Chapter 21

Khushi too looks at Arnav and gets lost in his eyes. They both come out of the trance after a while as Anjali snaps in front of their eyes snapping her fingers. Arnav looks at her and keeps looking at his sister. How beautiful and cute she is looking in a pink skirt and a black top, thinks Arnav.

Khushi: hain na? Di looks so cute like a baby in pink and blak. see di..I told you na?

Arnav: right..she looks like a baby but here, you are the baby giving her a teasing smile...

Khushi: makes puppy angry face and turns her face away from him.

Anjali smiles at Arnav seeing him trying to manofying his wife. Arnav tries to takes Khushi's hand in his but she takes her hand and moves little away. arnav tries again, but she does the same. After a while, Arnav takes his fingers and puts them on her chin and makes her look at him. First, Khushi doesn't look, but he makes her look at him and Arnav, gives her a flying kiss by his mouth. Khushi blushes and looks down shying away.

Anjali looks at them and smiles feeling satisfied by their relationshio and clears her throat.

Anjali: ahem ahem..

Arnav let's her hand go and looks at Anjali in embarrassment.

Anjali: if your mana is done, can we move ahead?

Arnav: smiles little and forwards his both hand to Anjali and Khushi. They both hold his hand, side by side and enter the park.

They sit in the park and remember all the memorable moments from their childhood. They talked and talked having fun and pulling each other's leg. Anjali, after a long time, talks about something else openly other than puja and religious things. For the first time, she is laughing and talking freely. She thinks how chote and Khushi brought her here and make her feel fresh and free from the all the burdens she have.

Khushi notices tears in her eyes and gets worried.

Khushi: di..what happened? why are you crying?

Anjali: nothing Khushi..it's just..

Khushi: cutting her...di..I am so sorry, if you didn't like the idea of coming her and being with me..she then, looks at Arnav and says..Arnavji, let's go..di didn't like this place, I..I made her cry..I am sorry..

Arnav: saw Khushi panicking..says, Khushi..relex..let her talk at least..

Khushi: huh?

Anjali: I am alright Khushi..I..I am not crying..it's just that I am so happy today. You know princess, for the the first time, after mumma's death, I am laughing whole heartily. I..I feel so fresh, free from the all burdens...You didn't not make any mistakes for bringing me here..In fact, I should be thankful to you and chote...

Khushi: no, di..you don't need to be thankful. I know how much you care about others..but, you never think of yourself...what about you? Don't you feel like, you also should do something in life? I mean to say, didn't you feel like to achieve something and be ASR..I mean Anjali Singh Rizada, like your chote?

Anjali: yes Khushi, I too had ambitious in my life to be businesswomen. I also, wanted to work in a big company.

Khushi: then, why didn't you join AR?

Arnav: snaps at khushi and says... khushi, wht are you saying? don't you know she is Anjali, ASR's sister. How can she work? Moreover, aren't you aware of her leg..that she cannot work in this condition?

Khushi: too snaps at him... what you mean how can she? This is the one problem that you think and treat di that she is abnormal and cannot do anything. Like I said before, please stop treating her like this. She is a normal like we are okay...she too can work and do everything like others..you leave it...don't talk between us...I mean don't interrupt us..it's between two girls..

Arnav gives her unbelievable looks to her, but Khushi ignores and turns to Anjali...

Khushi: di..you tell me...why didn't you join..I am sure this LG stopped you from doing what you wanted right?

Arnav: Khushiii

Anjali: Chote...

Arnav: but..di

Anjali: ignores him and turns to Khushi...no it's not like that..you know I wanted to work but not in AR. I wanted to work where my work can be appreciated on my own ability not because I am Anjali, ASR's sister. But when I thought to work, but all the burdens got on my shoulders after our parents' death. I had to take care of chote and everything. Then, I got married and my all attentions got diverted toward my husband and looking after the house. Days passed, chote started progressing and made AR company to the top. As days started passing, Arnav started getting successful and then, he refused me to do anything that increases my burdens that I already have.

Khushi: alright di, I got that it was circumstances, but what about now? I mean now you have two sister-in-law and mumma and all others to look after the house. I agree you should rest. but what about after the baby is born? I think you should work so that your mind can be freshen and you can go and enjoy outside of the environment.

Anjali thinks for a whie and looks at Khushi.

Khushi: look di..I am saying all this because you all day is stay at hime and worry for others unnecessary. If you go out and work, you also can enjoy yourself. You will also get to think about you and only you. After all you too have desires, dreams.

Anjali: You know Khushi..I am so lucky to have you. I think you are right. I should also work. Let me talk to others at home and we can discuss it with others.

Khushi: yeah di..there is no hurry, you can do whatever you want anytime. Anjali gets happy and hugs Khushi.

On the other hand, Arnav heard the whole conversation, but it seems like he didn't understand Khushi's motive behind all these and gets angry, but doesn't say anything front of Anjali.
