Continuing with the past….

The next day….

Handaji meets Maan at a business event…

Handaji: how are you Maan?

Maan knows that Handaji would be concerned about his daughter more ….

Maan: Geet is fine

Handaji: I know, I was only asking you

Maan looks surprised….

Handaji: my daughter never stays at any place more than a minute if she is not happy

That’s a bit of a shocker for Maan, Geet likes staying at KM? Does that mean she likes staying with Maan more?

Maan is lost in that thought…

Handa: Maan, what happened?

Maan: I’m good

Handaji: Ranno and maaji are missing Geet, why don’t you come home for this weekend?

Maan thinks for a while…

Handaji: it’s ok if you two have other plans

Maan thinks that Geet should go meet her parents….

Maan: no no, we’ll come

Maan tells Geet that Handaji asked them to come home for the weekend….

Geet: what did you say?

Maan: I said ok, you go home and see them

Geet: what?

Maan looks at her bewildered… what does she want?

Maan: go home Geet, your family is missing you

Maan is almost pleading… Geet: won’t you miss me?

Maan turns and looks at Geet in confusion….

Maan: what?

Geet: we are family now

Maan: I don’t miss my family

Geet: I know, you are not the ordinary, you are the extraordinary, the MSK

Maan: can we just stop this argument here?

Maan is not in a mood to fight, or he is not happy with this discussion, he doesn’t know the answers to Geet’s absurd questions.. or he is not willing to accept the changes that are happening to him lately….

Geet: I’m not going without you

Maan: it’s your home

Geet: but you should also come with me , they expect me to come with you only, we are married Maan

Maan: but Geet that’s when I am in Delhi, I’m going to Goa

Geet: Goa without me?

Maan: it’s not a personal trip, it’s official Geet: I will also come with you, I love Goa

Maan: what?

Geet: move, I need to pack

Geet opens the cupboard and looks at her dresses…

She pulls out her dresses one by one and throws them away…

Geet: not good , no, doesn’t fit, out of fashion

Maan: Geet, you are not coming with me

Geet: Mr.Hubby, I need dresses for the Goa trip

Maan: didn’t you hear me? I’m going alone

Geet: didn’t you hear me? Let’s go shopping

Geet gets the keys and goes down…

Geet shouts: Maan, jaldhi aao, Riya is waiting

Maan comes down, he can’t disappoint Riya…

They go to the Mall…

Geet gets some clothes for Riya and herself while Maan is busy on his phone talking business….

Geet: Maan, dekho, ye mere liye aur ye Riya ke liye

Maan is still talking on his mobile…

Geet: what did you get for yourself?

Maan asks her to wait…

Geet: all the time you were only talking?

Maan signals her that they should go now…

Geet thrusts the bags in his hands and goes back to the shop…

Maan is getting impatient…

Geet gets some T-shirts and trousers for Maan….

Maan: Riya, tum logon ka shopping katam Hui ya nahi?

Geet: ye lo

Maan: bas itna hi? Geet: ye tummare liye hai

Maan is shocked….

This is the first time someone else is shopping for Maan…

Even Annie doesn’t get dresses for Maan for he is very particular about his dressing…. He goes for the same brands and the same style, like a uniform…

Maan looks at the bag and it’s a different brand…

Maan: I don’t use this

Geet: I know, this is not for your office, it’s for the Goa beaches

Maan: what?

Geet: Goa jaake kamrein mein sojaoge kya?

Actually Maan would be doing that only, just attend the conference and go back to his room…

He doesn’t chill out with the others on the beach or go for the late night cruise parties…

Maan doesn’t like crowd and hates socializing, so he has no interest in such parties…

But this time it’s definitely going to be different…

Geet saath ho toh Maan ke zindagi mein maze ka kammi nahi hotha, haina?

Toh tayaar ho jao Mr.Maan Singh Khurana….

Whether the atmosphere of the beaches work or not, but Geet’s magic would work wonders for you without fail….

Geet is already in holiday mood….

Geet has packed her bags and keeps checking it again and again…

She doesn’t want to miss anything…

She has not gone to the beaches for a long time, she loves watching the never ending waves(they are kind of telling everyone never to give up) and taking sun bath, that’s all she could do, you know how she is scared of the waters…..

This is a long awaited break that was much needed for Geet, she really likes to party all night… with or without Mr.Khurana, either way she would be happy….

Geet is packing…

Maan comes….

There is things everywhere in the room…

Maan: what are you doing Geet?

Geet: packing?

Maan: are you going back to NZ? Geet: this is for Goa

Staying abroad has made her fear everything, even the Sun, she has got all the sunscreen protections….

But girl, you belong to this land, you grew up in the Sun…

Maan: you are not going to the Amazon forests Geet, you get everything in Goa if at all you need anything

Geet: I’m not going shopping, I’m going to enjoy my vacation

Maan: whatever it is just

Geet has informed her parents already…

Dadi calls….

Dadi: halo Geet

Geet: hi dadi, what do you want from Goa

Dadi: a great grandchild

Geet: dadi, when did you become serialwali baa?

Dadi: just kidding, anyway this is your honeymoon trip

Geet: think so

Dadi: what? This is not the time to think Geet, just get into action

Geet: dadi, are you seventy or seventeen?

Dadi: why? I’m still sixteen at heart

Geet: that is so true

Dadi: you are going out with your hubby alone for the first time, you two will be on your own, don’t miss this opportunity and use it wisely

Geet: you are so wicked dadi

Dadi: when you come back, your man should follow you like a puppy, understood?

Geet imagines the scenario where Maan follows Geet closely like a puppy and starts laughing….

Dadi: what’s so funny Geet? I’m serious Geet: I know dadi, but this is so not happening

Dadi: what?

Geet: I mean, I will make it happen, you don’t worry dadi

Dadi: all the very best Geet

Geet: thanks dadi, I’ll conquer that Khurana and make you proud

Dadi is happy….

Geet knows that dadi is insane, but she liked the thought of teasing Maan a little, it may not be a honeymoon trip, but what’s wrong to have some fun? Haina?

Geet is getting bored playing with little Riya, she wants to play with Maan this time…

Riya is happy to follow Geet’s rules, But Maan makes his own rules…

That’s going to be a challenge for Geet… and it’s going to be more entertaining….

They are ready to go…

Geet has packed everything, she has got two huge trolleys full of her things alone, she is used to packing stuff for long stays, but this is just a weekend trip to Goa Geet…

Even if it's only a couple of days, Geet will make it memorable for Maan definitely... Haina?
