Positives:
- Raghav's comment: Mere dost ki biwi isse bhi badi jadugar hai. Woh uske ek mahine ki salary ek ghante main gayab kar deti hai. 🤣 This deserves applause. This deserves a positive # 1. This deserves to be at the top of anyone's list of jokes next time they watch a magic show. And it also deserves Trisha's expression!
- Damn I loved the opening. The way Raghav and Trisha were enjoying a magic show. I absolutely loved the glances, the low conversation, the laughter, and the expressions. They just happened to be at the scene and that's why they became part of the crime and the investigation.
- OMG! Inspector Dave is back! Darn after Adaalat I missed seeing Inspector Dave. Glad to see him back.
- Gauri gets a proper see off. Well done CVs. I didn't expect this, but well done.
- Raghav goes against orders. Nicely done. Finally the rebellious side to his character!
- The little bit of forensic investigation by Rajbir and Bikram. Nice!
- Trisha's personal side with her fight with her Mom.
- Hypnosis. Zareno's dad was in Adaalat as well. He was a criminal who used hypnosis as well.
- Raghav suspended and trapped by Zareno.
Negatives:
- That damn stupid Darr Sabko Lagta Hai tag. It covered people's faces! It was really, really annoying.
- The intro turned out to be too long. After a few minutes I started getting annoyed with both Zoreno and Dhanraj Singhania.
- Zareno as Raghav's friend. I would really have liked it to be strangers. Not a friend helping a friend. Not really a negative, but it's kind of a negative for me.
- Revealing the tricks. Was that really needed? Couldn't more time be spent on the investigation instead?
- Really? Making newspaper headlines so fast? Damn it's only been 4 hours! Do newspapers get printed every few hours suddenly?
- Lack of investigation. Damn it where it is the investigation?!! We're 25 minutes into the episode and still no investigation!
- All messed up and disjointed. I'm confused. This was supposed to be about Singhania's disappearance and murder right? Then why are we centred around magicians? And why is there so much personal stuff? And why nothing about Swati except that she's part of the team now. This is confusing.
I'm sorry, but this is confusing and a bit disappointing and there's still a second part...
Honestly when it started it looked really good and interesting. I couldn't wait for more. I wanted to see more. I was expecting something very detailed and great. But this looked more like a haphazard mess of several different shows. CID had a magician's case way back in 2004 or 2005 where the magician used hypnosis to commit murders. They stole from that. Adaalat had a case of a magician. They didn't just steal from that, they also brought in Inspector Dave and M whatever-his-name-is as well. I remember something similar in CSI Las Vegas. Like seriously they've screwed up and the only thing I really liked were the small one or two scenes in between a messed up episode.
This episode gets only a 1.5 from me out of 5. Maybe tomorrow's episode will turn out to be a bit better.
