Part 1

At Bharadwaj House

Prem has to go to college the next day. 

Tulsi goes to Prem's room.

Tulsi: Wake up, Prem?

Prem: Let me sleep, Mom!

Tulsi: Do you know what time is?

Prem: I think it is 6:30 am

Tulsi: Don't you know that you should reach the college by 8 am? It is already 6:45 am.

Prem wakes up at the start. 

He goes to the bathroom.

Tulsi prepares breakfast for Mihir and Prem.

Both are sitting at the dining table, waiting for Prem.

Mihir: I think it will take some time for Prem to come. I need to reach the office early today.

Tulsi: Prem is always late. He has not had any time-sense. So, please don't wait for him.

Mihir: Prem gets up late but reaches the college on time.

Prem comes to the dining table.

All of them have breakfast. 

Mihir leaves for his workplace.

Prem gets ready and walks towards the college.

He meets Rishab

Rishab: Why do you walk? Get into the car. We will go to college together.

Prem: It's ok. I am happy to walk.

Rishab: If you walk, you will be late. I will reach the college before you.

Prem: You don't know my walking speed. I was never late for college.

Rishab: Challenge!

Prem: I accept it. 

Rishab: If I win, you should pay me Rs.100/-

Prem: And if you lose, you should give me Rs. 100/-

Rishab: Done.

Prem & Rishab part their ways.

Rishab reaches the college but gets shocked, seeing Prem reaching before him.

Prem: Where is my money?

Rishab: I have Rs.10. I will give you Rs.90/- later.

Prem: The condition was about Rs.100/- 

Rishab: Right now, I don't have. I can pay you in installments.

Prem: No need. Keep that money with you. But next time, be careful before challenging me.

They are on the way to the classroom.

Preeta drives the car and sees Rishab's car.

Preeta: This is my parking space. I don't want anybody to take that.

Rishab takes out his car

All enter the classroom. 

Preeta sees Prem and gets attracted to him.

While she is about to sit next to Prem, Rishab takes that place.

Preeta sits at the back.

The lecture begins. 

He starts with the first chapter, where he talks about old love.

Preeta dreams about Prem, imagining the Salim-Anarkali scene. According to the imagination, Mihir is the king.

Mihir: Do you accept your crime?

Prem: Love is not a sin or a crime. It is an innermost feeling of a person, which no one can destroy.

Mihir to Preeta: I will never allow you to be Salim's wife.

Prem: You rule the entire nation but cannot rule over the hearts.

Mihir continues: Salim will never let you die & I will not allow you to live.

Prem: Lovers don't get afraid of death.

Mihir: Today, I forget that Prem is my son. Guards take him to the dungeon and whip him.

Preeta: Please spare my Salim.

She says it in her dream.

All the students roared with laughter.

The lecturer said, "Quiet, please. It is not good to make fun of others."

Preeta leaves the class.

At Basu House

Kashish gets a call from the college principal. He said, "Simar has completed the admission formalities. She can attend the classes from tomorrow."

Kashish: Thanks.

Meanwhile, Mohini is sitting on a standing cycle and working out. The phone rings with the bells in the pooja room.

Mohini: Is anybody there? Please pick up the phone.

The phone continues to ring. 

Mohini gets up from the standing cycle and picks up the call.

Kashish: Mom, convey the message to Simar that she got admission to the college.

Mohini: That's good news. 

Kashish: Tell her to reach the college at 10 am sharp.

She hears the sound of the bell in the background.

Mohini: You know that your dad well. He is reading Hanuman Chalisa. One wrong decision in life leads to ruins.

Kashish disconnects the phone.

Moley comes to Mohini with the Prasad.

Mohini: I am frustrated with you.

Moley: Your clothes are tired of you.

Mohini: Why are you bent on ruining my life?

Moley: How can I spoil your life when Lord Yamraj could not do anything to you? You are making noise as if a scorpion has stung you.

Mohini: I made a big mistake marrying you. Why did you ruin my morning today?

Moley: It doesn't seem like that. Tell me what happened.

Mohini: You make a lot of sounds as if a herd of bulls has entered here.

Moley: I was praying to God. I can see only one bull.

Mohini: O God, please save me from this man.

Moley: Leave it. Take the prasad & make your mouth sweet.

Mohini: You are giving me the prasad and increasing my calories. I burn thousands of calories daily, and you are giving me sweets.

Moley: What is the use? You burn everyone's hearts and burn your calories. But you are still the same. Why don't you drive the cycle & leave the world as your friends did?

Mohini: Why are you after my life? Oh God, please save me from this man.

Moley: And the devil should save me from you.

The next day:

Simar drives the car. She sees Preeta's car.

Simar: I am parking my car here.

Preeta: I have already parked my car.

Simar: The college belongs to me. 

Preeta: If the college belongs to you, you can park the car anywhere.

Simar drives the car rashly. She hits Rishab's car and breaks the floodlight. However, Rishab goes under her car.

Simar drives the car inside the room and comes out.

Prem and Preeta see Rishab's face with black tar.

Prem: How come did your face become black?

Rishab: It is because of Simar's car. But I have failed the break to teach her a lesson.

Preeta: That is very serious. How can you make her lose her life through a break fail only to teach her a lesson? Prem, go and save her.

Simar is unable to control the break.

Prem runs behind Simar's car.

Simar's car bumps one of the poles, and she falls into the river.

Prem takes a plunge, saves Simar, and drops her at her place.

Mohini is shocked to see Simar in that state.

Mohini: How did this happen?

Prem: Her car had a brake failure, which she couldn't control. She fell into the sea, and I brought her here.

Mohini confronts the family and the car driver, saying, "I keep telling you guys not to let her go alone. But no one listens to me."

Mohini continues with her confrontation. She told the driver, "It is because of your carelessness that it happened. She could have lost her life. I will cut your half day's salary."

Moloy: Leave it, Mohini.

Mohini: Again, you took my name?

Moloy: Sorry, it is a slip of my tongue. But I want to tell you that Simar's life is saved, and we must be thankful to God. Give her some Kada to drink.

Mohini: The problem with this family is they depend on useless medicines. Simar is only used by one doctor, Sid. She won't have any other medication unless he prescribes it.

Mohini then says to Prem, " Thank you, young lad, for saving our Simar."

She took Rs. 2000/- from her purse and said, "Here is the reward for saving our girl."

Prem: Give that reward to a poor person. They will pray for your grand-daughter.

Prem leaves.
