Annie went to Chennai with Maan….

Pammy too went with them to take care of her pregnant daughter…

Madan stayed back in Delhi itself…

They settled in an apartment in Chennai…

Maan wanted them to be safe for he kept going places leaving them in Chennai…

Pammy invited Arjun a couple of times but Annie didn’t like it….

Maan asked Pammy not to do anything that Annie doesn’t like, Annie is not a child, she is going to be a mother and she has every right to decide what is good for her baby…

Maan almost threatened, and from then there was no talk about second marriage…. Maan then clearly told Arjun that he had dropped the idea about Annie’s wedding with Arjun for Annie had no intention of marrying again, Madan’s stupid plans to convince Annie to marry Arjun failed…. That was actually Pammy’s idea after she came to know that Arjun was ready to marry Annie along with the baby…..

Maan was very clear though, he didn’t want to force Annie to do anything against her will, he didn’t even bother to give her any advice, he wanted her to start thinking about her life and decide about her future on her own…

Pammy makes friends easily…

She made friends with the south indian neighbours…

She told everyone that her son-in-law stays abroad and her daughter is here for the delivery…

Annie was mostly silent…

The neighborhood women, specially the aunties took good care of Annie…

They made special dishes for pregnant Annie….

Every day one of them made tasty variety rice, mostly poliadare, tomato rice, special sambar sadam, ulunthang kanji and all types of sweets and savouries for Annie ,as it’s the time you crave for something sour and tasty…

Annie came out of her depression soon, there were always someone or the other to give company to Pammy and help her make delicious dishes for Annie at that time…

Pammy too taught them how to make authentic Punjabi dishes like the mulli partha, Gobi Paratha, kheer, Rajma chawal and the puris….

Maan was busy and came home only for resting….

When Maan was away one of the aunties came and stayed overnight with them…

Annie had no other go but only think about her baby with all the aunties around talking about the baby and sharing stories about baby care…

They took Annie to the OG doctor where their grandchildren were delivered…

Most of the aunties children were NRIs and so they were happy to be with Annie….

Pammy had very little to do when it came to taking care of Annie….

They took Annie to pregnancy classes and one maami even took Annie for the Marghazhi music festival, for it was good for the baby to hear good music…

The uncle’s did their part by taking Annie for walking in the morning and evening….

They said walking in the morning Sunlight gives vitamin D for the baby…

It was quite entertaining and also felt so good to enjoy all their pampering for Annie…

Then someone told about some mythological class for pregnant women online, Annie attended that too…

Don’t know if it helped the baby but it helped Annie to stay occupied and happy during that time….

Then one night Annie got the pain and Maan took her to the doctor immediately…

All the uncles and aunties came to the hospital in no time..

They were there with Pammy and Maan throughout the night….

Annie went into labour and had a normal delivery…

Maan was a little scared then…

Maan was relieved and happy…

Annie was busy with the baby, the aunties helped her with everything…

Annie just had to feed Riya and take rest…..

Pammy and the aunties took care of everything else….

Someone was good at bathing the newborn…

Someone was good at putting Riya to sleep with the lullabies…

One aunty made special dishes for the lactating mother….

They had the tricks to take care of a crying baby….

Riya grew up as the favourite of the whole apartment…

Then Maan’s project ended they decided to return to Delhi…

Madan couldn’t handle KC alone….

Though Geet was in New Zealand, she was constantly worried about Annie…

Geet knew that they have made a grave mistake by getting Annie married to Vicky even after knowing about his bad habits…

Geet didn’t know that Vicky’ had a serious drug problem, she had no idea that he used drugs… she knew that he was an alcoholic, but drugs?

Geet didn’t care about Vicky much but she wanted Annie to be happy wherever she might be…

Geet tried to know about Annie from her family but no one was ready talk about that… they really didn’t have much news, only stories they heard from unreliable sources…

Geet wondered who these sources are?

Maninder got to know that Annie gave birth to a girl from his business circle…

Ranno stopped going to social gatherings after Vicky went missing…

Her worry about her lost son made her weak mentally and physically…

She got bed ridden… Geet even thought of returning but Ranno denied that no one but only her son could be of any help to her ailments…

Maninder told Geet that Ranno will get back to her full form in no time for she was one strong woman…

Geet too knew that…

Ranno slowly recovered… she then stopped talking about Vicky ..

That was a big surprise for everyone…

Geet was worried about her brother but she knew that Vicky can only get out of that hell on his own, if he had a strong will… otherwise it’s no use trying to help him from the outside…

Moreover she couldn’t do much sitting there in NZ…

She had a year’s work contract as part of her course and she decided to take it for she knew that Ranno would get her married once she sets foot in Delhi…

After seeing her brother’s failed marriage, Geet lost faith in marriage itself…

She has the idea of living independently, and she would only think about giving a chance to love if only she met someone extraordinary, someone really special.

Then too she would give it a try, maybe a few months living together might help understand that person to some extent, then she may think about marriage…

She didn’t find anyone that impressive in NZ…

She is still waiting for the right one….
