani had a fight last time for aalap. 😆 Shaan sings two lines.....
11. Zakir Hussain: (09)
He sings "Zindabaad Zindabaad ae Mahobbat Zindabad"
Mallika says she got the right person for the ring. It was very touching and emotional performance. So Zakir gets the ring from Mallika.
Spark of the week is Vipul
Zakir is Safe, Ryan is safe too, Shayantani is in last four.

Shayantani, Shraddha and Vinti had received 26, while vipul had received 27 from judges in last week.
Vipul is safe and through to final ten.
So we have three girls in bottom three. Vinti is in final 10.
Final verdict is Shraddha daas is out and Shayantani is through to the final ten.
Mentors are not happy with the decision. Ismail leaves the stage.
