so finally..here is the update...thank god i typed it without opening IF...or else i would have never able to type it after reading news about our show...lets not get into it...it makes me really depressed...
IMPORTANT NOTE: regarding last line of last update... i dont know how many times i have to say this...arhi are the leads...and i loved them very much...iam not cv's to plan anything evil...
just trust me guys...last time u trusted me with lavanya...seeing 95% of you still continuing to read this ff...i believe i didnt let you down guys...believe me this time also...i wont let you down...you will enjoy this track... this may be emotional ff, but definitely not sad...
CHAPTER 22
3 words, 8 letters, 3 syllables, 5 vowels, 3 consonants, 2 nouns, one emotion, many meanings, a big lie, a rare truth: I LOVE YOU!
"Do you know Arnav? buaji was a bad cook. Whenever she cooks, I used to make some lame excuses and leave for the restaurant to eat." Arnav looked at her in amusement as she giggled. He was seated on the bed with his back leaning on head rest and legs stretched. Kushi was lying on bed with her head resting on his lap.
His amusement grew more as she continued talking about her aunt and her childhood without any pause or break. She was not looking at him. Today he was not even lucky to get her little attention. All thanks to the huge teddy bear with which she was playing for last one hour. Yes, teddy bear! It all started with it.
Last Sunday, when he was watching kushi and pia playing with teddy bear, he noticed how kushi's face changed when pia grabbed the soft toy from her. So he decided to buy new teddy bear for kushi and today he bought it. Kushi became excited and started to tell how she was fond of teddy bears from her childhood.
But Arnav had no idea about how the topic got changed from teddy bear to her buaji's culinary skills. Though he was not much interested in what she was saying, he liked it. He liked her carefree talks. He liked the way her face was glowing with enthusiasm. He liked the way she was holding the teddy bear above her belly. He liked the way she said his name 'Arnav' at end of every sentence she uttered.
"Though my mom used to visit me very often; buaji was the one who brought me up. i agree she was annoying at times, but she was very caring. I loved her very much, Arnav. That's why when she died, i couldn't stay there alone at London. I felt so lonely and depressed and came back to India. You know the rest of the story, don't you Arnav?" she asked looking at him.
Arnav nodded giving a sad smile understanding that she must have really loved her aunt. She continued "it all started with her. First she left me, but then you came. I was happy. Then you, mom, papa and arjun everyone left me one by one. When i thought i had lost everything, she came into my life; Giving a new meaning to life; with a promise of never leaving me." She stroked her slightly bulged belly. "He or she, whoever it is."
"Arnav." Kushi screamed getting up from bed making Arnav to jerk. "What will you do, if it is a he? I mean boy?" Kushi asked him worriedly placing the teddy bear on the bed. Arnav shook his head and replied flatly. "It's a girl." Kushi tried to argue but Arnav didn't let her. "It's going to be girl."
"i asked the doctor about the gender. But she refused to disclose it. Rules!" Kushi pouted her lips lifting her eyebrows up in displeasure. "But you know what, Arnav? From the time, i came to know about my pregnancy i have a feeling that it's going to be a girl. You are also saying its girl. Now i really think it's going to be girl."
Arnav became silent hearing words 'from the time'. His mind started to ponder. He felt bad realising that he had missed one of the cherished moments of life. How would have it felt to wait for pregnancy result reports? How would have it felt when doctor had congratulated him informing that he is going to become father? He had even missed kushi's first reaction to the news.
What she must have felt? Happy or sad? He stared at Kushi who as kneeling in front of him. "kushi, can i ask you something?" She nodded asking him to proceed. "What was your reaction when you came to know that you were pregnant? I mean, how you felt hearing it?" he questioned her.
Kushi face immediately fell sad. All her enthusiasm had evaporated. She stared down, not wanting to look at him. Arnav felt bad comprehending that he had rekindled her wounds again. When he was about to ask sorry, Kushi did something which he didn't expect even a bit. She threw herself on him, looping her arms around him, burying her face in his chest just like small kid finding solace in mother's arms.
"i wanted to see you." She said making his heart to stop beating. She wanted to see him? Tears began to fill his eyes. "But that was my first reaction." Her voice was calm and composed. "When I remembered what you did to me, my temper increased. I decided to have the child. It was symbol of my love."
"Our love." Arnav corrected her resting his chin on her head. He could feel her smile against his chest. "I never wanted to come back to you. I thought you had no right on my child after the way you left me. But i had no other option except to come back to you." She accepted sadly. "What do you mean by you had no other option?" Arnav asked her in confusion.
Kushi pulled away from him in an instant and looked at his clueless face. "i mean..." she adjusted her hair by tucking it behind her ear all while looking at everywhere but not at him. "i had no other option because i didn't want my child to be named as illegitimate child. Ram uncle explained that no matter how much love and money, i showered on our child; this name will hurt him big time. He asked me to marry you. Even that was my mother's last wish."
Arnav nodded clearly understanding that she was lying to him and there was much more to the story. But he didn't want to fuss over it. She lied down on his lap again, this time not even caring to pick her teddy bear. She started to blabber again about how she wanted to leave in six months at first and how she got confused over the past.
"At a point of time, i even believed that arjun was responsible for your sister's death." She said dramatically rolling her eyes. "Actually, he was." Arnav replied as a matter of fact lost in some other world while his hands were caressing her hair. Kushi nodded in reply and then jolted up with a force as soon as his words sunk inside her.
"What did you say?" she shouted anxiously. "Relax Kushi. It's nothing." He tried to calm her mentally cursing himself for spitting the truth out. "Arnav, tell me what happened? What he did to aarti? Tell me the truth, Arnav." she asked him in panic. "i told it's nothing important. It doesn't matter anyway. I didn't take revenge for that."
When Kushi was not convinced, he said "okay, technically he killed my sister. But if you think logically then he didn't." Kushi opened her mouth to say something but immediately closed it trying to calm down herself. She spoke slowly. "Will you elaborate me what happened before i go and bang my head on the wall?"
"You will really do it?" Arnav asked amusedly with smile on his face. "Stop smiling. Do these things look funny to you, Arnav? Or do i?" she asked gritting her teeth. "No, absolutely not funny. Actually you look hot especially with your cheeks which had turned red in anger!" he said shyly in husky tone.
Kushi's jaw dropped down and she closed her ears with her hands and whispered to herself. "Relax Kushi. Calm down. Calm down."
Arnav smiled more seeing her antics. There are two reasons for his sarcastic reply. First he didn't want to tell her the truth. Second, she really looked irresistible. Arnav don't know the reason but from the beginning whenever she is angry and irritated, it completely turns him on just like now. Kushi was also well aware of it.
She started to scream again "stop smiling and tell me what really happened? If not..." she became silent as soon as she felt his lips on her. Closing her eyes, she gulped controlling herself from responding to him. This is not the first time he had done it. He does it whenever she is angry at him. When both are angry, it's a different matter resulting in fight. But when she alone is angry, this is what he does.
He pulled away from her holding still holding her both cheeks. Her eyes were closed. When he opened his mouth to speak, she signalled him to stop showing her hands like a traffic police. "Not a word, Arnav. If you dare to speak a word, then I won't mind becoming a widow by killing you." She said gritting her teeth and opened her eyes to witness his annoying smile.
She yelled "why do you smile for everything i say? Do you know how much it irritates me?" Arnav looked at her angry face and flushed cheeks. He sighed before looping his right hand around her neck and pulled her towards him. "Stop doing this to me, kushi..." he said before taking her lips in his.
He kissed her hungrily letting her to know all his emotions she is making him to feel. This time she too responded pouring out all her anger. They both fought for dominance. But slowly kiss turned into passionate one, immersing both of them in different world. As he deepened the kiss, it became unbearable to Kushi. She couldn't think. arjun, aarti, everything went out of her mind.
She fell on her back and Arnav was about to fall on her when he balanced himself with his hand, thus ending their kiss abruptly. He looked at her breathless form while trying to catch his own breath. When he noticed that she was about to talk, he warned her. "dont tell me that you want to know about the past even after this."
That's when it struck kushi; what he is doing to her. Without answering her, he just shut her mouth by kissing her. She felt disgusted. He can kiss her but she wanted it to be out of love not like this. She looked at him angrily and scolded him. "You are a bas***d, Arnav. i hate you." With all her might, she pushed him and he fell on his back next to her as she got up.
"kushi, i want you." He said with a serious tone holding her wrist. "now." Kushi felt knot forming in her stomach with audacity of his voice. All her anger vanished with the need she felt in his voice. Looking down, she rolled her eyes from one corner to another, not daring to look at her husband. She felt him getting up and coming close to her. She simply sat there neither moving nor turning back.
He left her wrist and she held the bedspread tightly in her fist. She felt him close to right neck. Her heart was already beating fast against her ribcage. He removed her hair slowly and made it to fall on her left shoulder. As his fingers touched her neck, in that process, she shivered closing her eyes.
She felt tingles on her spine as soon as his breath fell on her neck blades. Her breathing was already ragged. "i wanted you from the time i saw you." He kissed her neck through the cotton shirt she was wearing. He looped his left arm around her waist and she immediately held it, pressing it closer to her waist. She clutched his hand more as he kissed exposed part of her neck.
She bit her lower lip as she heard him say "i badly want you now." He started to lay open mouth kisses along her neck and reached her earlobe. "But i am ready..." He moved his face forward and kissed the corner of her eye. "To wait..." he kissed her cheeks. "For you to accept me..." He continued to torture her by kissing the corner of her lips. "Even if it takes years, i will wait for you."
He pressed his cheek against her cheek and asked "do you know why?" kushi felt like her heart break her rib cage and fall out. "Do you know why?" he asked her again. She shook her head slightly. Arnav moved back. kushi hissed as his stubble caressed her cheek.
Arnav stopped reaching her ear and again kissed her ear lobe before whispering into her ear. "Because i love you." Kushi's eyes shot open and her grip on his hand loosened. 'Did he just said it?' her breath became more shallow and she started to breathe through her mouth.
She removed his hand from her waist and turned her face to see his. Tears begin to fill eyes as she looked at his love filled eyes. She looked at him in stunned disbelief as he held cheeks with his hands and kissed her forehead. "i love you kushi."
She closed her eyes making a lone tear to slip out her eyes. He rubbed it his thumb. She opened her eyes to look at him. She removed his hand from her cheeks and bought it to her lips before kissing it. He looked at her intently as she moved close to him. "do i have to say it or show it?" she asked stopping an inch away from his face.
"Why not both, just like i did?" he replied to her making her smile. "i love you too, Arnav." saying that she crashed her lips on his. She initiated kiss slowly and he took the control. Kushi was melting in his tenderness. There was no hurry or no hunger or even no passion for that matter. All she felt was his love. His true love for her; love which she always wanted to feel; love which she thought she will never get at least in this life time; love enough for her to love him back till her last breath.
She had no idea when she fell on bed with Arnav top of her again. She was immersed in his pure love. Arnav broke the kiss sensing that they both need air. She opened her eyes breathing hard and talked in serious tone. "i fear that i don't love you as much as you love me, Arnav." Arnav looked at her in confusion. "Because unlike you, i can't wait for you over years. I want you now, damn it."
Arnav smiled and pecked her lips. "i am always yours, kushi." she smiled "prove it."
"With pleasure."
actually i had planned someother way to show proposal...but seeing last fridays episode...when arnav held her from back...i got this scene...first time i have tried to written something very romantic...hope it was not bad...comment about it...tell me if it was lame i will stop writing such scenes...be honest please
will get an update on thursday hopefully...if i get 300 likes and comments...
