Colors continues to dominate

The report for Week 48 for general entertainment channels (GECs) by TAM suggests no major changes in the order of channels. Colors continues its dominance of the GEC pie, amassing a share of 24 per cent. The channel has garnered 322 GRPs in Week 48.

Both STAR Plus and Zee TV are at No. 2 in the latest week, with relative shares of 19 per cent each. The GRPs garnered by the two are 253 and 251, respectively. Sony maintains a steady position at No. 4 with a 14 per cent share.

NDTV Imagine is at No. 5 with 8 per cent share, while SAB follows with 6 per cent share. Imagine has been losing share for the past few weeks. STAR One has managed to garner 4 per cent share and is at No. 7 in Week 48.

Sahara One and DD1 have fetched relative shares of 2.5 and 2.2 per cent respectively. STAR Utsav and 9X have managed to grab 1 per cent share each.

Both Uttaran and Balika Vadhu are the most watched programmes in the latest week, garnering a high TVR of 6.8. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Chhoti Bahu take the second and third spots, having garnered TVRs of 6.2 and 5.9 respectively.

Pavitra Rishta and Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo have fetched TVRs of 5.6 and 5.4 respectively. Na Aana Is Des Laado, Bairi Piya, Bidayi and Jhansi Ki Rani are the other top programmes in the list.

Really happy to see agle janam back at 6th place with a high trp, beating other shows😉. and also happy for CB, the show has done wonders for zee, despite being at 7:30. I think if it was at a main prime time slot, it would have been the number one show on telly.

I don think so😉If it wud been at prime time slot then its ratings wud hv been lower bcoz of huge competition neways m not happy for vivah part- 2 😉m happy for my PR And agle janam🤗Deserving shows mindblowing ratings😛agle janam ratings hv increased frm last week it has shown such an improvement m happy yaayyy😳

i would have agreed wiith you, but CB's trp are not okay okay trp's but they r veryy high, almost close to the top show, so i'm sure it would have had more audience than the current. omg it's vivah for one small track, it's not the main track of the show😆

but yea agle janam improved soo much, it's the #3 show in the 9-10 slot😉 and i'm sure this week it will be even more. good going agle janam.

CB wud hv never been at top position if it wud hv been telecasted at 9-10 pm slot this current ttrack is interesting but all previous tracks were boring still its rating was stable bcoz there was not much competition at 7:30 pm cmon if CB had to compete wid top shows like yeh rishta and biddai den it wud hv nvr ever done so well the story is so slow i some time sleep at the middle 😆m so so angry dat its getting gud trps but m happy for abhinash sachdev *ahem* *ahem* uske acting ke wajah se the show is at top rite now 😳😳 & i called it as vivah part - 2 bcoz this vivah track has helped the show to fetch a tvr of 5.9 aur koi track hota toh it wud hv never achieved this position😛😛kabhi kabhi cheating ke bahut fayde hote hain m so happiee dat agle janam has some orginality 😳

I also feel the same. CB is a brilliant show no douvt but the tracks so far haven't been interesting enough to compete with shows in the 9-10pm band. The 7.30 slot is hardly used by other channels so this is why CB is doing well there. I think if PR or Agle Janam were in the same slot at CB then the ratings would be higher for those two shows then for CB.

Regardless all Zee shows are doing well and I like the fact that Zee is dependent on fiction shows and not reality shows.
