Part 12 – Love Finds Its Truth
SYDNEY
The atmosphere became tense as Sharad and Sameer stood facing each other.
Anand immediately sensed the awkwardness.
Anand: Come inside first. We can talk peacefully.
All of them entered the house.
Sharad kept looking at Sameer.
Sharad: I told you to stay away from Naina.
Sameer remained calm.
Sameer: You're mistaken. We met on the flight by coincidence. Uncle Anand knows everything.

Anand nodded.
Anand: That's true, Sharad. Sameer has always behaved respectfully.
Sharad turned towards Naina.
Sharad: Then why didn't you tell me that you've been meeting him almost every day?
Naina: Because I knew you would react exactly like this.
Sharad became silent.
Later that evening...
Sameer was about to leave.
Sharad stopped him.
Sharad: Wait.
Sameer turned around.
Sharad: I owe you an apology.
Everyone looked surprised.

Sharad: I judged you without knowing you. I thought you were still the same careless fellow who embarrassed Naina at that party. But Uncle Anand has told me how much you've helped them here.
Sameer smiled.
Sameer: Forget it.
Sharad extended his hand.
Sameer shook it.
The misunderstanding between them finally ended.
A Walk Through Sydney
The next day, Sameer and Naina visited the famous harbor after work.
The weather was pleasant.
Neither of them spoke for several minutes.
Finally...
Sameer: You know something?
Naina: What?
Sameer: Earlier I believed love was a headache.
Now...
I'm beginning to think it isn't that bad.
Naina smiled.
Naina: Congratulations.
Sameer: For what?
Naina: You're finally growing up.
Sameer laughed.
The Song Begins
"Kaisi Hai Yeh Rut..."
The beautiful melody played as a montage unfolded.
Sameer and Naina spent an entire day together.
- They photographed colorful parrots in the park.
- They enjoyed coffee beside the harbor.

- They competed in an arcade game.
- Naina laughed when Sameer deliberately lost to make her smile.
- Sameer secretly clicked candid photographs of Naina whenever she wasn't looking.

At sunset, they stood watching the Opera House glow in golden light.
Neither realized how naturally they had become part of each other's lives.
MUMBAI
Swati had been thinking continuously about Munna's confession.
Her parents noticed her silence.
Jamuna smiled.
Jamuna: Is everything alright?
Swati hesitated.
Swati: Mom...
What if friendship slowly becomes love?
Jamuna smiled knowingly.
Jamuna: Then don't run away from it.
Sometimes the best marriages begin with friendship.
Swati lowered her eyes.
For the first time...
she admitted to herself that Munna had become special.
Ratan and Diya
The custody hearing finally began.
Abhay entered confidently with his lawyers.
Diya looked nervous.
Ratan quietly stood beside her.
The judge examined the new evidence.
The lawyer presented—
- The medical reports proving Diya had been drugged.
- Hotel records.
- Witness statements.
- Financial records showing Abhay had manipulated the previous case.
The judge looked towards Abhay.
Judge: These are serious allegations.
Abhay had no convincing answers.
The hearing was adjourned for the final verdict.
Outside the courtroom...
Diya broke down.
Diya: I'm scared.
Ratan gently held her hand.
Ratan: Don't worry.
Truth takes time...
but it always wins.
Diya looked into his eyes.

For the first time...
she didn't withdraw her hand.
Sydney
Days later...
Jayprakash organized a charity photography exhibition.
Anand, Bela and Naina attended.
Sameer displayed several wildlife photographs.
One particular photograph attracted everyone's attention.
It was a candid picture of Naina smiling while feeding birds.
Anand smiled.
Anand: Beautiful photograph.
Sameer smiled softly.
Sameer: She didn't even know I clicked it.
Naina looked at the picture.
She was speechless.
At the exhibition..
- Sameer playfully searched for Naina among the crowd.
- Naina teased him by hiding behind different stalls.
- Anand laughed watching their childish games.
- Sameer finally found her near the garden.
Both laughed together.
Even Jayprakash noticed the happiness on Sameer's face.
That Night
Jayprakash and Sameer sat on the terrace.
Jayprakash: Tell me honestly.
Do you love Naina?
Sameer looked at the stars.
After a long silence...
He smiled.
Sameer: I think...
No...
I know.
I love her.
Jayprakash's face lit up.
Jayprakash: Finally!
The Sameer who feared love...
has fallen in love.
Sameer laughed.
Sameer: Don't make fun of me.
Jayprakash: Never.
Love has made you a better man.
MUMBAI
Munna was sitting alone at Marine Drive.
Someone sat beside him.
He turned.
It was Swati.
Without saying anything...
she handed him an ice cream.
Munna smiled.
Munna: Peace offering?
Swati nodded.
After a moment...
she spoke softly.
Swati: I took time because I wanted to be sure.
Munna listened quietly.
Swati: You're no longer the flirt everyone talks about.
You're my best friend.
And...
I think I've fallen in love with that friend.
Munna stared at her in disbelief.
Munna: Really?
Swati smiled.
Instead of answering...
she gently held his hand.

Munna's eyes filled with tears of happiness.
Munna and Swati enjoyed themselves together.

Sydney
The following morning...
Sameer gathered enough courage to tell Naina about his feelings.
He called her.
Sameer: Can we meet this evening?
Naina: Of course.
Sameer: I have something important to tell you.
Naina smiled.
Naina: I'll be there.

As Sameer disconnected the call, he looked at the engagement ring still on Naina's finger.
Unknown to him...
Naina had already made a difficult decision after realizing that Sharad's possessiveness was incompatible with the life she wanted.
Their conversation that evening would change everything.
