Why axe KB, why not fix it?

I don't understand the logic (or lack there of) of makers of indian serials... when ratings go down and storylines don't connect w/ viewers any longer, why not fix the darn show instead of plain old canceling it abruptly?? here in the u.s., we have soaps that last for 30 yrs plus!! obviously there are times when the stories in these shows get crazy and stupid and ppl hate the shows, ratings go down, but then they change the track, bring in new characters, get rid of some characters, change the scenery, change the writers, change promos, etc.... they basically give the show another chance, esp. b/c there are loyal fans who they feel an obligation toward... i don't understand y they need to cancel kb??!! and when american shows get canceled, they get time to neatly tie up the storyline and give a proper good-bye that's satisfactory to the viewers, they don't just axe it abruptly w/ loose ends being ridiculously tied up...

as much as i started losing interest in KB and its stories, i still wanted to stick w/ it for Simi-Abhi and i still watched every night. i didnt want to give up on them as a loyal fan w/ hopes that the show would improve.

needless to say, i'm sad and disappointed in the cancelation decision 😭 i don't want to watch a new saas-bahu serial, i want to see a romantic couple like simbi...

Part of the problem is the Indian audience who do not demand or expect better. We have a very complacent audience that readily accepts what is presented before them. Excuses are made on a regular basis. There is also a fear of going against the norm. Many letters were sent to the writers but they were ignored. I even received an insulting from one from them along with a comment by one of the actors of the show who later denied it. The same writer also trashed Indian shows on her Facebook wall - so what do you expect when the writers do not have much respect of Indian television itself...

For some of us even the jodi of Simi and Abhi could not keep any interest going...and as for this not being a saas-bahu serial? It followed pretty close with that concept - it was a saas-damaad one 😆 At this point the show has lost its charm and NOTHING can save it. It's too late.

there is only one possible way to save the show... fire entire existing CV dept....hih....hire completely new talented bunch... i dont mind even kekta...thn the show KB has at least 50% chance of succeeding...

KB has been on life support Simbhi got married. The ship has been sinking for a long time. The original writers are gone so the connection with the audience is gone too. I'll miss the show but lately it has been downright boring.

They are not ready ti fix the show As Sudhir Sharma, is not interested to continue with this show. He has gained enough of money, and is not interested for more.😡

Totally agree with you.The DVs made this show beyond repair.Nothing left which can save KB.😡
