Part 8:

He knew the answer but he wanted to hear it from her...

She felt caught off guard and replied stammering, "aisa kuch nahi hai Arjun...usse bacchne keliye ek jhoot bola tha...aur kuch nahi"

Arjun stepped closer to her voicing huskily, "phir se ek jhoot...tum shaayad bhool gayi ke tum Arjun Rawte ke saamne jhoot bol rahi ho...sacch bolo ya phir...[leaning closer to her pale face]...mujhe sacch ugal waane ke aur bhi tareeqae aathe hai jo tumhe shaayad bohat mehanga padega Miss publicist! Samjhi ya samjhaavum?"

She slightly trembled at his glares but then what was he hoping for...did he think that he can scare her and get her to confess?? Well, that's not Sakshi Anand, ACP Arjun Rawte...She thought to herself...

She wasn't going to confess anything to him...she sternly spoke up, "agar sunna hi chahte ho toh sunnlo Arjun...its Neel, my best friend from college days...party mein bhi aaya tha...tum miley na usse..."

Arjun's heart felt a small crushing down when he heard her saying Neel's name...but then instantly, he knew that she was telling a lie...her big ego and stubbornness was never hidden to him...

Yes he was no better...he had his ego, mood swings and arrogance intact in its place...Wasn't it why he hadn't confessed yet to her and was expecting her to take the first step towards him...He stood facing her scrutinizing or trying to judge her expressions.

She didn't give up but added, "tumhe yakeen nahi ho raha, huh? Ussne aaj hi propose kiya..."

Arjun glared to her side and enquired sternly, "aur tumne kya jawaab diya?"

She mentally cursed him for that and thought to herself, "As if you don't know Arjun" but she spoke up a different version altogether, "Neel bohat sweet hai...ego ya arrogance bilkul nahi hai ussme...I think he is just perfect for me...So I will reply to him tomorrow...Woh mujhe kal shaam date pe le jaane waala hai...tab yes bol doongi...happy?"

Arjun replied with a sarcastic grin, "That means I have the whole night today and the day tomorrow"

She instantly asked puzzled by his irrelevant response, "matlab?"

He didn't reply but started walking towards her silently...his gaze was totally focused on her making her weak on her knees...

She didn't understand what he meant by that till he walked closer to her voicing, "matlab thodi dher mein samajh aa jaayega Miss Sakshi Anand..."

She stepped back when he was just a few inches away from her...

He was quick to hold her and keep her at the same place as he inched closer to her...her body trembled within his hold...She enquired stammering, "Arjun, yeh tum kya kar rahe ho?"

Arjun held her hand firmly with one of his hands and then took the other hand to her face...he pretended to tuck a loose strand of her wavy hair behind her ears...His fingers lingered on her ear lobes causing her to shudder in an explosive pleasure...She felt she would just crumble down senselessly...

She couldn't understand how a simple touch from him caused so many weird sensations inside her body...Her heart was thudding loudly...loud enough to be heard by her and perhaps to him too...

His hand was just warm but it made her feel all hot...she cursed herself that she couldn't push him away even though her logical mind screamed to her to do it...

Her thudding heart was fighting it out and was yearning more and more of his warm passionate touches...Just her lips kept muttering a no, but he could only hear the opposite from her craving heart...

Against her own will, she found herself bending her head sideways allowing him more access as he leaned to her and lightly kissed her ears...and then travelled down all through lingering his lips on her trembling soft skin...he took in her fragrance and also lapped up her taste driving her all the more frantic and on the verge of surrendering to him...

He settled for another peck on her neck and then her exposed shoulders...her over sized T shirt wasn't helping her at all...it was perhaps helping him to get more of what he wished for...the plunging neckline dropped off to a side and he placed a line of kisses from her neck to her upper arm...

She couldn't do anything to stop him except for lightly hitting his chest in an attempt to push him away but it was too weak for him...

She fainly whispered, "Please don't do this Arjun"...

He chuckled and replied against her skin teasing her endlessly, "don't do what Sakshi?"

Sakshi hissed at her own helpless and desperate state...she couldn't even suppress the blush that crept into her face stealthily...the conflict between her crazy insane heart and logical mind was taking a toll on her...her mind seems to be slipping away as well...The visible impact his kisses had on her gave him a high and a signal to go on...

He knew she wouldn't struggle now...so his other hand glided through her hands and reached the back of her head...he held her head in place as he moved up to her face...his finger trailed the outline of her lips while his lips covered her face with passionate urgent kisses...He gazed at her quivering luscious lips which were only inviting him to them...

The next moment, he would have claimed her lips but she blurted out all of a sudden stopping him from doing that, "Did you have dinner Arjun?"

Arjun knew that it was only to pass that moment away but then he couldn't help a smile at her innocent enquiring face...He replied, "Nahi" although all he wanted now was to grab her and crush her lips with his...Dinner was never on his mind at that moment but then he didn't want to force her for anything against her will!

She instantly moved away from him as she felt his grip loosen a bit...She enthusiastically responded, "phir chalo dinner karthe hai...I made something special just for you"

He could see that it was her way of escaping from their passionate encounters...He could have stopped her but he was also eager to know what she had made just for him...that by itself was an indication of the secret that her heart treasured...the same secret which he wanted to hear from her!

Moreover, one of his purpose of visiting her now was to make her eat as well...so he let her have her way in this matter...

She quickly went to the kitchen and warmed the biryani once...He was just going to enter the kitchen when she quickly spoke, "tum wahaan table pe beito...I will come now..."

He grinned at her attempts to keep him away from her as much as possible...He could literally see his growing effect on her...her face still had the remnant blush and was yet crimson red...

He chuckled as he went back to the table...Once he left, she smacked herself for being so obvious...and then wiped off the sweat beads on her face...the tension and the passionate moments had left her breathless...she gulped in some cold water and also washed her face more than once as if to wash away his impact on her...She sank into the kitchen stool trying to calm her nerves!

Almost 10 minutes later, she brought the bowl of biriyani and by the smell and flavor, he could sense that it would be very tasty.

She served it onto his plate standing at a safe distance from him...and due to that, some of the rice spilled over the table cloth as well...He shook his head at her antics and grabbed her hand to bring her closer voicing naughtily, "I wont eat you Sakshi...Any day I would prefer biryani over you..."

She rolled her eyes in total disbelief at his sudden changed attitude and very different talks. His naughty romantic side, the passionate lover style, this teasing Arjun was totally new to her...She couldn't believe what she saw and heard...

Her hands were shivering under his hold and he left her abruptly sensing the shiver...

And then to switch that moment, he pulled a chair for her, "tum bhi beito...I know you haven't had dinner too"

She nodded and sat down quietly...Disobeying him or arguing with him was the last thing on her mind..."An angry Arjun Rawte was unstoppable"...she thought to herself as she disbelievingly gaped seeing him serving the food for her...She was forced to think, "Is he real or am I dreaming? Is he the same akdu ACP?"

He saw her gaping at him and took his hand to her and closed her mouth...She snapped out by that action of his...He could see her shocked and confused state...He smiled and voiced, "pehle khaalo...phir baat karenge...We have the whole night to talk Sakshi"

Saying that, he gestured her to eat...
