show starts with amrit checking out all the jewels she has been given by malik. she tells everyone to put one aside for her friend who has yet to be named. their mother enters and nimrit too greets her.
at agams house, everyone is getting ready while agam is fixing his bike. tej comes to agam and questions him as to why he wants to take revenge on amrit. agam ignores the question saying he was drunk. agam refuses to believe him. he thinks he wants to talk to nimrit and decides to go to the mehndi function with his mom.
amrit tells nimrit she dislikes the smell of mehndi and doesnt feel like getting it done. then someone surprises her. amrit's best friend, parul, shows up. parul also greets nimrit saying some sweet words and amrit gets mad.
everyone arrives for the mendhi function. tej looks for nimrit as all the girls dance. as soon as he sees her she goes away from him and amrit notices.he finally gets a hold of her and she tells him that it is her sister's biggest day of her life and tells him to leave her alone.
amrit tells her bg that if she is recieving such gifts now imagine what she'll recieve after the wedding. bg tells amrit to stay focused on their goal and not so much what will happen after the wedding.
agam and malik arrive to the function. nimrit and her dad say some words and then another dance sequence with amrit's parents...
amrit then makes a speech about the next performance whom is very close to her... a friend and a sister... nimrit assumes it is her and walks up when amrit announces parul to perform. the show ends on nimrit crying.
