Badi Rani is like any other woman and cares primarily for her family and son's well-being. I did not see anything wrong in her actions yesterday either.
Manu and her family's job is to be the protectors for the royal family. Manu died performing her duty. Very unfortunate but how does that make Badi Rani selfish? I would say that even Badi Amma would not ask Badi Rani to use the Nagmani once she got over the initial shock.

I know what I am saying sounds very harsh. But it is Manu's role/job to protect the Yuvraj and she did that. She is like a bodyguard.
Nagmani carries its own burden. Like Choti rani points out that taking it out could transfer risk, ill-luck to someone else in the family. How can Badi Rani risk someone in her own family to save someone whose job is protect the family?

If Manu was Yuvraaj's girlfirend or potential bride, it would be different.

no its not her role/job to protect him why should she?
just cos her elder generation promised so?
she should live her life and not become bodyguard to save someone else
even when that family is killing their daughters one by one while the raj family wont use the nagmani to save one of them thinking about their own family then why isnt badi amma thinking about her family then?

In a show with kings, nags, nagmani, and everything supernatural, there is no such thing as own life. Everyone is bound by traditions and curses.

For me it is an alternate universe or another planet, where 21st century and icchadhari nagins can co-exist.
If I thought of it as the real 21st century, I would be unable to watch it. 😆
