Arnav and Khushi's friendship was blooming in the mean time, he knew her being Arnav... and he promised himself he'll tell her everything soon, how? He didn't know!

It was usual day when Khushi came at 7 pm at night to AR press office; Arnav was looking at Khushi's scarf which he had pulled from her neck on their very first meeting. He saw her entering the office and giving some documents to Catharine and her few employees. He had promised her to come for checking few documents she needed to publish later morning. Aman had returned Isis and Khushi came in Arnav's cabin which was joined with hers. She found Arnav keeping something in his desk hurriedly.

She smiled: "you can do your work Arnav, it's only me, and I won't see it" she said and smiled.

"I wasn't hiding" he lied and looked her as she dumped her bag on table.

"Night shift??" he asked and she hmm-ed.

"so what's in bag??" he asked.

"Comfort food *showing him snacks* comfort footwear *showing him her slippers* and comfort music *shows him cd's*" and smiles.

Arnav smiled at her preparation and enthusiasm for work. Just then her laptop beeped with new mail and she shrieked: "uhh oo, looks like there is major fire in midway train line" Khushi said getting up and keeping her stuff properly to sit and work, Arnav stood up hearing fire and went to her.

"Khushi I'll get some coffee before we start work, wait I'll bring it" he said and went away.

"This is what I love about you Arnav, I say fire you say food..." but even she would have completed her sentence, Arnav whooshed and returned again.

"uhh! Very fast" Khushi said and crunch her nose as of smelling something "do you smell smoke??" she asked Arnav.

"nope" he said innocently as Khushi's laptop beeped again to deliver new mail. She looked in her laptop while Arnav wiped the black ash on backside of his hand...to his suit which had came there when he put off the fire just a second ago.

"looks like the fire went out...wow all thanks to the savior." She said and her smile widen, even she knew he betrayed her but she was happy that he was helping the peoples out there.

"this man is something" she said as Arnav sipped his coffee. "Look we were talking on coffee and he put the fire out in three seconds out"

"Few seconds" Arnav corrected and Khushi looked at him. "not that anyone is counting" he added.

"yaa" she said and Arnav showed her new mail which came in her inbox.

"Someone is robbing the bank" he showed her and Khushi looked in the laptop, taking the good opportunity Arnav blew air from his mouth making her hot coffee turn cold.

Khushi sipped the coffee reading her mail and turned to Arnav: "Arnav"

"hmm" he asked innocently.

"the coffee is ice cold...never mind I'll get myself" she said with smile and went away. Arnav sighed and whooshed out to save the bank!

Two weeks had passed. Khushi once got a message from the savior that he won't be able to meet her for few months as he needs to go out with some work. Although Khushi confessed herself that she didn't care at all but she felt his absence very much.. though she was touched by his behavior that he messaged her before leaving..she didn't know what had happened with him since that night..and she used to miss him every night very badly until one night she got a call from Arnav..

"Khushi what are you doing??"

"preparing to sleep" Khushi said.

Her friendship with Arnav was really bloomed a lot...she knew him and his moods and now had started to know that he was the rude ASR which the world see..but was a soft prankster and extremely protective friend. He had shown her many fashion designs which he made the last week and also asked her opinion for what she laughed on him as she ever bothered for getting dressed up...

They had gone to the savior's new edition ceremony together where Jeff and Amy were also invited. Khushi had worn red... his favorite color which made him go in his dream land and Aman had to pinch him hard for not losing focus.

Later night they both had danced on the dance floor and he was about to kiss her when Aman called him accidently but that broke their spell and both landed in present. He apologized her heartily which she accepted.

Arnav used to take her to their favorite lake often in these two weeks.. they shared their memories of childhood.. Arnav told her about his di and jiju and also he came to know how she met Amy and how Jeff treats her like his sweet little sister!

While sultan had meeting with Jeff and it was more than best he thought. He and Aman were on mission to save Khushi from Aslan and save Aslan from Arnav!!

Arnav smiled and said: "Khushi if you are not planning to call of the night soon can you just come down your apartment??"

Khushi came in her balcony and saw him.. he was in a skinny jeans and red jumper with black coat on it..looking as handsome as always.

Arnav waved her from down and said: "will u come its getting chilly here out"

Khushi saw the watch and said: "Arnav I would love to but Jeff won't like.. I know he won't say no but..." she trailed off.

Arnav knew her: "in that case I have already talked with Jeff.. he has said yes and in fact he is on his way here to give Amy company! Now please hurry lady"

Khushi smiled and said: "wait I'll be down in ten minutes."

Khushi came in hall to meet Jeff and Amy.

Amy grinned: "my my my Khushi... going on a date.. are we??" *winks*

Khushi: "shut up Amy it's not a date *looking at Jeff* Jeff I'll..

Jeff smiled and placed a kiss on his forehead: "relax I have talked with him and even warned him if he made you cry I'll not leave him *Khushi's mouth opened while Amy gasped* hey I did right you're my sister"

Jeff winked and said: "plus I'll get my time with Amy"

Amy went red as Khushi and Jeff burst in laugh. Arnav felt his heart warm as he saw Khushi happy with her new family.. she smiled and said night to both Amy and Jeff and ran to Arnav.

"hii" she said as he took her hand and led her to his car. She looked like a doll indeed thought Arnav.

"where are we going?" Khushi asked him.

Arnav drove to the environs of metropolis and parked his car on the side of road. He went and opened the door for Khushi..

"come"

"Arnav where are we??"

"Khushi hurry now.." he took her hand and pulled her to the edge of the crag and said; "look.."

There were fireworks in the city as the fair was still going on and at such night they looked breathtaking from the cliff...away from the city which resided at bottom of the crag and the lights illuminating all over the city making it look as if the stars have settled down the earth!!

"it's beautiful Arnav!" Khushi said gasping at the marvelous sight in front of her.

"yes it is really very beautiful" Arnav said looking at Khushi's glowing face.

Khushi saw him as he said this and understood what he meant..Despite of her will she blushed. She didn't knew where its right or not but she felt she would deceive her mid night guy if she end up making a relation more than friends with Arnav. As however from her heart she still loved her mystery man a lot!

Arnav read her thoughts and felt immense respect for her.. he didn't knew what he was doing but he felt shame on himself for not telling her his truth when she deserved it!

He tucked her hair and said: "relax" making her comfortable and both of them saw the fireworks with a merry time. Khushi was sitting beside him leaning on his shoulder..

It was when he felt her all weight on him and saw her and found her asleep..he picked her up and unknowingly dropped her cell on the ground. He kept her in the car and went to pick it..and came back to get the shock of his life as she was not in the car..

"khushii" he shouted and heard her muffed sounds through the bushes. He knew if he went and saved her like this she'll know him so he went forward and turning in to the savior he pulled her out of the bush ..with bruises on her hands and a bleeding lip.

"Khushi are you ok?? What happened??" but she fainted in his arms before saying: "you came"

he took her to the car and dropped her down on the ground and ran to the man who tried to attack her.. he signaled sultan and found him there in minutes. Sultan said to return back to Khushi while he chased the person..

Khushi came to senses when she felt Arnav patting her cheeks again and again and sprinkling water on her face..

"Khushi are you ok??" Arnav asked.

"yes.. I.. I am fine..where is he.." Khushi asked.

"who? and how you went there??" he asked.

"Arnav I ..I saw the savior and thought he called me but when I got down the car a man pulled me and shut my mouth with his hands.. and I don't know what happened next.. I smelled a very different cologne and it made me feel dizzy later I found myself in saviors arms before I fainted.

Arnav hugged Khushi and said: "thank god he saved you.. what had happened if I had lost you."

"Arnav I am fine...where are we??"... Khushi asked breaking the hug.

"in front of your home. Jeff is coming to open door, I called him." Arnav said and they got out the car.

Khushi said: "Arnav relax I am ok.."

Arnav smiled and thought for a while and said: "good night" as he heard the door opening.

Khushi turned to go but Arnav in nick moment pulled her and said: "thank god your safe Khushi" he broke hug and wiped the blood by his thumb, Khushi felt unknown shivers but she didn't knew Arnav just healed her lip by just his touch!

"Arnav, relax. I am fine hmm" she said and waved him bye. She came in house, Amy was watching TV.

"Khushi are you ok??" Jeff asked.

"yes Jeff.. I am sleepy" she said.

"how was your date??" Amy asked.

"Amy, it was not date" she said.

"guys I have to go...I have to write new post tomorrow on savior" she said and stood up but Jeff called her..

"Khushi, don't take me wrong...but I am happy you stopped thinking about savior now, your happy aren't you??" Jeff asked.

Khushi smiled and remembered her time with the savior. She turned to Jeff and as if in trance said "I was not talking with him for work only Jeff...not only be on top, I don't know but I wanted to be with him... I was feeling as if he is everything I want, but it's not true. I am glad I am not thinking same anymore" Khushi sand smiled "I am alright now. Good night both of you" she said and went to sleep.

Jeff thought on Khushi's answer and mentally promised himself to speak with Khushi.

"looks like her date was perfect!" Amy said yawning.

"hmm lets sleep.." Jeff said and pulled her to him picking her up and going to bed.

Khushi couldn't sleep...he had saved her again...what was wrong with him she would never know! Her behavior with Arnav was all together other matter! She was so confused and had no answers!

Tossing and turning she slept. It was about midnight when she heard her cell buzzing.

"mm who the hell is calling me at this time??" she murmured and saw it was Arnav who was calling her.

"Arnav?" she called.

"khu...

"he is about to die miss reporter, get over the blue nights club road now, or find your Arnav's dead body by morning" a hard voice said and hung up.

"hello...what the...who are you...Arnavvv!!!" Khushi called and jumped out of her bed. Not wanting to disturb Amy and Jeff she went out by the backside and ran to the blue night's club road in her car, as soon as she reached there...

"Arnav" she called running out on the empty road but fear gripped her as she saw Paul standing in front of her.

"hello again... Khushi" he said and came to her.

"where is Arnav" she asked.

"ohh oo claws of yours always turns me on Khushi" he said and tried to touch her.

"you lied?? How did you even got Arnav's phone??"

"I'll tell you sweetheart *pauses and whispers* after having my ways with you..." He said but Khushi pushed him tightly.

He pulled her: "na naah, not this time." He said and grabbed her wrist trying to pull her behind him but was stopped as they saw a shadow in the corner.

"didn't the girl said leave her??" while they saw the shadow, Khushi saw Arnav in front of them...running to them...

"Arnav!" Khushi said and wriggled out of Paul's arms but he didn't leave her.

"leave from here Raizada." Paul said looking at Arnav.

Just then white smoke surrounded them and Khushi felt herself being picked by someone, she was not in her sense to think who he was but when she felt herself being placed on bed she saw Arnav...

"are you ok Arnav"

"shh, Khushi I am ok, you need to sleep" he said making her sleep and close her eyes.

Khushi caught his hand: "your safe??" she asked.

"I am safe Khushi, sleep" he said and kissed her just beside her lips making her gasp and open her eyes. But he was gone...as if it was dream...but she felt it same...the kiss was same...even though it was mere brush of his lips but she can't forget them...

"Jeff!!! Amy!!!" Khushi called as she came out of her room.

"Khushi your not well, sleep sweetheart" Amy said and took her in bed.

"did Arnav...

"he just went. We'll speak later ok?" Amy said and kissed Khushi's forehead n went out.

"relax Amy, Khushi is safe" Jeff consoled her.

"I know, but I don't want that savior near Khushi, she gets hysterical Jeff, it's better she is with Arnav and not that unknown man!" Amy said while Jeff kissed her forehead and whispered he'll make everything alright!

Khushi couldn't sleep...she was shocked... Khushi was damn shocked... her heart was thudding... she knew it was Arnav...and Arnav was him!!

"its him..it's you.. OHH MY GOD..Arnav!! Ohh my god!!"

Khushi lied on her bed thinking about the few moments ago.. and then she remembered...

"all those things fit perfect"

Khushi gasped: "OHH MY GOD!! Khushi HOW CAN YOU BE SO NELECTED? YOU STUPID FOOL!" Khushi said to herself before sitting on bed in utter shock.

She pulled out the feather and then her laptop and called Catherine.

"Cat I am so sorry to disturb you at this hour but can you mail me the recent statements which you took of those small kids whom the savior saved??"

"its alright Khushi mam.. I'll mail you ASAP"

"thank you" Khushi replied and soon got the mail...she searched frantically and stopped at a point where her eyes were about to pop out of their sockets..her hands moved on her mouth and she whispered: "hey Devi maiyya!!!"

Arnav was rolling the paper weight in his cabin thinking deeply about last days events and how he kissed Khushi after such long time..he didn't knew what she'll think of him but he felt very afraid that she might break their friendship.. he thought about the person attacking on her and sultan's reply which he got that night..he remembered.."it was from the dark-side Arneus..be careful.. take care of her coz HE IS BACK!"

Arnav felt very vulnerable but he was determined to find the person anyhow but first his priority was Khushi.. Paul was his target but right now...he was thinking about calling her when a man in his 70's entered in!

"look sire you can't enter here like this" Aman ran behind him stopping him to get in there.

Arnav stood up...his eyes on the man.

"Lionel??" Arnav said with confusion on his forehead.

"hello Arneus.. after such a long..how are you??" Lionel said calmly.

"ASR please calm down" Aman said.

"Aman! Relax I am not going to eat your ASR and Arneus sit down.. you know I am changed now" Lionel said and smiled.

"Aman..can you just handle the meeting today?" Arnav said.

"sure ASR..but..

"I'll be fine" Arnav said and Aman went out only to get bumped with Khushi!

"ouch"

"aaa"

"Khushi!! Are you alright??" Arnav ran to her. Lionel saw this and smiled. When he saw Khushi his eyes got moist.. "Jesus..she's same. That means I am almost on time!!"

"yes ASR..i am alright I need to talk with you now"

"Khushi Gupta" Khushi said.

"hello Khushi" Lionel greeted her sweetly by kissing back of her hand: "sorry to disappoint you but I just need ten minutes with ASR..will you allow me??"

Arnav looked angrily at Lionel who was well aware of his stares. Khushi sensed Arnav's anger and before Aman could speak she said: "sure sir.. you carry on*turning to Arnav* well Arnav I'll go with Aman." She practically pulled Aman before Arnav could shout or stop her and made Arnav more angry.

He pulled Lionel in the cabin and said: "what the hell!! What are you doing here?? Wait a minute how are you even here?? I remember we had destroyed you last time. *thinking and getting shocked* you're here again to destroy these people?? Well you can have me if you left all these workers "

Lionel smiled and said: "ohh don't worry.. I am only here for YOU! *smiles seeing Arnav's expression* I want to SLOW THINGS DOWN making sure that you can SOAK in these special moments!!"

Arnav angered held Lionel by his collar: "and what's so SPECIAL about this moment??"

Lionel pulled out Arnav's hands and said: "this is the moment when your LIFE changes FOREVER!!"

Before Arnav could say something Lionel caught his hand and within a WHOOSH of moment both vanished from the cabin!! As if they were never there before!!
