Seriously speaking, Aabha the only places i know well in Delhi are the student joints.... would suggest you try the pasta at Big Chill in Khan Market.... thats good... for Indian food, you have to go to Chandni Chowk... its easily accessible by the Metro now... and the Parathewali Gali (which is actually just two shops) has yuuuuuuuuummmmmmmy Parathas.... also, if you eat non-vegetarain food, try Karim's.... mmmmm.... For South Indian food, the best place that i know of is this chain called Sarvanna Bhavan.... but go to the outlet near Nalli sarees (on CP) and not the one near Janpath, (the Janpath one is bad).
What else? I love old Delhi... love the ruins, old houses, the very air of the place.... but if you PM me specific things that you are looking for, could help. Dont know South Delhi all that well.
