Abhi and his sweet innocent questions about mothers. Adit says that nurturing is more important than just giving birth. Vidya mulls over his words and smiles. Abhi asks about Sri Krishna……who loved him more and Vidya explains that both the mothers loved him equally. He asks Vidya if she would be Antara's mother since her mother lives far away in the stars. (Out of the mouths of babes come out such gems……….) Vidya is perplexed. How should she answer? She looks at Adit who has nothing to add. The camera zooms in on all four. Antara gets up and makes her way to the balcony. Adit tries to call her back and asks her to finish her dinner. But she goes and points to the stars and says, "Ma …..Antara" repeatedly. Vidya goes to the balcony too. She notices a bright star in the dark sky. She looks at Antara while she is chanting. "Ma ……Antara" She strokes her head. Then Adit and Abhi also get up. Why is Antara so earnestly calling her mother?
Next morning, Adit, Vidya, Abhi and Antara are leaving for the day. Abhi wants to know where the scooter is. Adit smiles wanly and says that he gave it away. My heart throb wants to know why and Vidya distracts him. Adit says they'd go by auto. Meanwhile Billo and his mom have walked up. She gives dirty haughty looks to the Vermas and leaves. No auto is willing to stop. Mrs G unlocks her new car and Billo asks her to take the Vermas as well. She tells him to shut up. He says but ….they used to drop him everyday. That ingrate says "so what?"…..Grrrrrrr. He looks at Antara and waves. Abhi waves Goodbye to him. Wish Billo could teach his mother some manners. She turns the key and snidely says, "Now we know who God blesses. People uprade from scooter to car but it's the reverse for some." (Someone please disinfect her foul mouth. ) Abhi wants to know whether they'd be buying a car now that they don't have a scooter. Adit assures him, "Yes". They cross the road and hail an auto. Adit tells them to carry on. He is trying to save money. He requests Vidya to pick Angel up from the clinic. She agrees. That blabbermouth can't the car. (Serves that croc right). Vidya's auto leaves. Mrs G and Billo remain back in their khatara.
Sameer is getting ready for work. His mother insists that he have breakfast but he prefers to go without it. His mother thinks he is becoming too thin. His father comes in and soon the topic of the impending marriage comes up. Sameer again tells them that Adit will make the arrangements according to his pocket since he is facing problems.
On reaching office, he greets Adit who says he is happy the way Vidya is bonding with Antara. He tells him how Vidya fed her yesterday and has become soft with him too. Sameer's quiet and Adit notices it. Adit wants to know what the matter is. Sameer says he doesn't like the way his father makes demands. Adit tells him once the loan comes through it will be ok. Adit is gung-ho because Vidya is with him. Sameer says only Vidya could be like that. He tells Sameer to stop worrying. Sameer hugs him.
At the clinic a lady is telling the teacher how the father of her autistic child has shirked his responsibilities. Antara comes in with Adit and she goes to her favourite spot. The teacher gives Adit an Id card for Antara which he needs to fill so that she doesn't get lost. He gets a call to sell his products and rushes there. The card remains unmade. Adit goes to a home where a kitty party in on and all the ladies are interested. He sells quite a bit. He leaves.
