A good episode today.
Meenakshi looked amazing! I think DC's reaction was totally like that of a artist toward his creation. He was so charming when he praised Roshni...how hot is Apoorva?! 😳
I think Alan koh to kuch kuch hua zaroor tha...😆 Can I just say HOW much I love him? He is sooo wonderful! btw...the actor who plays Alan...why is he so familiar?
Sameer: Really glad he decided to stay and kudos to Angad for advising him in such a gentle and unselfish way. Angad is another really good bloke. Glad to see him telling Akshat to shut up...most of the time Angad is so busy looking after his little brother, he has no time for anyone else, let alone himself. Akshat is clearly an unstable personality. He's weak and therefore capable of bullying Sameer...but he does have some goodness in him. I hope the show makes him stronger, less dependent on his brother, more able to see what his brother has been doing for him and finally capable of letting his brother go so that Angad can also realize his dreams...(while we're on Angad-Akshat, I felt that Angad was happy about being paired with Roshni simply to get her away from Akshat...what do you think? He can't really like her, can he? I confess I skipped through that portion).
Oh back to Sameer. Poor poor boy. I really feel terrible for him. His dad is such a big bully. He's bullied at home, in school, now at the academy...I really hope this show helps him gain confidence. I am totally rooting for him! I love that he and Meenakshi are there for each other. The weakest members of the show.
As for the first episode...i love the fact that we get to see the show within the show, plus the fictional audience...this is great!
The reactions of the cast is going to be interesting...because if the audience takes against the bullies...they will feel it...actually they wlll see how they have behaved and how they have been portrayed for the first time. Will this change their behavior to Meenakshi?
There was an interesting case on one of the longest running realty shows on American tv recently where one of the participants was behaving very rudely to the others. The tabloid press just went to town on her...printed all sorts of mean reactions from the audience...she even started receiving violent threats! So the bully on tv got bullied in real life! Wonder if they'll show something like that here? Like Karishma or her mom being the target of hate/ridicule, or Karishma herself being targeted when she goes out etc...btw the actress playing Karishma (recognize her from Mahi Way) is doing a fab job as the bully. 👏 I'm not sure she's as good a dancer as some of the others...but she's doing her role really well.
