STAR Plus loses share but continues to be No. 1

Week 21 saw no change in the rankings of general entertainment channels. STAR Plus continues to be at the top, with 24 per cent share of the overall Hindi general entertainment genre, despite losing marginally. From 337 GRPs, its ratings have dropped to 315.
Colors follows at No. 2 with 20 per cent relative share. The channel lost about 24 GRPs in Week 21. While Zee's GRPs have remained unchanged, its share has increased from 18 per cent to 19 per cent.
Sony remains at No. 4, garnering 158 GRPs. Its share has increased from 11 per cent in Week 20 to 12 per cent in Week 21. Imagine follows and has witnessed a rise in share, too. It has garnered an 8 per cent share in the latest week.
SAB's GRPs have gone up from 73 to 90 in Week 21. Its relative share stands at 7 per cent. STAR One and DD1 have garnered 3 per cent shares each, followed by Sahara One and STAR Utsav, which have garnered 2 per cent share each.
Pavitra Rishta on Zee is the most watched programme on Hindi GECs, garnering a TVR of 5.9. Uttaran on Colors comes second, recording a TVR of 5.1, followed by Pratigya on STAR Plus, which has garnered a TVR of 4.9.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Na Aana Is Des Laado are almost at par, garnering TVRs of 4.7 and 4.6 respectively.
The other shows in the Top 10 list include Bidayi and SAB Ki Laadli Bebo on STAR Plus, Dance India Dance Li'l Masters and Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee and Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors.
