A major flaw with Abhi's accident is that it cannot happen in this fashion. If Abhi was wearing his seatbelt (and we have always seen him wearing it), the force of the impact would have thrown him forward and then back. However, he would have never hit the steering wheel nor would he have ended up slumped down on the steering wheel itself. He would have had serious whip lash or neck/back injuries.

At the end scene Abhi does not appear to be wearing his seatbelt otherwise he would never be able to sit in the position he was sitting (leaning over the steering wheel).

I agree with you you are more likely to hit your chest on the wheel I know this from experience rather than your head and you get chest injury hitting steering wheel hard as well as whiplash.

When you are rear ended you are more likely to escape head injury but not nec, anyways all the accident shown in indian serial shows head injury.

Also Abhi had stopped and started back so it is possible he forgot to wear seat belt back as he was sleepless. Also if he was speeding and could not control his car it is possible to hit head. depends upon how fast he was going and how hard he hit the tree.
