Guys I haven't watched this serial much, but from what I have watched I know what the story is. ONe thing I fail to understand is why Shekhar can't have child with his own wife? Why is she not objecting infact promoting him going to Lali?

because Siddeshwari can't conceive and her mother-in-law emotionally blackmailed her and told her its for the family.. they need an heir (a grandson as they already have two granddaughters) and since she can't pregnant.. they have to get an heir someeehoww.. so that's where lali comes in..
