Are there no conflict of interest laws in India? As a point of law here, police officers, judges, and government officials don't investigate or try cases that involve immediate family members, so how can the DC assign Krishna her father's case? I get that it's a test but isn't what he's doing unethical and illegal?
And how would he know if she hid or destroyed evidence and even if she doesn't how would he know that she didn't? It's an almost perfect Catch 22.
He's basically set her up to fail...

The one thing that became very clear today is that "Mother's Guilt " is universal. I totally understood why Krishna didn't respond when Saraswarti and Ravi were taunting her. You can feel guilt even when you've done the right thing, because sometimes the "right" and "fair" means no one is happy.
