I know we have mentioned how emotional and impulsive Prem is - but I still am a little blown away by his tears when apologizing to Teja after the ragging misunderstanding.
His emotions will definitely be his strength and his weakness throughout the span of this series - as long as he doesn't have some drastic character change - but I wonder how this effects his relationships with others.
Of all the characters, I believe Teja was moved by his tears as he apologized. She saw something almost pure and naive within them that juxtaposed to his rash nature is quite baffling. She was lost for words, as I'm sure we were too, as he joined his hands, tearly looking at her and then lowering his gaze.
If Teja can come to wield this aspect of Prem for good than I believe his cousins, Arjun (to a higher degree) and dumb dumbs (Vinay & Cousin #3) will try to use these emotions for bad. We've already seen it happen with Arjun's instigation. Although, considering how Vinay and Cousin #3 are lackeys and more easily manipulated in nature, I think Teja will be able to easily handle them.
Finally, the family. Somehow, I know last week they tried making Prem look like the beloved son amongst the four but I do not necessarily see that type of family interaction. All the members - husbands-wives, brothers, parents-children - seem kind of disattached. In fact, Prem's undying need to uphold his father's pride doesn't seem to because of a deep type of love, but this desire to prove something to his dad. There is some family bonding missing that would make the picture complete.
On a side note, what was the point of having Prem's intro as a dance number? I almost thought he was part of the dance team or something when the cousins came and turned off the stereo 😆
