Just kidding!😆 No, I never come up with that idea - it's way to daft. Although I did suggest multiple times that they needed to have another girl in the picture to whip Simi into shape - such as getting make over or at least getting rid of the ridiculous braid. Did she even have the braid on her suhaag raat? It would be highly believe considering Abhi had his clothes on as well as his belt! Regardless of how well Mr. NB did that scene, you cannot help but get distracted by that dreadful faux pas on the part of the director.

By the way, what do you propose will happen once Mr.iT accepts Simi? Once that happens show is over. Unless you have other ideas...

I agree with Ulakmini, don't want it to go on another track including no other female competition. First, I hope Poppa Tarneja comes round and accepts Simi. After that, Abhi's freinds have to meet her and they will all have an opinion and they willl have to face that and how that gets resolved. After all, married couples do socialize but will it be with his freinds who are younger and perhaps more accepting or with her freinds who are married with kids and husbands lot older than Abhi (not likely they will be able to socialize but they can show this) . Then Simi's College colleagues and also Abhi's work colleagues will have opinions and resolution or confrontation there. Even Tarnejas family freinds will have questions on why Abhi married an older woman and it will be nice to see the elegant Anusha and Poppa Tarneja defending their DIL. There is tons of content still untapped on their story! And lastly when they run out of everything else, there's always a scene when Abhi undoes her braid 👏 !

But in truth, after having had my own skits and stories shredded and having observed what is high drama on these shows, the take on what you are doing while useful, THIS (the masala I wrote) is the stuff that appeals to the audience. Look at the rape track - it went over 2.0 on the TRP ratings and the show has not done that even when they showed the SR night scene.

Believe me, if the track is done right and Abhi's eyes drift to another woman, we will see that braid go before you can blink. Let us see something interesting on the show with Simi getting decked out to grab Abhi's attention - and ours. Lately she's being looking washed and worn out. Even the lock of hair that falls across her face is missing. All her ronakh has gone.

O that braid is my pebble in the shoe. I swear if I got a pair of scissors the first thing I am going to do is go for that braid.

And pray, WHY should I imagine that Abhi undid that braid on his suhaag raat or even assume that he did. THAT is for the CVs to show. Goodness, they even had her hair braided when it was wet! You would ahve thought she would have had bundled up in a towel if they didn't want to show it down...

If you watch the show in the beginning and the two talked about the braid over the phone, we could have had a wonderful scene (and I was waiting for it) prior to the declaration of love, where Simi undoes that braid and Abhi is mesmoriezed. I mean look at all the posts that ooh and aah when they see Smirti Kalra all done up with her hair curled or let down... we are in awe so I am sure Abhi would have been too. It would have at least added to something that would have given us a reason to believe why Abhi fell for Simi.

And I'm happy to see that the Ginzu knives you all spoke of have been put back in the kitchen and only a pair of scissors is out !

I do hope they ( writers) don't get confused and read your story and think we want this. After all, your storyline was really well laid out ! And hard for me to make out if you were facetious or not! Then they'll give us the same old same old gissa peeta garbage that everyone already can predict. This MASALA gives me allergies!!! And for God's sake, why get her pregnant, that's so old and trite and melodramatic. They should have a discussion on the timing of a baby. After all, he is 22 and the last thing he ( and I ) would want at this stage is another weight around his neck. He is still working at making her life happier and hasn't succeeded at that yet, I don't know why. I would certainly be deliriously happy if Abhi did all that for me!!!I But Simi Tarneja can and should try to be alluring to Abhi in case in a future scene maybe they can set it up to show that when he gets busy with work and taking care of Poppa T, she isn't getting the attention from him she is used to and dresses up, loose tresses and all and he can pretend to not be interested but happy inside, and play coy and then....maybe a first kiss shown?? Dare we hope?

If instead they do your MASALA storyline ( and you do have a talent for laying traps with that storyline) but if they go that route, I'm out of here. That's too painful and worse, horrifyingly SILLY and INSULTING to our intelligence. CVs( BTW, NO ONE is telling me what "CV" stands for, can someone please advise here!!) if you are reading any of this, PLEASE DONT GO THERE.

The ratings went up ??? How can that be? The quality of the show went down for us the loyal viewers subjected to seeing a woman who has a voice subjected to assault and violence to silence her. Who wanted to see this- maybe those seeking thrills tuned in? I can't imagine that they are regular viewers or will be loyal to this serial?
