There is not an iota of doubt that over the top drama sells on television. No wonder producer Rajan Shahi (Director's Kut) resorted to this age old tactic of getting a major character Nimrit played by Dimple Jhangiani killed in his Life OK show, Amrit Manthan.
The rising TRP numbers (1.5 TVR) of the show post Dimple's exit (now number two ranked soap on the channel) reiterates the above mentioned observation.
Our sources have whispered that apparently the creatives are so buoyed by this success that they might be planning a bigger twist by bringing back Nimrit back in the plot. Yes, you guys read it right.
When we called up Rajan he refused to comment on the issue. Dimple also maintained a silence on her possible return. However, Ankita Sharma who replaced Dimple said that, "she too have had heard that Dimple might come back but not as Nimrit but as someone else." She could not confirm the development though.
Well…something is surely cooking or else Rajan Shahi would have straight forward denied Nimrit's return in Amrit Manthan, rather he chose to maintain silence…which symbolizes lot of meaning. We also left a message to Life OK General Manager Ajit Thakur, but he also did not reply.
We will keep a track on the development. And if Dimple does come back in the show, it will surely be one helluva twist.
