2.He is genuinely worried about the business and wants to handover the power to a responsible person ---Rohan. But he is still unaware about Rohan's real intention.

I hope he felt something fishy. and if he was worried then he could handle the business on his own as well. he could be a better ceo than rohan or amit. i don't know why he did that. for now we can only predict.
