Why? well, lemme tell u, I'm in my mid-30's and still single...............that means:

-according to Indians and Pakistanis, I have passed the age of marriege.......in fact who will marry me now..I wouldnt even get a RISTAH from a widower/divorcess...forget about single man.....puhhhhhh-lez

and now that I have started watching dramas like Karol Bagh and Paviter Rishat, I have decided that I should KILL MYSELF!! cuz how old is SIMI in Karol Bagh?? 27-30 I beleive and even Archu in Pavitar Rishat is also around same 27 I think ...dont know..........and it has been said a NO.OF TIMES in Karol Bagh and Pavitar Ristah that if SIMI/Archu(who is married now thu) dont get married NOW(25-30) then they wont ever get married....not only that we saw some gal( a friend of Archu's I beleive) getting married with a man(double her age with a kid too) in Pavitar Ristah just cuz the gal was 27 or so.......so MUJHAY TU MAAR JANA CHAHYA NA?? ( I should die right?) cuz this is what the directors/producers/writers are trying to say................huh??

Lemme ask you:

-Are we living in 2009 or are we living in 1950's?? cuz Karol Bagh seems be made according to 1950's .......seriously........I thought age wasnt THE ISSUE in INDIA specially.......cuz I hear many many indian BRAGGING that 'WE DONT CARE ABOUT GAL's AGE its only in Pakistan" then why its shown opposite in dramas?

-Is SIMI the first gal who is fat?? first of all, she is NOT FAT...she is a very pretty gal, with a lil weight which DOES NOT MAKE HER FAT .............so WHY ARE WE MAKING THIS AN ISSUE?? Im sure if someone says this in AMERICA...women will kill that person cuz AVERAGE women in america are size 16.........and SIMI maybe size 6-8(medium or large) NOT XXL...............is she fatter then SARASWATI in BETIYAAN?? NO, right? Sarasti in Betiyaan is fatter then her if we compare................

-I was watching this episode in which some woman(cant remember her name) telling SIMI's mom that she will help her find a nice gal for her son, handsome guys for the younger daughters cuz she doesnt want them to PASS marriege age like SIMI.................DUH??? she is between 25-30.......thats OLD?? ifs that OLD then I should commit suicide really........................if we our writers/directors/producers thinking is like someone living in 1950's and NOT 2009 then.........plzz..gals who are my age...COMMIT SUICIDE!!

Honestly.............now if some one from India will say that ONLY PAKISTANI PEOPLE CARE ABOUT AGE AND ALL of GALS not US then Im gonna slap him on his or ask him to watch this drama..cuz India ho ya pakistan...........women's age is a BIG ISSUE!! huh

We live in 2009, I have seen muslim-hindu's marrieges..I have seen women(pakistani/indian) getting married in their late 30's, early 30's even early 40's........and they have KIDS too............kess duniyan main reh rahay hain..this is AN INSULT to women my age and YES, Im screaming cuz I felt insulted.............and Im NOT WATCHING THIS BS DRAMA!!

It is the simi who is weak here. But then i have seen older girls from poor or middle class family try to hep out passes marriage age adn are left with either left out men or men with children.

Our society is always doing injustice to women compare to men. Man at any age can marry younger girl . But women do not have that advantage. Unmarried women are treated like a burden on the family that needs to be thrown to any taker regardless of age or nature . Serial is not crap but pointing at the fact that women even in today's age suffer. I have few examples in front of my own eyes and one is in my family itself.

But there is no need to get discouraged or even get depressed there is always a hope and we all live on that. Take every passing day as a day of new hope.
