Chapter 1 - Pal Pal Teri Yaad Sataye..

It had been almost midnight and Arnav was still in office.. Khushi tried calling her Arnavji so many times, but it was always hard luck that she could not reach her husband.. She saw her almost 3 years old son Aarav, already sleeping peacefully on her bed and then again looked at the wall clock.. She was tensed.. Going near him, she lay down besides Aarav and her son snuggled inside his mother, who hugged him and closed her eyes.. Khushi remembered today morning when her Arnavji was getting ready to leave for office..

**Flash Back**

Morning.. 8.00 am..

ArShi Room..

Khushi just came in her room from down with the pooja thal, once she did the morning aarti with Naniji.. Her husband was still an atheist and Khushi dint force him much either, to believe in what she does..

Khushi saw Arnavji searching something in his closet and kept the aarti thal aside.. She smiled in her heart and went to hug him from behind..

He looked behind and broke the hug to turn around and she looked at him smiling..

Arnav-Khushi, plz fetch me my wallet fast.. I need to get at AR Fashions fast.. I am already late..

Khushi nodded and Arnav moved aside so Khushi could go near his closet and find his belongings for her Arnavji..

In a moment she searched for that what he was taking forever and she passed the same to him.. She was expecting him to peck her cheek once before he leaves but he was in such a hurry that he dint notice this and rushed out of the room and down and was off to office..

Khushi looked up and her happy face lit dim now as she saw him disappear.. Not only today, it had been a few days now, that he had been so busy to take out time and talk to her..

She knew his work had always been his priority since the day her marriage was fixed by her parents and his Nani with the Great Business Tycoon Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada.. Khushi too gave her YES for the marriage as the prospective groom was young, handsome and all that what any girl would wish for!

Since marriage, she was contented in every way by her husband.. She got new clothes, beautiful jewellery, and the best of all, she got a son too, Aarav..

Although her son was conceived within 6 months from her marriage, Arnav never denied his wife for anything she wanted.. Both were happy in their world, and more than blessed to get a healthy and handsome prince like Aarav..

Khushi's chain of thoughts got interrupted as she heard her son up from his sleep.. She saw Aarav moving on the bed and saw the time to go and wake him up..

Khushi-Aarav, come on get up and go brush your teeth.. Am coming with your clothes and your going to bath next.. Chalo beta, wake up..

She went to her and Arnavji's closet and opened her side door.. Aarav's clothes were kept in a separate rack beside her night dresses.. She took a small white tee and grey cotton pant and towel and what so ever needed and went to the bed where Aarav used to sleep between her and Arnavji since his birth..She bent to pick up Aarav who growled, but she being his mother and wife of ASR, spun him to carry him in her arms and go to bathe him and get him dressed..

Khushi's everyday passed in running after Aarav and learning something from Nani's life experiences.. Her nights were left only to wait for her Arnavji to come home and have their dinner together..

Nani's Room

It was 9.00 pm already and Aarav was irritating Nani with his non stop questions when Khushi came in Nani's room.. She heard Aarav..

Aarav-Badi Nani, why does night fall?

Nani-So you can sleep..

Nani pampered her great grandson's hairs and Aarav kept jumping in his badi Nani's laps to get replies to all his curiosities..

Aarav-Oh! Then why do owls sleep in day?

Nani-Coz they have to work at night..

Nani smiled and Aarav again hopped..

Aarav-Owls! Tell me a story on owls..

Khushi-Enough Aarav.. Let ur Badi Nani sleep.. You too have to sleep now, its late.. Come, I will tell you a story..

Nani-Its okay Khushi bitiya, let him sleep with me tonight.. You know I love my Aarav so much.. He too loves me, haina Aarav beta?

Aarav nodded a yes in eagerness with a smile, but Khushi denied..

Khushi-No.. I will tell him a story today Nani, you should rest.. Today Aarav just took off all your energy making you run behind him na, I know.. You rest Nani..

Aarav-But Maa.. Plz, Nani tells better stories, and also am not sleepy..

Aarav made a face not wanting to go to Khushi..

Khushi-I promise Aarav, I will let you sleep with Nani tomorrow.. Tonight plz be with Maa na, she too feels alone..

Said Khushi taking Aarav in her arms and bid a good night to Nani and went to her room not before switching the lights of Nani's room OFF..

The truth behind Khushi wishing so much to sleep with her little Aarav was that she was feeling lonely.. Noting the time, Khushi had predicted that her husband would be late tonight too..

She had her dinner after which she got Aarav to his parents room and narrated a story till he fell asleep.. Now all she had to do was wait..

Minutes passed and it was 10.00 pm, still she tried calling her Arnavji which went in vain..

2 hours more to pass and it will be Mid-Night..

**Flash Back Ends**

Khushi almost slept hugging her son.. It was a long wait she had been experiencing lately for her husband.. And especially tonight's wait.. It was her and Arnavji's 4th Marriage Anniversary..

Its a Completely Random One again! Wrote it for myself as an O.S. and unexpectedly ended up Posting it today as a S.S. ..
