Its morning, Aditya is ready & having his breakfast. Vidya asks him why so early which he replies saying he needs to earn lot of money that too quickly, that's why. Abhi enters & asks her mother why she didn't wake him up for school. Vidya replies as it was holiday for Bhaiduz. On asking she delineates the essence of the festival & how brothers assure their sisters to save them from all difficulties & misfortunes. Abhi says he didn't utter such words for her sister & desires to go to Antara to do so by dragging her mother's hand.
Family is ready to celebrate bhaiduj. Abhi promise promises Antara to save her from all troubles lifelong. Antara performs aarti on her brother with assistance from her mother. Abhi asks what to do next & Vidya says its time for him to gift something in return. Abhi brings the FD paper & asks his father to bring money against it so that Antara can be cured. His parents are bemused at the simplicity & intellects of their son. Aditya feels helpless when Vidya pulls the FD paper from Abhi & says his father will never take money from this. Abhi politely says he is not giving it to his father, rather to Antara. Aditya smiles a bit at his sons intelligence, hugs him, kisses him & says he has saved this money for him & it is his responsibility to ensure Antara's treatment & he will soon earn lots of money for the same.
A Laundryman rings the bell & Aditya attends. He says he was called for get his payment. Aditya is surprised & asks him to return back as still days left for completion of the month. Vidya comes with money, pays & says she will summon him when she will require. Upon asking by Aditya who will do the job now, Vidya replies she will as it isn't a difficult task to press three-four clothes daily.
Mrs. Gupta knocks the door of her flat but nobody opens. She shouts & yells "Billu"-yet no responses. Finally Billu responds saying that he won't open the door as it is Bhaiduj & he can't take the risk of opening the door as some girl may turn him her brother. Mrs. Gupta screams "so what" which Billu replies saying she won't understand as she has already grown older.
Vidya is in kitchen when Aditya enters says he knows why she is doing so, despite putting every effort to keep her out she somehow finds new chore & ask her to take little more rest as he doesn't want her to work more & more. Vidya replies that she will rest when she will require. The couple share a smile filled with gratification. Aditya goes & Vidya looks at the calendar & something strikes her mind with days date i.e. 19th October. She tries to recollect when Abhi enters & says he is hungry. Seeing her mother lost in thought he asks what is she thinking which replied by Vidya that she is thinking about the date when something happened which she can't recall. Then she ties a Knot in her pallu & upon inquiry by Abhi she says she is tying the knot as it is understood that it helps in retrieving the lost thought & she will unknot when she will remember back.
Abhi comes to Billo's house & finds it is being locked from inside & Mrs. Gupta yelling to open the door. Abhi says he will get the door open and asks Biloo why he is so frightened as he claims he doesn't fear anybody. Biloo replies that he dreads only two things i.e. Rakhi & Bhaiduj, as some girl may make him her brother & he knows Abhi is there at the door with Antara to do the same. Abhi replies negatively & upon coaxing by both Abhi & Mrs. Gupta, Biloo finally opens the door. Abhi laughs & Mrs. Gupta teases Biloo by pulling his ear.
Vidya brings Antara to the clinic which she surprisingly finds unilluminated. The light comes in Vikram wishes Antara Birth Day & helps her cutting the cake. Vidya joins the celebration & feeds Antara. She asks Vikram how could he know its Antara's Birth Day & he replies that he knew it from Antara's document & in fact he knows & celebrates birthdays off all kids under his supervision. Vidya apologizes Antara with guilt on her eyes. Vikram comforts her by saying that she needn't feel guilty as she hasn't been rearing Antara since birth & she also didn't come when she was admitted for treatment & therapy. Vidya says that they are ready to continue the special therapy Vikram was asking for & will let him know in day or two. Mother & daughter then leave.
Just outside the clinic Vidya thinks she need to inform Aditya regarding the birth day calls her but couldn't reach her husband. She is finally at her tuition & hesitantly asks for some advance which was turned down as it was too early to ask for the same.
Precap: Abhi asks her mother how she could forget Antara's Birthday when she never forgets his. Vidya apologizes to Antara.
