On a new note
It was strange to see TV actors Apoorva Agnihotri and Varun Badola exchanging musical notes at an event recently. Apparently, Varun and Apoorva are aspiring to turn singers.
It is learnt that Appu (as Apoorva is called), is leaving for New Zealand and Canada for a four-week vacation with wife and actor Shilpa Saklani where he plans to re-discover his potential for music.
Apoorva enthuses, "I have a natural flair for singing. I hope to cut my own album someday after training in the basics of classical music. As soon as I return to India, I will be taking part in a musical reality show—not as an anchor but as a singer contestant."
Meanwhile Varun, Badola who has been appreciated for his classical vocals in 'Ek Chabi Hai Padoss Mein' (Star Plus) where he plays a music teacher, also intends to record an album with actor-singer wife Rajeshwari Sachdeva. Varun says, "I have learnt singing from my father who is also not a trained singer.I am planning to launch a pop album, which will have songs sung by Rajeshwari and me. After acting and dancing, I guess singing is destination next."
