Chapter 11

Clarification:Guys Thanks for pointing out and I am glad that you came up with your POV for update.Many of you pointed that Taani's picture in her cabin was too much.Actually there were some reasons behind it.

1.Taani's cabin is attatched with Rey's cabin and she'd just work from there.Now she is partner of 51% shares but still she is very new to business world.So,She'll continue working under him only.So,Its obvious that no meeting would be conducted in her cabin.

2.As old aunties say,The child enherits the qulity of person whose image pregnant women sees the most.So,here Rey is arranging Taani's pictures everywhere so that HIS princess would become like her mother only.He have some insecurities also behind this decision.I would reveal it with story only.

I hope now your doubts are clear.If not then feel free to ask me.

Chapter 12: Jee Le Zara

She was struggling to sleep from past 15 minutes. She was craving to have her favourate butter scotch ice cream,right now,ten at night.

Her husband was still out for some important meeting and her mother in law is out to attend some wedding and she will return after mid night only.

And here she is lying down on her bed after coming back from office and having her dinner.

Many things changed in these past two months.

Now she attends office regularly.Her husband tried hard to make her wear some western clothes in which she would be more comfortable during pregnancy days but she was adamant to not let him win.

So,she just started wearing salwar-suits without dupatta ofcource.Her husband thinks that this piece of cloth is the root of all her clumsiness..He is afraid that she might trip over that long dupatta.

Along with her dressing her life style also changed,drastically.

She has to follow the time table made by her husband,though he deliberately lied that Sudha made it but She is not a fool to not understand.Only he is on this earth capable of making such a disasturous time table.He have made her life like she is some cadet in Army camp and he is the strict officer.

Her time table includes her waking up and sleeping time,which she never follows.Her food items which includes green vegetable and healthy food only,road side chaat is definitely not allowed to eat anymore. Her excercises,morning walk.Ahh the list is too long.

And one more thing also changed in these two months,Her bedroom.

Few days after changing her cabin they came to house when she got one more shock awaiting her.

Her husband changed their room too.It was a great shock for her.He shifted their all belongings in one of the room downstairs.The room was definitely much more beautiful than the previous one. Her big queen sixed bed in d middle of room and his sofa just beside the bed.Whole room painted with white and red colour and her beautiful pictures hanging on walls.But what shocked her was that one of their pic was hanging over the wall just behind headboard of bed.

My these solo pics will remind me that how alone I m in my life.

She remembered it from Swaron's babyshower.They both were having a heated argument at that time when Swayam clicked that picture. But she was confused that when did he got that picture from Swayam.

There was definitely no love dripping through their eyes in that picture but definitely there was something more powerful.Their passion for each other. They were definitely not looking like a perfect couple in so much love .They were not faking smiles to show the world that they are madly in love with each other but what was shown in pic was real.It was real them.

And that was the only reason she loved the pic instantly.

She dragged her legs towards kitchen.Her whole body was aching badly and there was no energy left inside her after a long day in office,But still her craving for her favourate ice-cream gave her strength to move forward.

As she again recalled that day a smile spread over her lips.She still remember her husband's words when her MIL tried to put some sense in his brain.

Sudha:"Reyaansh,There is no need to change your room so early"

Taani was sitting on bed of their new room and was watching this mother-son duo fighting over the matter of room.

Rey:"But Mom I don't want Taani to climb stairs in this condition "

He said determined to not lose this verbal fight.

Sudha:"Don't teach me.I am your mother and I carried you in my womb for 9 months.I know what is good for my daughter in her this state.She'd not be comfortable in new surrounding at early stage of pregnancy and It is quite good for health to exercise."

She said sitting beside Taani and kept a loving hand on Taani's head.

Rey:"For exercise she doesn't need to do up and down on stairs,I have appointed Mumbai's best trainer for Taani's exercise classes.And don't you remember when Sharon was pregnant you used to scold her for climbing on stairs."

He remembered faint memories of his mother scolding Sharon for climbing stairs to reach his room.

Sudha:"But Sharon was in her late stage of pregnancy.Ahhh..Forget it.Tujhe samjhana namumkin hai"

She said turning her face from him and showing him her back.Taani was having time to control her laughter.This mother-son duo was fighting like two stubborn kids and no one was asking her about her liking.

But her dam of control broke down when she saw Rey's face when Sudha turned her back to him.He was looking like a small kid who just lost his favourate toy.

And at that time she broke down in fits of laughter.She was laughing hard clutching her stomach and her laughter was echoing through whole house.

Sudha and Rey smiled looking at her laughing like there is no tomorrow.She was just presenting an imge of a carefree girl who she used to be before her marriage.Today after months Sudha saw that little girl in her daughter in law again.

In these two months her husband never let her do any house chores.As per his strict orders anything and everything she wish should be done in a blink of her eye.

"Taani,I know its unlike you to sit idle and do nothing but please tryin understand that you are very weak and doctor recommended you to take full bed rest for a week."

Those words he said when she was very week in starting of third month of her pregnancy.Doctor recommended her full bedrest and her husband took a leave from office and gave her leave too for whole one week.He was always beside her in that one week.

She smiled thinking abour those days.

"I dont want u to do my work, i've hired maids for this ..but u low class ppl are addicted to wrk...but this is not ur chowl. so atleast think abt my status."

Her smile vanished and a sudden pain gripped her heart as she got rminded of his words after a day of their marriage.That day she for the first time prepared something for him with her own and hands and he rewarded her with his harsh words.

She looked through refrigerator for her favourate ice-cream.Her heart was heavy and his hurtful words were still echoing in her ears.From past months she is trying hard to forget his words but thay are not ready to leave premises of her brain.

She felt dejected when she looked through whole place but her fav ice-cream was nowhere to be seen.Tears started forming in her eyes as her pregnancy hormones kicked on.She was confused behind the reason of her tears.They were mixture of hurt by her husbands words and helplessness of not getting her favourate ice-cream.

Rey was driving his car towards his house where his sweet wife must be sleeping till now with her favourate music turned on in their room.From past months its her habit to sleep while listening old songs of her favourate Kishore Da and Gazals of Jagjit singh.

And he asusual would sleep on sofa.In starting he had problems with her kind of music but now he is also used to it.He felt at peace while listening old gazals and songs and look at her angelic face till sleep took over him.

He was feeling some progress in their relation.Though she still stays aloof from him but her eyes definitely shows some feelings for him.

She have some feeling for him thats why she decided to live at their new room.She respected his concern.And for that his mother still teases him that his wife thinks about only him .He has done some magic spell on her.And his mother's teasings instead of irking gives him satisfaction that his wife chose him over everything else

He entered inside by opening the door through spare keys.He started moving towards his room but he saw kitchen's lights turned on.

He moved towards kitchen to have close look and there he saw his wife sitting there on dinning table and caressing her 3.5 months baby bump and shedding tears over some matter.

He felt a tug on his heart as he saw tears escaping through her eyes.He kept his laptop bag on couch in living room and made his way towards his wife.

Rey:"What happened? Why are you crying?"

He asked sitting on his knees beside her chair .She looked up thwough her tears.

Taani:"I don't want to talk to you.Leave me alone"

She said wiping her tears through back of her right hand.He got hold of her left hand which was kept on her lap.

Rey:"Taani please don't cry.Its not good for your and baby's health.Tell me did anyone said something to you"

He asked lovingly but she jerked his hand away and got up.All his hurtful words of past were haunting her.She just chose to stay away from him than facing that demon again.

Taani:"Please stay away from me.I don't want you to show your fake concern for me or MY baby.Why can't you understand that I don't want you in my life"

She moved towards main door leaving him behind.But he followed her.

Rey:"Where are you going at this time of night?"

He asked blocking her way.She just gave him a deadly look.

Taani:"Its none of your business"

She pushed him aside but he caught her wrist.

Rey:"It IS my business,Taani.Everything related to you and OUR baby is my business"

She jerked his hand away.

Taani:"MY.Its just my baby.You don't have any right on me or my baby.Just stop showing me your fake concern.I know a man like you can never change.So,Stop it right now.I'll Never ever forget what you did with me.I can never forgive you.And I'll leave this place with MY baby.I'll not let you even t..."

Her words kept hanging as he got a grip of her shoulders and slumped her back on wall.His death like grip was causing her immense pain.

He saw a rush of pain passing through her face and he loosened his grip on her arm at that very moment.

Rey:"Don't push me,Taani.Kudh se itna bhi door mat karo ki baad mein chah kar bhi main tumhare paas na aa saku"

He whispered painfully in her ears.His whole body slumped forward on wall.His shoulders fallen in pain and helplessness.

He pushed his body from wall through his hand and moved away from her.He faced his back to her.

Main hu gumsum tu bhi khamosh hai

Sach hai samay ka hi sab dosh hai

Dhadkan dhadkan ik gham rehta hai

Jaane kyu phir bhi dil kehta hai

He felt a slight movement behind him and he turned back and saw her leaving through main door.Not taking a risk over her safety he too followed her keeping himself at some distance.

They both started walking through roads of Mumbai.He knew she was still crying by the way her shoulders were hunched up and her body was shaking due to her sobs.

Hai zindagi mana dardbhari
Phir bhi isme yeh rahat bhi hai
Main hoon tera aur tu hai meri
Yun hi rahen hum yeh chahat bhi hai
Phir dil ke dil se, pool kyun toote hain

He saw a couple passing through other side of road.The lady was also pregnant and her husband was holding her shoulders and was helping her to move.He could only imagine himself and Taani at place of that couple.He so wished he could just remove all the hurt from her life and could lead a normal life with her and THEIR baby.

He saw her moving inside a ice-cream parlour and then it dawned to him that she was craving for ice-cream.He knew it was more to the frustration she just went on him.It was not only because of her cravings but still he tried to make his heart believe that she didn't meant any of those words.It was just because of her pregnancy hormones and nothing else.He would not lose hope.Its his only support now through these months.He would do anything and everything to make her stay.He would seek her forgiveness.He would not lose hope and would try till his last breath.

She was about to order her ice cream when she realised that in all the rush she forgot to bring any money with her.She again felt those tears coming bak to her eyes.The old man sitting at counter looked at her and asked what is the problem and then she told him that she forgot to bring money.Before the old could answer anything Rey gestured him to give ice-cream to Taani and he would pay.The man nodded at Rey and conveinced Taani that he'd give her free ice-cream as she is pregnant and its not good for her to go back all the way to bring money.

Taani was more than happy and she thanked him and promised to pay him next morning.He just smiled and gave her ,her ordered ice-cream.

She happily sat down on one of the table in parlour and started enjoying her ice-cream.She was so happy after fullflling her baby's craving.She soothed her baby bump and talked to her baby while eating ice-cream.

Rey just smiled looking at her content face.He was feeling so good after fulfilling her wish.And unknowingly she also allowed him to take care of her and THEIR baby.

Note:Guys I don't want you to hate Taani coz she said those hurtful words to Rey.She was right on her place and Rey also know that.That's why he tried to shrug off the matter and chose to concentrate on the mission in his hand.

From now on better phase of their life will start.You all asked for Taani's concern ,ri8? So from next chapter you'll see that only.Now story will take a big turn.
