Quick Question

Could someone help me with this...I thought I was following the story fairly well but then it seems the story went right and i went left.
Are there no conflict of interest laws in India? As a point of law here, police officers, judges, and government officials don't investigate or try cases that involve immediate family members, so how can the DC assign Krishna her father's case? I get that it's a test but isn't what he's doing unethical and illegal?
And how would he know if she hid or destroyed evidence and even if she doesn't how would he know that she didn't? It's an almost perfect Catch 22.
He's basically set her up to fail...

P.S.
The one thing that became very clear today is that "Mother's Guilt " is universal. I totally understood why Krishna didn't respond when Saraswarti and Ravi were taunting her. You can feel guilt even when you've done the right thing, because sometimes the "right" and "fair" means no one is happy.

I tatally agree with u, while watching the show I am completely lost and confuse.
Like I have been saying conflict of interest, crazy storyline.
If these writers get back on the track it was before, it will draw all of it's viewers back. There is too much going on in this track. Pick one track, keep to the storyline and resolve issue quickly don't draw it out and then move on to something new. Stay focus peeps That just my views.

What u r saying is only possible when For one post u have more then One person employed . But here krishna is a Single BDO who was given the charge for investigation of NGO's . And Just coz it's her Father She can't back out as She is BDO n it was not Krishna raj who is been given the charge but It is BDO krishna raj who is been given the charge . had there any other persons as well in post of BDO then She wouldn't been given thecase but Coz She is the only caretaker of whole block and She is been given the charge So it's her duty as BDO 2 do that . She is not doing anything illegal . it's all under instructions of DC and other higher officials .

this is what should have been done Shri bt for the sake of drama they arent doing right by the storyline and taking the basic integrity of the show away. a hint of bias whether for or against a person is injustice and the person who is handling the matter has to recluse himself immediately u can go to anyway in the world and i am sure this is basic principle of any legal system and i just dnt know what the ct of this show is trying to show ab the indian legal system by doing this. i dnt care whether this dc whats to prove krishna as incompetent by making her handle her fathers case but if he says she has abused her power so has he by doing this. and nyc post by the way and totally agree with your thoughts
