How did you bag this ad with Ronit Roy? Even before this ad, I did an Income Tax ad with my husband Ram. For that one too, we got a lot of appreciation from the fans. I got many offers for endorsements and I chose to do an Airtel film but due to some reasons, the film didn't happen. Six months later, the Airtel ad team called me again and asked for an audition for this new ad. I got selected and was happy to be part of this advertisement. |
After Kyunki, how is working with Ronit Roy? Oh, he is wonderful and very professional in his work. It's always nice to work with Ronit as he is a very good friend of my husband Ram. I feel comfortable working with him. |
What compliments have you received from your fans for this ad? Everyone has really liked me in the ad and all my fans and friends keep asking one question -when are you coming back on television? Everyone has told me that I look very beautiful even after two babies.

What is your fitness mantra? I do regular exercises mainly aerobics and dancing as I have done a short course in contemporary dancing. My dancing teacher Gregary Hancock used to come home to teach me dancing. It was a two week dancing session which I really enjoyed. I do follow a normal balance diet. Besides, I feel more than a fitness routine, staying happy in life is more important. I believe that if you are happy from within then your body feels happy and healthy too. |
You are so beautiful and elegant. How do you maintain that quality? Thanks for the compliment! Frankly speaking, I don't use any heavy make-up or cosmetics for a glowing face. I believe in natural therapies such as drinking lots of water, applying besan paste, haldi with malai, which is very good for a healthy skin. I also use many other ayurvedic remedies which keep my skin and hair healthy. |
When are you returning to the world of serials? I am getting a lot of television offers but nowadays, all the television shows are either shot in Nalasopara or Mira Road, which is very far for me as I stay in Neapean Sea Road. Travelling from this part of town to the other end of Mumbai, would take four hours or more daily and that's too much. The first question I ask any producer who meets me is about the location of sets. I am looking for something suitable.

Have you got any film offers? Not yet. Let's see. I am open to every kind of cinema. What has motherhood taught you? Firstly, to be very patient and it comes naturally too. Once you become a mom, your priorities change automatically. The rest handling your child comes from experience. |
What is the best trait of your children? My daughter Sia, who will turn 5 this year, is a very obedient girl. I am not saying this because she is my daughter but it's true. She is sensible, responsible and co-operative. While my son Aks, who is two years old, is very naughty like every baby boy. He is a big bully too. But both my babies can't leave each other alone and get along really well.
