One of the aspects in this show that stunned me was Mr. Tarneja's inability to comprehend that his daugther and son had stolen money from their father-in-law. It is quite amazing that people do things in life without any ability to take take responsiblity for their actions and when confronted actually believe they are in the right.
Of course, such people are of no class we can all agree. We can beat that subject to death and they will never improve in character. đŸ„±đŸ˜‰
Going back to Mr. Tarneja, I am fascinated as to why he never questioned the reason behind RS' decision to ask Anuj and Anita to leave his house. Are the creatives completely amiss that the audience cannot see what is going on here and there is a huge gapping hole in the storyline??

It is a silent exchange in early Anita lied about why she is more beautiful with her parents, such as RS said he had a daughter so he should not think like that, and he has 3 and they l 'loved everybody, but Anita's father should not talk like that. I disliked the episode today but not at all

Yes, I notice what Anita's father said. I don't think he sees his own daughter as a libability but RS' and especially as it is these daughters that make life apparently harder for his daughter.
Selfishness at its best.

No, its nothing like that (atleast from what I understand).
Mr. T was unaware that his daughter and SIL had done something like that ... there was no time for him to even understand the gravity of the situation bcos he was in argument with Mr. RS about something else ... (obviously Anita hasn't told the truth about why they were kicked out of the house in the middle of the night).
Even after he understands what the reason was , I don't think the man that Mr. T is, would be bothered .. he is a business man with no emotions ... so he wouldn't care if his SIL stole a Rs. 1L ( a peanut amount for him!) from his father... I wonder what he would do if it is his son that did that job (but Abhi wud never do such a thing is totally diff).
And as they say - people of one clan will flock together .. scratching each others back till the purpose is served... so, for Mr. T, Anuj is not his problem , but to win the argument with RS, he will side with Anuj even if he knows that he is wrong.

It is also blinded by the happiness of his daughter that RS is Simi loves him but unlike the father of Anita he lets her daughter make the decision which pleases (although it is always the contrary it would like to do) Anita and his family except Abhi (I know the mother) but are simply selfish motivations are no Anita I think it's pathetic.

Bee, I think this is a big weakness in the plot - we as viewers are lead to assume that Anita and Anuj have not been honest with Mr. Tarneja. I can imagine Anita has probably told him that RS sent away the items but did she and Anuj really leave out the information about the FD. Or, did they say the father falsely accused them of taking it?? Of course Mr. T. does appear to be a very insensitive and arrogant man (it's hard to believe he is the father of Abhi who is so generous), but the to me his knowing of the whole situation needs to be brought to light as well as his reaction regarding Anuj taking the 1 lakh, but that now or in the future.
Just a big weakness in the plot to me.

That way you are right that the writer hasn't tightened the loose ends .. they just leave it for the viewer to interpret however they want ...
The appliances were returned might be a known fact to the T parents,
but today when RS explains what Anuj had done, it looked as if Mr. T is hearing that 1st time.
Both Anuj and Anita might not have explained what really happened and the T parents aren't interested in knowing the details .. they are busy people , for them all that is of matter is - that their daughter and SIL are kicked out by the insensitive Sethis in the middle of the night.

some of my comments:
One of the aspects in this show that stunned me was Mr. Tarneja's inability to comprehend that his daugther and son had stolen money from their father-in-law (this would mean that Anuj has stolen money from papa Taneja).
It is quite amazing that people do things in life without any ability to take take responsiblity for their actions and when confronted actually believe they are in the right (uh, when did papa Taneja confront his daugther and sinlaw?).
Of course, such people are of no class we can all agree. We can beat that subject to death (it's usually belabor a point or beat a horse to death) and they will never improve in character. [Sleepy alignabsMiddle] [Wink alignabsMiddle]
