Throughout the entire show we've seen Simi quiet, shy, reserved, lacking in confidence, struggling to speak up. Then, on the day when the one she is supposed to love comes to her house to ask for her hand in marriage, she humiliates him. If Simi was that bold, then why does she chose to show this side of herself so selectively? When everyone else berates and demans her, why doesn't she speak up and say something. She's definately got a tongue in her mouth. She just prefers to use it on the one person who has been the nicest to her.
When Abhi made the comment about he mark on his pants not being removed; I hope his symbolic comment really means he is not willing to give forgive Simi for this horrible degradation. It was truly revolting. When Abhi asked her if you don't love me, she should have just said "no," why didn't she just add one more lie (or probably truth) to her whole performance? At least then he'd go away forever and she'd never have to think about it again. Does she seriously think he's going to want to propose to her after all the family problems are solved?
Simi says she doesn't lie, but didn't she lie when she agreed to marry Rajeev Bhala against her own wishes? She lied to her whole family as well. Did not Simi lie to her own mother about the pregnancy kit, the reason they were late coming back from the mandir to meet Nukul, and when she took Neetu for an abortion? Is she not lying (or deceiving) Nukul by marrying him when she's supposed to be "in love" with Abhi?
I pray and hope the creative team takes this character through some real suffering after what she did to Abhi. Moreover, I hope Abhi gets his just desserts. I hope he gets some hot looking babe, is very happy with her and Simi suffers some real agony. Women like Simi really deserve slime buckets like Rajeev Bhala.
Hope she has to get married to Nukul and lives her life in misery and with it finds that her family problems are never solved. Women like this deserve this kind of outcome in life. More so when they screw over someone who really loves them and will be there for them.
