Smriti's performance

Yesterday's episode, Smriti had a wide range of emotions.

Her helplessness to give a direct answer to Vishal, apology to him, tension when Abhi is not picking up the phone but still forcing a smile and managing to blame the coverage problem, disappointment and anger for Abhi not turning up with Mili, her fear in answering her mom rather than worrying the turn of events, slow loss of temper when her mother is questioning her and a firm and quick answer mixed with irritation that she does not know what happened, seeing her mother in tension, the way she is quickly covering up that there might be some reason and that she would definitely talk to Abhi.

Her emotions changed when she asks her mom what if Mili did not attend the dinner, and slow acceptance when her mom says that either she must be having blind faith in Abhi or does not want to face facts, her expression revealed the exact turmoil in her mind that yes she is not willing to face facts.

To boost her mom's ego and to clear out facts, she has the stern accusatory expression at Abhi but when she sees Abhi's reaction to her accusation, she is analysing him, but seeing Abhi's eyes getting moist, she is also in tears.

The confused, insecure, fearful, irritated and worrisome thoughts were beautifully portrayed.
