Hello, KBians.

As the new track mellows in, KB fans are getting upset and excited. Anita ruining the parivaar, SimBhi love, Neetu pregnant, etc. And don't forget Mili's slap!!

So do you think the show will get better soon, or is it already better? Aapko Kya Lagta Hai?

It's gettin' better! It had just better! Anita on the warpath . . . Abhi on the warpath . . . Bhalla in retaliation mode . . . we haven't even seen what the denizens of T(an)eja Mahal have to contribute (Abhi excepted) to the impending melee . . .

No original spice; just stale and burnt and overdone masala formula used here. What's new? Same old, same old.

So be ready for a thrill ride from mondya to thursday.

It is after all the same story told down the ages Laila. Its about a microcosm of our society where these two families live within the norms of their strata of society and what happens when their paths collide and rules get rewritten. Now considering that the characters involved are human (yeah some barely fall into this category......... no Dipa im NOT categorizing them as animals either) wont they display the same set of emotions?? In the context of Indian TV, the treatment is certainly different, neither unique nor stale ghisa pita. True I have been bemoaning the dearth of abhi-simi scenes, but thats the romantic part of me. Given the stuff going on in their families, wudnt it b absolutely ridiculous for them to go cootchie cooing when everything around them is in meltdown mode??

IMO its coming together, Anitas dialog today of making life hell for them is a precursor to the hungama thats going to erupt.

I must admit, the storyline right now is soooo boring and I can't even bother to see all the drama...All I see is people crying and more crying... I can't imagine even Milli is crying =.= I thought she's the kind who could stand up for herself and teach that Anita a lesson... 'Sigh I really wanna kill the current writer .. What's going on ?? <.<
But well, every soap opera can get boring once in awhile.. And I really mean any.. So I think KB is just going through its bad days ... Hope they get back on track quickly tho... =/

The abrupt change in characters of Simi, Abhi and Anita was too much for me to comprehend. The story changed over night; no time was spent on character development of giving us rhyme or reason for any of these behaviors. Anita's total change has no rationale. Her need to steal money; her comment that RS bank money was now her money. Where did all this come from?

O, she is going to make life hell, but for her own brother as well? That's too much. I don't understand how she can feel justified with her actions unless she is someone without a conscience. But the quesiton is she was shown to be someone who had one so where did it go and why?

The writers wanted to bring in some drama and I am fine with that decision but give us some substance or explantion. I call this sheer and utter laziness.

no Dipa im NOT categorizing them as animals either
But m'dear, I'm not in the least perturbed . . . we, are part of the animal not plant kingdom (although now, systematics are a bit diff/finer) so it's factually correct to label us thus . . . other animals are not 'inferior' (psychologically or physiologically - in this latter case, we share helluva lot in common with others on the tree of life, of which we are but a branch/leaf, not the apex of some fictional triangle) . . . comparing such qualities is like comparing apples and oranges . . .
But well, every soap opera can get boring once in awhile.. And I really mean any.. So I think KB is just going through its bad days ... Hope they get back on track quickly tho...
I actually have thought of the most recent 2 as ones that got my sluggish blood moving . . .

I believe I now have sufficient cause to declare myself as not having my head stuck in the 'sand of angrejji movie-land' . . . Belle m'dear, KB is not a BBC production (where each thing I see outdoes its predecessors) . . . I believe our expectations need honing . . . if you're not buying my theory of a brain lesion causing Anita to transmogrify - and I know that's largely nonsensical because such things are for the most part, progressive not immediate, then could you consider my ET proposition instead? 😊 It isn't just her change that is incomprehensible - temporally - there are tons of other inconsistencies as well . . . and yet, in very uncharacteristic fashion, I am exercising restraint in pronouncing the whole thing a mess . . . at a minimum, we have our Abhi to drool over (to the point of dehydration 😆 )
