Part 25

Shilpa pushed off the blanket hurriedly and stared around.. She tensed as she realized she was in a very small room.. But how... Who had brought her here.. She started to shake.. Had someone kidnapped her and brought her here.. Oh god.. Where was Arav..

Shilpa stood up instantly... She couldn't see much in the dark.. But she started to walk around to find the door when suddenly someone gripped her waist and pulled her.. Shilpa gasped as she crashed to the person who had gripped her waist holding her tight... But soon the tension faded off as she realized who it was.. She gripped his shoulder as tears of relief fell from her eyes..

"Steve !!! " She whispered...

He lit the room quietly... She blinked her eyes trying to adjust it to the light.. Then she stared at him lovingly while he stared at her with a strange expression...

"You are wrong... I am not Steve.. " he stated softly...

Shilpa stared at him confused... "What... "

He then gave her a smile.. A gentle smile which she hardly saw.. The smile which belonged to only one man...

"I am Armaan Mallik.. " He stated smiling...

"Oh god.. " her knees buckled but he held her so that she wouldn't fall.. She stared at him through tears of relief.. "You remember... You remember everything.. " She whispered brokenly...

"Yes... " He whispered touching his forehead with hers... He leaned down and kissed her passionately... She eagerly kissed him back pouring out all her love in that one kiss... For how long she had craved for this moment.. To love him like this.. Waiting for him to remember me...

And finally the moment was here..

"When did you remember.. "She whispered as he broke the kiss..

"The very night I made love to you.. " He whispered staring down at her with love.. "It was as if a door had opened within my head.. A door filled with memories.. "

Shilpa smiled at him happily... "I am so happy.. You don't know from how long I have been wanting you to remember me.. " She sniffed

"And finally it happened.. " he smiled back.. "I always knew.. I had this feeling inside me when I saw you from Steve's eyes.. That I knew you.. You always ticked my mind.. Your voice was haunting my dreams.."

She smiled back and hugged him fiercely.. "I am so Happy... "

She frowned suddenly.. "Where is Arav.. "

He grinned.. "I held him until he slept.. " He glanced at the corner of the room...

Shilpa looked and smiled seeing the way Arav was bundled between sheets... He had made a small bed for his son so he would sleep in peace..

"I had to take you away somewhere safe.. Devlin found this cheap motel.. I am sorry that Arav has to sleep on floor.. " He spoke sadly...

"But he looks comfortable.. And most importantly safe.. " Shilpa whispered..

He stood back and tilted her chin making her stare in his eyes.. With his eyes filled with desperation he whispered.. "Say my name..I am dying to hear it... "

"Armaan " She whispered..

"Shilpa.. " He whispered brushing his lips on hers..

"Say it again " He whispered as he started to unzip her dress.. Caressing her back with his hand..

"Armaan...Armaan.." She whispered nonstop as he lowered her into the small bed.. Soon they were free from clothes and soon he he was making loving to her.. With the love and caring which she had craved from past year.. This time he claimed her as Armaan Mallik.. Her lover , Her husband..

By the end, he pulled her close to him and whispered... "I love you.."

"David !! Where the hell are you going ??? " Robin questioned him..

"I am going to kill the bas***d.. How dare he hit me! He cant get away from me until I teach him a lesson!! " David spoke taking his gun...

"What's the use David ! He is already gone.. Surely you can't mean to ruin our deal by doing this.. Let him go.. " Logan protested...

"No I wont ! " David shouted.. "Now you both are coming with me or not ! " He spoke impatiently...

"We are not ! " Robin spoke firmly.."You cant always impose things on us David. You may not find the deal important but we do.. "

"Even I am not going.. " Logan joined Robin... "I want this deal. I want this money badly.. "

David gave a cunning smile.. "Wow ! So you both are ready to betray me for money.. Well bad news.. You would get money only if I leave both of you Alive to get the money right ?"

Logan and Robin stared at him horrified as he pointed the gun..

"Goodbye ! "

1 hour later in Airport :

"No Armaan.. You cant leave me here.. " Shilpa shouted at him tears as she held Arav close..

"I have to.. " Armaan spoke heavily... "I need to tackle this down Shona.. I will be back as soon as I get rid of this problem.. Our flight to India is in 2 hours.. Just wait for me.."

"What if you cant reach by 2 hours..? " Shilpa questioned crying softly...

He sighed and cupped her face.. " I will comeback.. Trust me on this... "

He cleared her tears and kissed her lovingly... "I will be back.. "

Armaan walked outside to notice Devlin who stood waiting for him.. "Whats the news..? "

"He have killed Robin and Logan.. " Devlin spoke heavily...

"What !! " Armaan was stunned.. "Anyways where can I find him right now..?"

"Are you sure you wont to deal with this dude.. " Devlin asked hesitantly...

"I am sure.. " he spoke firmly.. "I have to make sure he can't cause any bad to my family.. they have already suffered enough.. "

"I understand.." Devlin nodded..

"I want you to wait here and keep an eye on my wife and kid.." he requested Devlin..

"But I want to go with you.. It is not safe ! " Devlin argued..

"I will be back.. " He promised.. "Just take care of them for me will you.. " He muttered sadly..

Shilpa sat heartbrokenly after he headed out of the airport.. She took a seat in the waiting area shaking badly... "Please Armaan.. Do comeback for me.. "

Armaan walked inside the abandoned house gripping the gun hard in his hand..He looked around trying to locate David. According to Devlin he was here.. Once and for all he had to bring a end to this charade.. Armaan thought determinedly..

"Welcome Mr.mallik... " Came a drawl behind him...

Armaan turned around to see David who stood pointing a gun a him... Instantly he took his gun pointing it at David.. "Two can play this game.. " He replied..

David smirked.. "Very good.. I would have more fun now to kill you... Why did you think.. You can run away after hitting me like that.. " He spoke scathingly... "No one hurts me and get away.. NO ONE !"

"Forget it David.. Your game is over.. " Armaan replied calmly...

"You think you can win from me.. ?? " David spoke bitterly.. "You have taken away my own brother from me.. "

"I didn't take him away.. " Armaan spoke quietly.. "You never valued him as your brother.. "

David saw red.. He leaped on Armaan and punched him hard.. "How dare you say that !!! "

"I spoke truth.. " Armaan replied wiping off blood from his nose... "You are such a bas***d David.. You can use anyone for your own use.. You even betrayed me.. I had such a nice life you ruined it !! "

"Yes I did.. " He gave a devil smile.. "So what.. Was there anyone you could have done to stop me.. You were just a puppet who followed my steps ! "

Armaan hit him hard and gripped his collar staring at him furiously... "I was never your puppet and never will be !! " He announced fiercly..

"Well we shall see that.. " With that the fight began..

"Where are you Armaan.. " Shilpa started to pace around in the waiting area.. Her eyes glued on the door.. Waiting to see him come.. "Please Armaan.. come soon.. " She started to pray..

Armaan knelt down and started to hit David hard.. Who was now moaning in pain.. He stood up and stared down at him... "You deserve this !! "

David suddenly stood up furiously and took the gun in his hand... "NO I DON'T !!! You deserve to be dead !! You have ruined everything for me.. My deal, My collegues.. even they are dead because of you !!! " David gripped the gun hard in his hand pointing it at Armaan's head.. "Now get ready to say goodbye to your wife and child in your heart.. Because you are going to fall dead in few seconds.. "

It was then Armaan realized his gun was lying far behind... He stared right at David as he smirked at him...

"Times up !!! "

Shilpa stood up as the final request for the Security check was announced.. With tears in her eyes she stared at the door.. What if he can't make it here.. What if something happened to him.. Once again she started to shake thinking about it...

"Please... Please god keep him safe.. " She whispered crying..

Shilpa turned around staring down at her sleeping son as tears fell from her eyes... She knelt down defeated when suddenly...

"Shilpa .. "

She snapped her head at the direction of the door.. Armaan slowly came towards her in slow pace.. His head had a ugly bruise while his nose bled.. But the smile on his lips made her sigh in relief..

With a sob of relief she ran towards him hugged him tight... He fell a step back and laughed.. And gripped her tight and she started to cry uncontrollably..

"I thought.. I thought you can't make it... I was so scared.. I didn't want to lose you again.. " She spoke in between her tears..

Armaan smiled and kept caressing her back.. "Don't worry.. I am here.. We can finally leave this place.. Its over darling.. Its over.. "

Shilpa cleared her tears and touched his bruise.. He flinched in pain.. "You are hurt ! "

He gave a smug look.. "But alive.. "

"I am so happy Armaan.. But what happened.. "

He sighed.. "I nearly died.. He had the gun pointed right on my head.. And then.. "

Flashback

"Not so Soon brother.. " Devlin's voice came from behind.. David turned around to see Devlin who stood in the doorway with a gun in his hand..

"Devlin ! What the hell are you doing ??? " David questioned furiously...

"Let me ask you.. What the hell are you doing brother.. You cant kill him.. " he gripped the gun firmly.. "If you even try I will kill you... "

"No you cant !! I am your brother.. "

"What brother.. " Devlin spoke bitterly... "A brother who hardly glanced at me ? This man who was Steve for an year took care of me whenever I stumbled.. He treated me as a real brother.. How can you ask that question to me.. "

"Your game is over David.. " Armaan spoke firmly.. "Drop the gun and surrender... "

"Let it go Brother.. " Devlin spoke heavily... "I have called police they are arriving in a minute.. There is nothing you can do.. "

"Ofcourse there is things I can do.. " David turned back to Armaan.. "I can always kill this jerk! "

Before he could fire the gun David fired the gun, Devlin shot his gun firing it on his leg.. David let out a cry and fell down... Devlin quickly picked his gun from his hand... "I could have killed you.. But since you are my blood brother I would rather not make my hands dirty by killing you.. "

As Police arrived Devlin slowly explained to them the whole incident.. He turned to Armaan and said.. "I can deal with this stuff.. You should leave your wife and kid is waiting for you.. "

Armaan smiled and Devlin.. He hugged him "I would never forget this Devlin.. You are my real brother.. I am so glad I met you.. "

Emotions clogged inside Devlin.. "Same here Armaan Dude.. Even if you were Steve you were always kind to me.. Today you have shown me the correct path.. I would try to bring myself to be a better man than this people.. "

"That's like a good boy.. " Armaan ruffled his hair.. "So what do you plan to do ? "

Devlin shrugged.. "Go back to London.. try to make myself a better man.. Then I guess I can get hot chicks even.. " He winked..

Armaan laughed and hugged him once again.. "Thank you so much Devlin.. Don't forget me.. "

"Don't forget me too Steve.. You will always remain Steve for me.. Always.."

Flashback Ends..

Shilpa sighed and hugged Armaan as the flight took off.. They were leaving behind all their troubles.. Heading back to their home.. Their real life...

"Is the nightmare really over.. " Shilpa spoke in wonder..

Armaan smiled while shifting Arav who was sleeping on his chest.. "It is.. We can once again get back to our real life.. "

"I am so happy Armaan.. I love you so much.. " She kissed him...

Armaan hugged her close and whispered.. "I love you too.. And from now we start our new life.."
