When Khushi woke up next morning...she felt wonderful... she knew that midnight guy was a true...not her dreams neither her vision. She remembered how he kissed her and sang sweet lull to make her sleep. Although she feared that when Jeff will come to know about her's and the midnight savior's sweet time...how will he react? She knew very well...Jeff was very rude to who so ever tried to harm her or get near her. Maybe she owes a big explanation to her best friend Amy and also Jeff...whom Khushi considered her brother!

As Khushi got out she found the note, rose n his feather. Excitedly she took the rose and smiled fondly at him before opening the letter and..

"Khushiii" Amy called her. Khushi went over the corridor of her room from where she could see in the hall.. Amy was all dressed in her office dress and Jeff was with her.

"Coming Amy...will be down soon" Khushi said.

"I am going office...make sure you have breakfast before going AR ok??" Amy said.

"hmm fine...bye...cya in evening" Khushi said.

"love you by honey" Amy said and went.

"take care Khushi...have a nice day" Jeff said.

"thanks Jeff...same to you" Khushi said n went in her room n locked it.

Khushi wiped her tears... looking herself in the mirror she said.. "enough is enough now Khushi.. *looking at the crushed rose on the floor* what does he think of himself?? *sobs* He..he is using you damn it...he don't even love or care for you.. you are just...just vagrant type girl for him...whom he think he can use and then throw off.. *sobs* but no..never..i won't ever ever will give him what he wants.. *wipes her tears* I'll never allow him near me now..i just..just hate him.. *looking at the window* understood you mister savior..I HATE YOU" Khushi sat down and cried..till her cell buzzed.

Wiping her tears she attended the call.

"I'll be in office in half hour aman" she said n cut the call.

In office aman wondered what happened to Khushi?

"aman?? U ok??" Arnav asked.

"ASR?"

"hmm??"

"what did you do to Khushi last night?" Aman asked narrowing his eye.

"WHHAT??" Arnav choked the water he had sipped. "what you mean??" Arnav asked hiding his smile as he remembered the kisses he shared with Khushi!

Unable to notice his smile Aman said.. "I mean..she sounded very worried..and also angry u know like..

"ASR" Lavanya came in and aman stopped.

"I'll get with you later ASR" aman said n went away leaving Arnav in surveillance...coz he was thinking what might happened with her?? He thought she'll be happy after reading the note... but aman said she's angry?? "what the??" he thought!

"Maybe she might have not seen the note...hmm this could be possible" Arnav thought.

"ASR?? ASR.. *tapping his shoulder*

"what the hell??" Arnav shouted.

"what happened Lavanya...how many times I told you...stay in a considerable distance from me...you are not my girlfriend to be this close" Arnav shouted.

"ASR..i thought *feeling low* ..we are...

"what you want??" Arnav asked.

"your signs on these documents" lavanya said.

"hmm..you go..i'll check them n will later call you" Arnav said shooing away la who was very disappointed.

As Lavanya came down she bumped with Khushi.

"Jesus! You Gaga watch over" Khushi said picking her files and papers.

"miss Khushi my name is la and call me mam la, second its not a mall where you can run round!" lavanya said fuming.

"ohh hello miss think to be great! Whatever your name is..lala, gaga or anything..i don't give a damn! And second..forget me calling you mam..now move" Khushi shoved la and went upstairs.

"come" Khushi heard as she knocked the doors.

As Khushi saw him working on his laptop she felt unknown pull. Brushing off her thoughts she came to reality as she saw he didn't had his glares on today,

"good morning sir" Khushi greeted Arnav politely in expectation to make him look at her.

"morning" Arnav said n motioned her to seat.

"sir.. about the first edition..is there any correction needed??" Khushi asked looking at Arnav making herself remind that she need to work.. tried to forget the later moments which Khushi shared with the savior!

"hmm they were good. I read them. Great job" Arnav said..who was Puzzled by her behavior.

"thanks" Khushi replied.

"Khushi..i'll send few files to you through aman..check them. You got a great fan support just due to the launch of magazine" Arnav said.

"Really?" Khushi asked excitedly forgetting that she cried this morning for some time.

"hmm..really n make a web page for the savior and make sure u'll check it regularly." Arnav said.

"sir.. me??" Khushi asked.

"yes..you" Arnav said n saw her looking in her eyes.

As Khushi saw him she felt different... "Aqua color" she thought.

"you are the chief reporter and get back to work..u'll have to go in an hour" Arnav said getting back to work.

"to go?? *puzzle* where??" Khushi asked.

"to the field work..he was seen last night in the surrey street" Arnav purposefully said that as he knew Khushi lived in surrey street. Looking at her face he could well define that she was hurt..but why??

"umm ok sure" Khushi said n took his leave. As she went in her cabin Aman entered in Arnav's room.

"Arnav? Is everything ok??" Aman asked.

"I don't know aman...she was hurt n was thinking to stay away from me..i mean..you know which me" Arnav said.

"yea I got that from her voice only..but the point is what made her think that??" aman said.

"aman..

Arnav was about to say something when his hand shined. "what the!" Arnav murmured.

"what happened Arnav?" aman asked.

"someone needs me"

"what?? *almost shocked* at this time??"

"stupid..in the Isis" Arnav said showing aman the mark on his hand glowing.

"great..no wonder it must be di" aman said.

Arnav smiled n said.. "I'll have a look on Khushi..n will go Isis once..u handle here" Arnav said.

"hmm ok.." aman said went on his work.

In Khushi's cabin she was working constantly but was not able to concentrate..

Last night's events were running in her mind as a replay of any movie.

"baas kar Khushi..kaab tak aapne aap ko samjhai gi??" Khushi told herself. Arnav was about to enter her cabin when he heard herself talking.

"he is gone..and left you..he is also a man..who can never change..damn it..its me..who was crazy to feel that..that the stupid savior feels for me..humph" Khushi said to herself but stopped as she saw her cell buzzing.

"hello?"

"Jeff..what happened?? U ok??" Khushi asked tensing up...arnav heard her.

"ok..but till what will you return??.. *pauses* "hmm ok..i'll try...take care...come home safe" Khushi put her cell n sat in her chair with hands on her head.

The door opened and Arnav entered...khushi didn't saw him.

"miss gupta??" Arnav called her.

"ASR..I mean sir?? What happened??" Khushi asked stumbling n getting up..she tripped in her heels and was about to fall over the desk when Arnav held her..

"careful" he said.

Khushi held his hand and was frightened..she instantly saw him.. "sea blue??" she thought

"u ok?" Arnav asked leaving her.

"err..umm yea..yes..thanks" Khushi said trying to make her mind calm.

"here.. *handing over the files* I am going for a meeting. Make sure you complete this job and also get the field work done" Arnav said n turned to go not getting her response he said.. "is it clear miss Gupta??"

"yes..yess..everything is clear..i'll get it done sir" Khushi said.

Arnav went away n Khushi sat in her chair.. "ur crazy Khushi.. but.. but am I thinking right..?? is he?? ..*wonders* .. no.. no..*nodding head in no* ur mad..to much thinking of savior..leads this sickness..whoosh..*breathing deeply* Amy was right.. I am dreaming about him a lot these days. *sighs* relax Khushi" she made herself calm n started her work..

She stopped and held her fists below her chin n said.. "sea blue??" she sat there wondering deeply!

Isis:

"chotte..where were you??" Anjali asked.

"is everything ok di??" Arnav was concerned.

"Cerelia.. let him breath first. Arneus..you got to see this" sultan said

"whats it sultan??" Arnav was now worried.

"have a look *hands over a paper to Arnav* Arnav was very angry after reading.. his blue feather mark on his forehead was getting visible indicating his rage!

"who did this??" Arnav barked.

"we don't know Arnav.. but we have to be careful now..very very careful." sultan said.

"ur right sultan... chotte.. you need to guard her now..she's in danger..this mark means she is on the aim of..

"Dark -side!" Arnav completed his sister's words.

"that's why she was swearing herself to stay away from me..and also she was disturbed." Arnav reminded Khushi's behavior.

"what you mean??" Ajinkya asked.

"I mean last night I wrote a note for her.. saying I'll visit her soon.. I thought she'll be happy..but she was angry and frustrated this morning..and also aman felt her behavior changed a lot. Someone had gone there after me.." Arnav said.

"yes Arnav.. but who will be that someone?? You need to find" sultan said.

"I think I know..just want to make sure." Arnav said n flew away!

The next day was as usual, Arnav was in deep thoughts about the chit. He though had one person in his mind but he wanted to make sure that his instincts are true, that's when Lavanya came in and he engrossed himself in work. About half an hour later his cabin's door opened...

"ASR..uhh.. I'll come later.." Khushi came n stopped as she saw Arnav and Lavanya discussing on certain matter.

"Khushi wait!" came a firm call. Khushi turned and saw Arnav. "come in, we are almost done.. Lavanya check the funds and inform me."

"sure ASR" Lavanya fumed at Khushi's unexpected entry and went away.

Once in the room Khushi came near Arnav and said.. "I checked the area and had my survey. These are the reports and statements of the victims whom he had saved on various incidents"

Arnav checked the file firmly and saw Khushi once before hmm-ing as to approve her work. She saw him and thought.. "WHAT THE!! BOTTLE GREEN??"

Arnav sensed her discomfort and asked.. "are you ok??"

"huh??"

"you ok??"

"Haan..hmm I am fine.. Sir...I mean ASR, can I ask you something??" Khushi said fidgeting her scarf.

Arnav getting up from his place and fixing his coat he moved to her: "sure..what??"

"you.. you.."

"Khushi I don't have time for all day.. ask me fast!!" Arnav growled.

"do...do you use lenses???" Khushi asked nervously.

Arnav confusingly asked: "WHAT??"

Khushi: "don't... don't start what the.. what the now.. I.. I saw your eyes yesterday morning they were aqua color.. then later again when I gave you the files yesterday..they were sea blue and now.. today they are bottle green!! Do you... Do you use the lenses??" Khushi asked in frighten tone. She was confused and wanted a suitable explanation from him for her queries.

"what the!!" Arnav was shocked, he was unable to believe that Khushi could observe him this much that his identity got on stake!! He tried to say something but unable to say he shrugged his shoulders and went away murmuring "whatever!"

But Khushi was shocked on his behavior she had her mouth open in full O shape and was statue. It was Aman who came and closed her mouth saying.. "Khushi...we do have mosquitoes in air"

"Amanji!"

"Khushi.. I am just 27!! Don't call me Amanji and sound old dear.. or beautiful girls won't come near me!!" Aman joked trying to make her smile!!

Khushi smiled weakly but didn't say anything. Aman was shocked but he knew she must be upset for the letter yet he asked.. "Khushi what happened?? You again fought with ASR??" Aman asked picking up some files.

"no.. I think asking question to that laad governor is futile! Never mind.. my shift is finished. I have paper work.. I'll do it at ho..*but she stopped and said after pause* I am in my cabin." and went away.

"ohh god.. looks like Khushi is still upset with Arnav...heck that man is not even ready to tell me what is his plan!" Aman said and came out of Arnav's cabin when Khushi banged him again.

"ouch"

"aa"

"Khushi careful what happened?? Aman asked.

"wo...sorry Aman-ji...my bag and file remain inside" Khushi said and went in.

"gosh... ASR chose a lady just like him!!" Aman said and went off!

Khushi took her purse and file and was about to leave when she saw something bluish black near the chair. She went forward and gasped in shock!!

Arnav slammed the door of sultan's cabin and said.. "Ajinkya.. I am sorry but I need few minutes with you"

Sultan excused himself from his meeting and rushed behind Arnav..he knew something was serious.

"Arneus why ..whaaa

"she almost caught me" Arnav exhaled and said.

"WHAT?? WHO?? HOW??" Ajinkya fired the questions.

"Khushi.. she caught the color change of my eyes in the sun rays." Arnav said and buried his face in his hand.

Arnav saw up as he heard a loud THUMP and found Ajinkya on the floor as he burst out laughing! He was shaking as he couldn't control his laughter.

"sultan!!!" Arnav alleged... "r u ok?? Why are you laughing damn it??"

Controlling his laugh Ajinkya said, "Arnav..you... I want to meet Khushi as soon as possible. She's very smart that she caught you in so quick time. I must say you found someone like yourself...maybe she's clever that even you" and he giggled again.

"SHUT UP and say me what should I do?? Damn it I forgot to wear glasses too when I knew she was there!" Arnav said fuming.

Sultan raised his brows and asked: "were you trying to say me that you wear glasses even in ur cabin in front of her?? *shocked * eww, how tacky!!"

Arnav was fuming and sultan's comments made him even worse: "obliviously...and you leave your tacky sense and help me"

Sultan made him sit and said: "look Arneus...your capable to handle almost everything but it does not mean you won't get caught! I had never thought she'll get it this soon...although she doesn't know the reason...but she really has sharp instincts and grasp...no wonder she's top reporter!! And yes.. She has to know who you are before she can be with you forever...since we found out that she is on the aim of the dark-side...we have to let her know that her midnight man and her boss ASR are one only!"

Arnav looked at sultan and said: "what's the point?? Shall I tell her directly that the man who sneaked through her curtains at night is none but me!!?? She'll kill me on the spot!"

Sultan stiffed his laugh: "nope... I am not saying you to go and say her who you are but drop hints since now so that she can believe you as Arnav and also as Arneus. I mean *winks* her midnight guy!"

"so should I not meet her as Arneus?? I mean It'll make things worse.." Arnav asked rolling the paper weight on sultans' table.

"that's is what you'll have to do..YOURSELF! but yes you have a point...stop meeting her as Arneus.. we have to find out who's the actual person behind the chit change mystery. And till then be as Arnav...not as ASR! The one who shouts all the time! Be with her as a friend and hopefully...make her realize how good are you ..

"...remaining I got it sultan...please don't start over again!!" Arnav said standing up.

"Hey!! I was not the one to come to you... grumpy boy!" sultan scowled as Arnav went out of the office.

while in arnav's cabin:
"what the!!" Khushi was shocked and embarrassed as she just used Arnav's words and that too in his cabin. But she controlled and took out her scarf from Arnav's desk and saw it..

Khushi to herself: "this scarf... how it came here?? Its mine!! And *thinking and remembering* OHH MY GOD!! It was with the savior...her had pulled it on our first meeting!!

***flashbacks***

"leave me..please" she said tears were formed in her eyes now.

"I'll get my answer doll..till then be a free bird." He said n almost very softly brushed his lips on hers..pulled her scarf n smiled n flew away!

****flashbacks end***

Khushi was so shocked that she couldn't get what was happening. The scarf was with him?? How it came here?? She thought may be ASR found it as a evidence from some spot where the midnight man could have dropped it.. yes this could be possible.. Confused on the thought she said herself : "I'll have to find out.. ASR is strange as midnight man! He didn't even answered me properly about his eye color..and now this scarf.."

Khushi heard few movement out and quickly kept the scarf as it is and took her bag and stood.

"what are you doing here?? Your still here??waiting for answer??" Arnav asked shocked.

"no..i am not that mad to wait for your answers when I know you won't give me. I left my purse behind so I came. Laad governor!" Khushi muttered and moved to the door but Arnav pulled her back..

"what ?? You called me what??"

"laa *suddenly Khushi's gaze reached his wrist she saw some dark black craving..she thought maybe it's a tattoo but her thoughts stopped as she felt jerk. He left her and shouted : "your work is over??"

"huh??"

Arnav raised his brow and she realized what he was asking, fumbling with words she said: "yes..all over..i am going to write the paper work" she tried to move but her called..

"Khushi"

Her name he said in such a way that for an instant she felt that midnight man called her but remembering last night's events and his letter she brushed his thoughts aside and said: "yes??"

"go home and do that work there...your tired ,aren't you??" Arnav said.

Khushi turned to see him...what happened to him?? Was he the same rude man or has bees got over his head?? But she found him facing the window as his back faced her. Disappointed by his gesture she slowly mumbled ok and left.

She needed time to make her mind right and also think properly. Amy was right...the midnight man has occupied her all senses that she was not able to think about anything else. Khushi thought she needed a cold shower now...

later night in Arnav's cabin:

"what the!!" as Aman blurted these words Arnav raised his brows to him.

"sorry ASR but I am still confused. What was that all?? I mean so was Khushi this angry!! But who'll change that chit? And Khushi... ASR look whom are you suspect...

...and Aman trailed off his face in shock and eyes most widen!!

"Aman speak fast!!" Arnav said as he didn't saw Aman's face. When he finally turned and saw Aman was in statuette figure with shocked expressions.

"Aman!!" Arnav shouted at last.

"huh?"

"What happened??" Arnav asked but Aman didn't spoke anything and gave the paper to Arnav and drank a complete glass of water before sitting in a nearby chair.

"Aman! Are you alright??" Arnav sat beside the chair next and asked.

"ASR.. ASR..see this" as Aman showed the chit to Arnav.

"I knew it... I always knew it. I am not going to leave Aslan!!" Arnav fumed before standing up and getting out of the office!

Aman stood up and saw upwards and said: "ammi..I am gonna need your help"
