Agree with you. And eventhough Boy himself is 90 kg, he would want perfect figure & fair features Girl. It's sad but fact. Very basic physical attraction rule for 95/100 cases to fall in love. According to me.. Arrange Marriages & Love Marriages both start on Looks then progress it to be more emotional.

For women sentiments and qualties come first followed by looks. So Amita's disappointment in Amit and her compromise to accept him is also very real.

absolutely right you are. 😊 A girl can let go of weight or look for that matter if Boy is caring.. good natured & respectful person. We are taught 'You have to compromise something' since childhood.

Unfortunately, as a girl, Amita will suffer more, because men tend to get away with their whims because she will go to his house, live with his family, and has to win him over.

Whereas for him it is as if he has made a sacrifice and he has done some ehsaan on her and he has to do nothing more.

@Bold -- That is most sad part. knowingly - unknowingly almost every other male has that Ego in them.. very hard for them to get rid of it.

More than Amita loving Amit despite his shortcomings, I am quite curious about how Amit fall in love with Amita despite the shortcomings in her appearance and her meeting his expectations of his ideal life partner.

And in all this I hope that the little child that Amita is, does not get lost...

Exactly.. I am also more interested in watching how Amit fall for Amita in spite of constant brainwashing by his Mom. 😉😆

and No, I don't want Amita to lost in winning everyone's heart. She can try but don't change herself completely.

eventhough I know I am not good looking or pefectly shaped.. I would always want someone to like me.. love me with how I am. I think a very basic expectation every other person has when they know they are not extra ordinory looking.😊

i think amit is not that bad, i think he is more of a confused guy. just like amita. he dreams and he doesn't want to compromise, why?? coz he is guy! a good looking, rich, and fit n slim.. according to him he is perfect..

but he should've learned or should be able to learn from her dream girl's rejection that there was obviously something missing in him that she had said no to him!

I think what amita's mum explained her when she made dahi for her, i wanted something similar for amit's case.. which happend, in a way his friend explained, but what he lacked in explaining or sanjay pointed out, but not entirely. that there was something missing in him too! he is no prince charming that he can get Deepika... and that needed to be heard for him before even he sent his parents to amita.. he only sent them cz he thought amita will change completely! I want amit's dad explaining him his flaws..or even amit's naniji, whoever is more close and can talk with the guy!

Anyways..i hope both can mix reality and fiction together and accept each other fully rather than feeling emberassed by each other!

i feel amit lacks the self confidence, (just like amita) his decisions are influenced and moreover reliable on his friends..but i hope after getting married he gets to see who real amita is.. and i think he saw her that way in Jigna's delivary episode and similarly amita saw him that way and got to know some real part of amit..
