What is Roshan's motive for spreading virus?

Usually terrorists have a strong motive for causing large scale destruction,.

But, I am not too clear on what is Roshan's motive. Money? Greed? or something else that I missed.

Way I look at it, Roshan seems to be releasing virus, just for kicks -- just to settle some personal scores.

If his motive to destroy the city to take badla for Haroon, then it is not too convincing a reason.

He 'thinks' Shivani knows something about him and Anita, so wants her killed.

That is the height of impulsive behavior.

To be fair, Jai is not the only one who is without a plan A and Plan B.

Roshan, doesn't have it either 😊

Terrorists usually plan to the last detail. Roshan has to be most impulsive terrorist I have ever seen.

Logic would be to have a systematic plan in place and then execute it with cold-blooded precision. That is how terrorists operate and get one up over the cops.

But, Roshan is the exact opposite.

He feels like killing his wife, he does. He feels like taking to his daughter, he talks. He feels like killing the drug dealer, he kills. He feels like killing Balraj, he kills.

He feels like doing something, he does. Uski mazi. 😊

If Jai's characterization is bad, I feel, Roshan's is worse.

Just because Roshan seems to be getting a better deal in his cat-and-mouse game with ATU, it appears like he is playing a better game. But, look closely and you will notice, ki uske pass bhi koyi bada plan nahin hai. He is just going from situation A to B, as things unfold.

Guy who cruelly killed the inspector in his solitary cell, who was about to be hanged the next day, suddenly comes up and within a span of few hours, becomes a polished criminal striking deals, left, right and center, without any psychological trauma or anything, and we are supposed to believe it!

Like, seriously???!!!😊

I know this is fiction, but the suspension of disbelief the writers of this story are expecting from the audience is illogical and immature, to say the least...

Agree with your post, specially the bold part. It looked very thrilling and believable till the Roshan escape part, but after that they are somehow loosing the plot. I understand that it is bound to happen, because the script has to be very tight, but the loopholes could have been given a thought.

Sharda I am chatting with writter now and I told her ATU comes across as helpless and this what she replied:
ruchika roy @roysrus

@_NaseemUnnisa_ @humeraansari2 @Haasini25 @AshishVid ATU helpless? Not! There's a reason why #RoshanSherchan is #Rathod's biggest nemesis!

Agree with ur post dear...
After roshan escape with virus and haroon dead, all going haywire..
Nothing happening so gripping and sensible...here and there so many loopholes..

For sure, the writers culd hv handled the plot a little better considering the beginning epis...bcoz those were frm the same writers...

S , neither atu nor roshan acts for real what a actual person in their place wuld do..
Just going on with the flow, mking decisions now and then...which has its own negative side effects...

😲😲😲...Hmmm...
I agree totally..
How jai knows roshan so well that he was sure about everything like vaidehi being roshan s daughter and that he never met or saw her...

There s some deep connection between these two..
Its yet to be revealed I guess. ..
Roshan s background never shown except he being terrorist..

But again an terrorist has no other intention except to spread terror and kill the innocent lives...
So will be fine wid me..even if they dont..
He is terrorist. ..and this word is complete phrase in itself..

Thanks for sharing the details, dear. Glad to know writers think ATU is not helpless. Too bad, but, that is how it is appearing to us viewers.

If Roshan is Jai's biggest nemesis, then he should have been in jail awaiting his hanging, not left out by way of a secret operation.

ATU knew about virus and had more than 6 months to plan for winning Haroon's trust, etc. They should have thought of a better plan.. this is my opinion, of course..

There is a chance that Roshan, who's been a lot more effective and outright lethal than Yakub Saeed's group and the LTFE, is actually an ex-military/intelligence agent gone completely rogue. All of what he has set up is most likely what he's learnt when he was with the organisation earlier.

He may also be a former partner of Jai in some mission (Trishul, referenced in Season 1?) who was presumed dead and abandoned by his country's leadership, and doing all of this (as well as previous terrorist activities) for revenge. Either he himself is that operative, or he's working for someone else who's capable enough (twist ending in Season 1).

Now, this would be a good twist, if they show it. Roshan is actually a rogue ATU agent??!!! That sounds like an interesting possibility. That is why he knows all the moves, and is able to think ahead, beating ATU at their own game.

Let's see...
