At the farmhouse….

Maan keeps watching Geet, her actions are not only unpredictable but also entertaining….

You need to have some patience to enjoy though, and Maan has slowly learnt to be calm by just stopping his brains to think whenever he is with Geet, because then only you can survive with her as she also doesn’t give work to her brains much…. Just chill and enjoy what’s coming Maan…

Geet sets the stage ready for the party…

Riya loves cutting a cake and all the fun… she also likes eating it… she too is a foodie like Geet…

Geet: toh chalo chalo cake khaatthe hai

Maan keeps watching from a distance…

Geet: hare, what are you doing there? Come and join us, it’s the ½ month anniversary of our wedding

Maan is shocked… what? 15 days ho gaye? And she wants to celebrate that?

How is Maan going to tolerate all this for another 15 days?

There is still 15 days for the separation track to start… Maan would become a clown by the end of one month, haina?

Geet: Maan, come and take a piece, it’s delicious, haina Riya?

Maan turns and finds both of them feeding with each other and eating not worried about the spills…

At least Riya is eating a little decently, but look at Geet, even her nose is eating cake…

Maan doesn’t understand who is more childish, Riya or Geet?

Geet: Riya, give a bite to mamu

Riya signals Maan to come and have a bite with a piece of cake in her little hand…

Maan bends down and gets closer…

Geet winks and Riya puts the cake over Maan’s face…

Riya is enjoying this new game… even Geet too ….

Geet claps her hands and laughs …

Geet: you were thinking about the cream on my nose na? Now look at you, your whole face is eating cake

How did she find out about what Maan was thinking about her?

Its no secret, Maan was looking at Geet’s nose itself for more than a minute….

Now it’s Geet’s turn…

Geet takes a piece and tries to put it over Maan’s face…

Maan grabs her hand and Geet freezes….

She keeps looking at Maan…

Maan bends and takes a bite from her hand….

Geet takes back her hand…

Maan leaves as Geet keeps watching him….

Then they return…..

One evening at KM… Geet is craving for ice cream…

Geet goes to see Riya..

Riya is with Annie ..

Geet: Annie, What’s Riya doing?

Annie: she is troubling me like always

Geet: hare, Riya is a good girl, you have mistaken Annie, what’s the matter?

Annie: she is not eating her dinner, it’s a headache for me everyday

Geet: why do you get upset for every little thing? Come on Riya, let’s go and have dinner, we are good girls, we won’t trouble mama, haina?

Geet takes Riya with her…

Geet: kissi ko ice cream chahiye kya? Mujhe toh kaise bhi aaj ice cream khana hai

Riya: Riya wants

Geet: we will get it if only we finish our dinner fast, OK

Riya: ok

Geet feeds Riya cleverly…

Geet: Riyu ko kaunsi flavour chahiye

Riya: chocolate

Geet: haan, delicious dark chocolate ice cream from Haagen Dazs, haina?

Riya: haaan

Geet: ok, let’s call the delivery boy

Riya: hmm

Geet calls Maan…. She asks Riya to speak…

Maan: Geeeet Geeeet , halo

Riya: Riya Riya

Mana: hare hai Riya, what’s the matter? What does your friend want?

Riya: eeeet eeeet ice cream

Maan: ok, so you two want ice cream? I’ll get it for you , bye

Maan is about to cut the call….

Geet: hare haloooo, koi aaise waise ice cream nahi chahiye, only Haagen Dazs

Maan: I know

Geet: ek minute, aap ne poocha nahi kausa flavour

Maan: teek hai, bathao

Geet: do Belgian chocolate, aur kuch bhi aap ke pasand ka lelo

Maan: hmm

Geet: bas itna hi

Maan is still waiting…

Geet: aap ko kuch kehna hai?

Maan: hare, koi Sorbet bhi chahiye hoga

Geet: aap lelo Sorbet, mujhe ek Rocky road Sundae, my favourite midnight snack, kaise bhool gayi mein?

Maan: aur kuch toh nahi bhooli na? Phir kahoge mein hi bhool gaya

Geet: nahi, bas itna hi, aur papa aur maaji ke liye bhi lana mat bhoolna

Maan gets the ice cream for everyone…. Geet’s orders…

The elders have gone to bed… they will have it tomorrow…

Maan has got two special orders for the two kiddos and Annie’s favourite for her…

Maan always goes for the Shorbet, diet friendly Lemon Shorbet …

Annie tastes Riya’s and it’s very good…. .

Annie: Bhai try this, it’s super delicious

Maan takes a spoon and tries it .. it’s really good…

Maan goes for another spoon, this time a larger portion…

Maan likes it and it’s addictive, can’t stop with one spoon …

Geet is keenly watching Maan digging into poor Riya’s tub…

That’s too small…

Geet has got the extra large tub….

Geet knows what’s coming up next… they will dig into her tub now ….

Geet: excuse me, mujhe ek zaroori phone karna hai

Geet takes her tub and goes to her room …

Maan slowly follows her without her knowledge…

Geet goes and sits in the balcony and starts enjoying her ice cream…

Maan keeps watching her eating it like it’s some heavenly Amrit, Geet enjoys everything to the fullest, and appreciates it like it’s the last thing left on the planet…..

Yes, everything is special, even if it’s the free of cost Dhania or mirchi, a lot of resources are spent to create them, you have to appreciate what you get ….

Maan wonders how she finds so much happiness in even a tiny little ice cream…..

Maan gets near her …

Geet is so much into her ice cream that she doesn’t see Maan coming…. Maan reaches his hands out and within a second Geet pulls back her tub …

Geet knew it, Maan liked it too….

Geet: just like Joey, Geet doesn’t share her food with anyone

Geet is looking at her tub only as if Maan would snatch it from her …

Maan quietly reaches the tissue kept near by, takes one and gives it to Geet….

Maan: you might need this Geet, and I am not here for your ice cream, so don’t worry and just enjoy it

Geet has ice cream near her lips…

Geet takes the tissue from Maan and keeps it aside…. Geet: yahan kaun dekh raha hai?

Maan takes it back and wipes off the spilling himself…

Maan: you are in my place and my rules work for anyone who is here, understood

Geet: MSK and his rules, rules are meant to be broken at times to enjoy the full benefits of them

Maan: then why make rules at all?

Geet: that’s why I don’t have any rules, you should live like me for once to know what I’m saying

Maan: your ice cream is melting, don’t blame me for that too, you first finish it and we will continue the argument later

Geet: haaaaan, why did you come here?

What a great question? It’s Maan’s room which he is now sharing with her….

Maan just goes and quietly slips into his quilt….

He can’t keep explaining everything to Geet….

Geet gets back to her work….

Next day…

Geet herself calls Maan….

Maan is surprised….

Geet: Aaj na mujhe ice cream chahiye

Maan: kal hi laya tha, shayad kuch bacha hoga Geet, tera midnight snack bhi katam ho gaya?

Geet: bacha haina, aap ke Shorbet, I don’t like those , you owe me this one, I didn’t get to enjoy my ice cream fully yesterday because of you

Maan: I knew this would come

Geet: haan, Aaj theen Belgian chocolate lana, aur Sundae bhi yaad hoga

Maan: haan haan

Geet: thanks

Maan gets it as per the order…

As soon as Maan comes Geet gets two tubs and goes to the room …

Maan goes after her….

Maan: Geet, this is not good, ek saath do do ice cream kaise kaoge? Ek melt ho jayega, keep one in the fridge, no one will take it

Geet: aap pehle yahan aao

Maan: what do you want me to do? Help you eat both at once

Geet: beito toh sahi

Geet gives one to him….

Maan: are you kidding me? I’m not feeding you

Maan tries to get up…

Geet catches hold of his hands and pulls him back….

Geet: this one is for you, just relax and enjoy your ice cream

Maan did think of getting one for himself , but he didn’t because he was worried about his diet….

Maan is really surprised to see Geet doing this for him….

How well she understands everyone’s needs and takes care of it as well….

Maan finishes the whole extra large tub for the first time in his life and it feels so good and fulfilled….

As Geet says one should break the rules once in a while, for little joys like this do no harm to you….. it rather helps to keep you happy and healthy…
