Mendhi Application

OK, so how does this Mendhi rasam work? Two people show up with Mendhi at the same time? Won't it look obvious? My bet is that Nukul will get their first and when he is about to apply it Simi will go "Nahain, Abhi's se meri shaadi hochaki" or something like that.

Mehendi is sent from the boys side. No one from boys side turns up for it i think. The elders and neighbourhood women usually apply mehendi for the girl.

I will tell you how it will be -
1. Abhi doesn't have his jeep. He needs to find rickshaw or a taxi. So I guess Abhi will def end up late, unless Omi messes up with their car's tyre or they are caught in traffic or if they live farther away than T residence from 12/24KB.
2. For all fairness, we will not start the mehani ceremony till Abhi reaches. How can we have the contest where all the participants are not present.
3. So, once both the prospective grooms are at the Sethi Nivas, they will be asked to stand with the mehndi-thaali in their hands outside the threshold of the house.
4. Manjuji with a whistle in her mouth will ask them to Get-Set and blows-whistle and says Go !!
5. Both will start running and ...and .. and ....
You have to wait till the 17th Feb, the mahaepisode day to know the results !!! 😆

I wonder if we shoud wager bets? I wonder if it won't look odd with both Abhi and Nukul showing up at the same time? And so what if Abhi gets to apply the Mendhi first? He already did his roka with her and they took 7 pheres in front of Matarani. Still that was not enough for Simi. What does he think that if he shows up before Nukul that she will agree to be with him? Nope, the best is for him not to show up and see what Simi will do. Will she really go through with the wedding with Nukul or will it be more than what she can handle?

Yup, I liked that highlighted part, for atleast once, let the creatives show Simi chasing Abhi instead of the other way around all the time 😡

I think tomorrow's episode Simi is in her night gown !! and maybe Abhi will hide somewhere and next day morning before she gets up he will apply mehendi and go away !!!

Looks like they have given him a spine !! He will tomorrow do somthing and make sure simi will not wear anyone else's mehendi !!!
