Chapter 64

Anjali had a huge smile on her face ... she should be jealous ... no ... her brother, for whom she was the no.1 priority ... who take care of her in every step ... who can bend only to her demands ... who was that much possessive about her that he had forbidden her to go to her husband's house after marriage ... the same brother's priority has changed to Khushi ... the first thing he asked for, after getting conscious, is Khushi ... his continuous demands to see her clearly shows his utter care and possessiveness for Khushi.

So ... she should be jealous right? But Anjali felt happiness ... immense happiness ... yes there was jealousy ... a tiny miny bit jealousy but the happiness was tenfold.

She had seen him suffering after their mother's death, working day and night ... not demanding anything from life but only success and better life for her ... he use to hide his pain and sorrows from her, not to make her worry, he doesn't share his feelings with anyone ... she had to try so hard to make him speak up which was very very rare at times. He had built a wall around his heart, allowing not a single soul to enter the territory. When he suddenly got married to Tania, she was shocked and angry first but then she accepted it thinking that may be her brother finally find love and Tania would be able to break all his hard walls ... but she was wrong ... she had seen their friendship when Tania was working with him ... but never seen the love between them ... beside she had watched Arnav move away more from Tania. Their tiffs on every single thing didn't go un-notice by her and whenever she asked about it from Arnav ... he denies to share anything. This had made her more worried.

And the way Tania got herself pregnant had made Arnav loose the remaining beliefs he had about relationships and love. And after that Arnav got more drown into his shell and darkness. She had prayed and prayed to GOD to bring the person in his brother's life, who can make him believe again in love ... who will be able to enter his forbidden territory ... who will break his walls ... who will love and care for him unlimited and most importantly who will bring him close to his own son.

When Khushi enters their life, she had seen the sparks between Arnav and Khushi ... they way he stare at her ... his involuntary care towards her ... it had built up a hope in her heart that Khushi might be that person for his brother.

And now today seeing both their care and love for each other ... made her happy that finally her brother had found that "someone" in his life, not to forget his heartfelt confession to her about a day ago. If that someone becomes more important than her ... then she had no objections about it ... why? ... Because her brother deserves that and now the only thing remain was to bound the two of them together for eternity

So she sent a silent thank you to GOD above for fulfilling her prayers.

Rahul was watching his wife ... a daze smile on her face ... he comes to her, squeeze her shoulder while giving a side hug.

"What my beautiful wife is thinking?", asked Rahul giving a smile when Anjali turn her face towards him on his touch.

"About chottey and Khushi", said Anjali.

"Darn it ... again chottey ... you always splash water on my hopes ... why I always thought that you were thinking about me in the first place", said Rahul making a sad face.

Anjali lovingly hit his cheek, "Stop being childish ... you know that you both are equally important to me... yes chottey's graph is a little higher than yours", giggled Anjali seeing Rahul shakes his head.

"So?", said Rahul asking about her thoughts.

"Just thanking God for bringing Khushi in chottey's life ... just feeling happy", said Anjali giving a big smile to Rahul.

Rahul smile at her in reply. Akash came to them, "Well bhai is asleep now ... I guess you should also go home Di".

"No ... I want to stay here", said Anjali

"but Di ..", Akash want to say but Anjali interrupt her, "I said I want to stay here with chottey ... that's it".

"Leave it Akash ... your Di wants to guard her brother ... then let her ... beside we are already short of ward boys you know", said Rahul mischievously and earned a smack on his arm from his wife. Akash chuckled, while Payal smiled seeing the easy camaraderie between them.

"Why are you all smiling for?", they heard Aman's voice who was few feets away, walking towards them.

"Is ASR awake?", asked Aman assuming that they must be happy because Arnav got conscious.

"yes ... he ..", Anjali was about to answer him when Akash cut her, "yeah he is awake .. don't you want to meet him?", said Akash

"yeah ..."said Aman and Akash gesture for him to go in the room ... Anjali hold his arm to scold him but Akash give her an amused smile ... understanding the meaning Anjali kept quiet.

Aman opens the door and went it ... he had just opened his mouth to greet Arnav when his eyes fell on Khushi and Arnav both snuggling into each other ... his mouth remain open at the sight. Seeing his expression Anjali, Akash and Rahul laugh a little ... Payal too couldn't hold her giggle. Hearing the sound Aman turns and understand what they were upto.

"ha .. ha .. ha ... that's not funny", Aman made an irritated face ... which made other chuckled more. Aman got soften the next moment ... he close the door behind him not before giving a last happy look to Arnav and Khushi. He was happy too like others seeing his boss, his friend in a peaceful state ... finally with the person he was longing to be with.

"So you all staying here tonight?", asked Aman. To which Anjali and Payal nodded her head.

"Oh No ... no one is staying here tonight", said Rahul and before Anjali could say something he continues, "they both are exhausted and Arnav in under medication so I don't think they will be up before morning ... beside I think you all need sleep as well ... me too will come home ... it was an exhausting day for all of us".

"yeah ... Jiju is right Di ...", Akash agreed with Rahul.

"But chottey ... who will stay with him then?", asked Anjali in worry.

"Didn't you see Anji ... he already have the person he wanted with him right now ... beside I already call the doctor who had night duty ... he will keep a watch on them ... we will come here early morning ... ok", said Rahul but Anjali was still reluctant to leave.

Meanwhile Aman gesture Akash "need to discuss something" who nods his head and move with Aman a distance away from Anjali, Rahul and Payal.

"Ajay is dead", said Aman ... Akash was taken aback a bit but then got relieved in next moment, "He deserves it", said Akash.

"I talked to Vikrant before coming here, apparently there was a tunnel under the back room ... which lead to the west side of the building about half KM away ... Kushal escapes from there ... they found a car there which might be for Ajay to escape ... but he got in fight with ASR ... Vikrant's men had made that imposter talk, he said Kushal did it so that we think that he has been captured or dead in gunfire mayhem ... he didn't knew that we will catch his lie ... we think that he will be back after few days changing his identity ... they had alerted police stations about him ... he will be hidden for few days for now", said Aman.

"Oh ... that means the danger is still there", said Akash in worry.

"yeah but this time Kushal won't escape ... he didn't knew that we had recorded his confession ... he will be back to claim the properties ... and we will catch him then. Vikrant had his men around Shantivan and AR ... I also alerted Amit about the same", said Aman.

"Oh no ... Bhai had signed the papers ... so now the property will be on that bas***ds name ... what we will do about that?", asked Akash worried.

"Oh that ... those papers are unvalid", said Aman with a hint of smile.

"Meaning?", asked Akash ... then Aman tell him what Arnav did with the property papers.

"Wow ... bhai is clever ... tuch(Smack the back of his head) how could I think that bhai will hand over his everything to that moron just like that", said Akash.

"yup I was surprise too", said Aman.

"So shall we tell bhai about all of this", asked Akash.

"yeah we have too ... don't we", said Aman.

"Arrghh ... I just wish this to end", said Akash and Aman nodded agreement.

Just then Rahul called Akash ... as he got succeed in making Anjali agree to go home.

"ok then ... see you tomorrow ... I already had talked with Amit ... but you also talk to him ... incase Kushal comes there ... be careful", said Aman tapping Akash's shoulder who in return shakes hands with Aman and then they all left for their respective home.

--------------- Next day Saturday --- Early Morning

Khushi's sleep broke with the soft tapping on her cheek ... the first thought in her mind was that Arnav is awake and trying to wake her up ... but when his hands got tiny and soft??, thought Khushi ... and what is that wet thing ... huh ... wet ... !!! Khushi squint her eyes at that when she felt something wet on her cheek ... she opens her eyes slowly and a cute baby face came in front of her.

"Agh agh agh" ... Arush made a baby excited voice, showing his 4 teeth when he saw Khushi eyes open ... Khushi smile wide on seeing her baby's face.

"Maammmaaa ...", exclaimed Arush as he tap on her cheek ... and a little drool too fell on her cheek.

"Awwh mela baby", said Khushi in a baby voice as she try to get up but then she felt something holding her.

"Oh so you wake up haan ... finally", came a teasing voice of Anjali. Khushi turn her face and saw Anjali standing on her side behind Arush as she was holding him from back. Khushi couldn't see her first as Arush face was very close to her.

"Anjali ji ...", said Khushi in a greeting way ... blushing too as Anjali had seen her in Arnav's arms.

"Aye haye ... blushing ... look baby your Mama is blushing", tease Anjali more as she pull Arush back so that Khushi could get out of the bed.

"Anjali ji ...", said Khushi making an innocent face telling her not to tease her.

"What?? I haven't seen it for the first time you know", wink Anjali and Khushi blush more remembering the pic Anjali had shown of Her, Arnav and Arush sleeping together on bed.

Khushi carefully take Arnav's arm off her and came out of bed adjusting her dupatta.

"here go to your mama now", said Anjali extending Arush to Khushi who take him in her arms and kiss his cheeks. Arush made a happy sound and started to play with her hair.

Just then the door open, Rahul and Akash came in ... "Is bhai awake?", asked Akash as he came near the bed.

"Shhshh", said Anjali keeping a finger on her lips indicating Akash that Arnav is still sleeping.

Akash raise his hands and move back while Rahul came ahead and check on Arnav's vitals, BP and pulse rate.

Anjali looked at him questioningly. "He is doing much better ... his BP near to normal, vitals are good too ... but he will be feeling weak for few days ... also I will be getting his blood report today so will get to know about his sugar levels", said Rahul looking at everyone.

"Taahhh ...", Arush scream aloud ... Khushi quickly keep her hand on his mouth, "Sshhhsh .. baby ... Papa is sleeping ...no disturbing", said Khushi a bit sternly ... Arush looked at her with open mouth then wiggle a little as if indicating her that he understood.

"So when will he wake up?", asked Anjali with slight worry.

"Well as he was under sedatives that's why he is in deep sleep ... but don't worry ... he will be awake in an hour or two", said Rahul as he smile towards Khushi who nodded her head.

"Come on Khushi ... we had brought breakfast for you ... you should eat ... and no arguing now", said Rahul as he move towards Khushi and wound his arm around her shoulder and take her out, Akash follows them and Anjali stays behind with Arnav.

--------------- 1 n half hour later ...

Arnav sleep broke ... he moves his body a little and winces as a sharp pain shoot in his left arm and chest. He opens his eyes and instantly fell on his right side ... seeing it empty he tried to sit up.

"Careful Chottey...", said Anjali immediately coming to Arnav and help him a little up by adjusting the pillows on his back.

"Di ... Khushi..", said Arnav looking around the room but couldn't see Khushi there.

"Hay bhagwan ... Khushi ... Khushi ... and what about me who is standing here beside you ...tuch I don't hold any value now", said Anjali making a sad face. Arnav roll his eyes at his Di being dramatic.

"Come on Di ... you know what you mean to me ... I didn't have to tell you", said Arnav in offending tone.

"Acha baba ... I know ... but you know (Anjali cups his cheeks) I am happy to see that you love Khushi this much", said Anjali with a smile. Arnav give a small smile to her.

"Where is she?", asked Arnav.

"She had gone home ... her mother was getting worried for her", said Anjali and saw Arnav irritated face, "Don't worry she will be here soon ... she too can't stay away from you for long", said Anjali in a teasing tone. "Di ...", Arnav glare at her sister.

"What? I said the truth only", said Anjali ... "Ok wait ... let me call Rahul he asked me to tell him when you get up", saying that Anjali went out.

After few minutes Anjali came back with Rahul and Akash.

"Bhai ...", exclaimed Akash and instantly hug Arnav.

Arnav was taken aback at that, "What the ... Akash"

"I am so glad that you are alright Bhai ...", said Akash still hugging him.

"Akash ...", this time Arnav said a bit sternly. Akash breaks the hug ... Arnav could see concern for him so not wanting to offend him he taps his shoulder, "I am fine" and Akash smile at that.

"You really scared the hell out of us Arnav", said Rahul as he come close to Arnav. "you should have seen Akash and Aman ... both were crying over you".

"What ...? Come on", said Arnav shaking his head. Akash give a sheepish smile.

"What come on ... did you know how much close we were from losing you", said Anjali a bit angry.

"She is right Arnav ... I was scared too ... I too thought that ... if not for Khushi ...", Rahul left his sentence incomplete.

"Khushi ... what?", asked Arnav looking at Rahul who in turn look at Anjali.

"um I will call Aman and inform him", said Akash and went out of room.

"What jiju ...is Khushi alright?", asked Arnav getting worried if something happened to Khushi and she hide it from him.

"Oho ... (Anjali smack her forehead light) nothing happened to your Khushi", said Anjali and Rahul chuckled.

"Then what Jiju was saying", said Arnav ... Rahul tap his shoulder and told him what happened in OT and then Anjali told him how Khushi got fainted and reacted wanting to go to him.

"Seriously you both acted the same ... Khushi said I want to go to Arnavji " and you also said I want to go to Khushi'", said Anjali imitating both Khushi and him.

Arnav was astonish to know all this ... he don't know what he should say ... he was happy and sad at the same time. Happy that Khushi loves him so much and sad at Khushi had gone through pain as well.

"I think you should eat something now Arnav ... you have to take medicine as well", said Rahul as he check up on him.

"Yeah you must be hungry ... I had made soup for you", said Anjali as she move towards the table at the corner and fiddle with lunch container and cutlery.

"I don't want soup Di", said Arnav in irritated tone.

"Yes you do ... you haven't eaten since yesterday evening not even yesterday night, Khushi told me ... and Rahul said you need light food ... so soup is best", said Anjali as she bring the bowl of soup and sit beside Arnav.

Arnav look at Rahul for some support but he agreed with Anjali ... so having no other choice Arnav drinks the soup from Anjali's hand.

--------------------- Around Noon ...

Khushi came to hospital with her family and the Raizadas ... Nani and Mami hugged Arnav, cried looking at his condition. It was an emotional scene which made Anjali cry as well. Khushi's parents, Buaji and Payal also greeted Arnav and wish him healthy recovery soon. Arnav was getting irritated with all the attention and care ... he was never at the receiving end before as he was the one who always look after everyone in his family ... he had never let Anjali or Nani care him when he was sick in past ... he use to take care of it himself ... and now it was making him agitated seeing everyone's concern and attention.

As if sensing his irritation Khushi quietly usher her family out of the room ... and whisper about same to Rahul before going out. Rahul try to cheer up Nani, Mami and Anjali ... told them not to talk much and let Arnav rest. So they quite down after few minutes but no one wanted to leave.

Half an hour passed and it was testing Arnav's patience ... as much as he loves his family ... they sometime become an irritation too.

He really wanted to spend time with Khushi ... he wanted to talk to her ... hold her close .. kiss her ..oh gosh ... the thought itself made his heart race.

And ooopppsss that made a sound too ... as the monitor attach to his pulse showed his increasing heart rate. Rahul saw that and immediately came to Arnav.

"Arnav .. what happened? You alright ? feeling dizzy or something?", asked Rahul in concerned voice.

Arnav averted his eyes, "No ... just tired and little headache". Now how he is going to tell him why his heart started to beat fast and the reason was a particular person about whom he was thinking to kiss.

Everyone got worried seeing Rahul's worried expression.

"Something wrong?", asked Anjali.

"No I guess", said Rahul who looked at the monitor which now showed normal pulse rate. "Just let him rest now", said Rahul and gesture everyone to leave.

Nani lovingly kiss Arnav's forehead and bless him ... Mami caressed his cheeks before going out. Akash and Anjali left too.

"Jiju ...", Arnav called Rahul when he saw everyone else is out. Rahul look at him, "Yes Arnav ... you need something?".

"Khushi ..", said Arnav and Rahul smile in understanding and left the room.

Arnav lay down on the bed ... he was feeling tired ... he close his eyes and waited for Khushi ... he was feeling sleepy too.

Khushi wanted to go to Arnav too but it's not possible when both the families were present. Her mother was still worrying over her ... Nani too got added in the category. And then there was Arush who was keeping her busy. After 15mins when both the families went back to their respective home Khushi went in the room with Arush in her arms as she wanted him to meet Arnav as well. Arnav gets up a little as he saw Khushi coming in the room.

"Hey ...", Khushi greeted Arnav with a smile.

"Hey ..." replied Arnav with a smile as well.

"See who came to meet you", said Khushi as she sit on bed beside him ... "Baby look papa ..." Khushi turn Arush towards Arnav ... who was looking the other way over Khushi's shoulder.

As soon as he saw Arnav he started to wiggle in Khushi's arms, "ppaapppaa..." exclaimed Arush ... Khushi let him loose and he quickly crawl on Arnav.

"Wooh there buddy ... easy", said Arnav as he tried to hold him with his right hand ... his other hand was still in cast and not able to move it as of now.

Khushi quickly catches Arush, "Baby ... wait ... Papa will get hurt", said Khushi as he move closer to Arnav and make him sit on Arnav's right side. Arnav lovingly ruffle his hair.

"tah th agghnn ...", Arush made baby voices as he takes Arnav's hand in his two tiny hands and started to play with his finger.

"How are you?", asked Arnav.

"Good ... how about you? Your arm?", asked Khushi looking at his left arm.

"its paining a bit and still can't feel it now", said Arnav.

"Rahul bhai told that it will take some time for you to be able to move it", said Khushi with concern on her face.

"yeah he told me too ... he said a physician will be coming to examin it", said Arnav ... "tuch ... I cant wait to get out of here", said Arnav as he tried to move a bit up but winces in pain.

"Careful ...", said Khushi loudly standing quickly and adjusting the pillow at his back. And you are not going anywhere ... you have to stay here for couple of days".

"Oh no ... I am not ... its so irritating here ... with all looking at me as if I am dying or what", said Arnav and Khushi suddenly slap him lightly on his cheek.

"oww ...", said Arnan jerking a bit at the slap.

"Don't you dare say that again or else ...", said Khushi in angry tone.

"Or else what?", said Arnav looking in her eyes.

"Or else I am gona beat you so much that you will cry", said Khushi still angry.

"oh yeah ... I don't think so you can do that ...", said Arnav smirking.

"oh yes I can ... don't challenge me ... if I can hit that evil man then I can surely hit you", said Khushi in angry.

"What? Who did you hit?", said Arnav getting alerted and surprise.

"Uhnnn agh ...", Arush made a baby sound and started to crawl on Arnav ... Khushi quickly grab him and make him sit in her lap ... she was sitting facing Arnav ... with one leg folded on bed and other hanging down.

"Arruuushhh ...", said Khushi sternly looking at him ... the tone meant for him to stop doing whatever he was doing ... and Arush got quite and hid his face in Khushi's chest. Khushi smile at his gesture which meant he does not like that Khushi stop him to go on Arnav, she started to rub his back lovingly.

"remember that guy who took me in the room ... when you were fighting ... what was his name .. umm ...", said Khushi trying to remember his name.

"Ajay ... what did he do .. did he hurt you?", said Arnav with angry expression.

Khushi quickly shakes her head, still patting on Arush's back, "No ... when he took me in the room ... he push me on the floor, coming on top of me ... I knew what he is going to do ... I started to remember what happened in London ... I got scared ...", Khushi was saying and Arnav curls his hand in a fist trying to control his anger ... his jaws clenched too.

Seeing that Khushi quickly held his hand, while her other hand patting Arush. "then I heard you saying my name ... I don't know where I got the strength ... I push him before he could come back on top of me I hit him", said Khushi and avert her eyes .. "um .. mm ... there".

Arnav raise his eye brow, "Where?" he asked not understanding.

Khushi turn her face away ... feeling embarrassed, "um down there ..." she said in low voice.

"Oh ...", escapes Arnav's lips in surprise.

"He got down on floor beside me ... I quickly get up and before he held my hand ... but I quickly jerk it away and kick him again on that spot ... he scream ... I guess it pained him pretty much", said Khushi not meeting Arnav's eye.

"yeah I can understand how much it will pain", said Arnav smirking ... he was happy and surprise ... happy that Khushi hit Ajay ... and surprise that how she is able to do as looking at the previous incident she was pretty scared about it.

"Where did you learn that?", asked Arnav amusingly.

"Wo NK taught me", said Khushi getting excited as if telling him a story, "You know he tried to force himself on me ... and I have to ...", Khushi was saying when Arnav cut her.

"What the ...? He forced himself on you ... Dammit .. I am not gona spare him", said Arnav getting angry.

"No .. no .. he was acting", said Khushi quickly, "As I told him what happened in London so he thought I should learn how to protect myself if anything like this happen again in future".

"hmmm good", said Arnav but still not liking the fact that NK being close to Khushi.

"He then acted as if he was forcing himself on me ... and teach me how to defend myself ... he told me that ... that ... whats the sensitive spot of men (Khushi avert her eyes again and Arnav smirk at that) and told me to hit it ... as it will give me chance to run away ... you know I actually hit him too ... um there ... poor NK he was really shocked at that", said Khushi and Arnav chuckled at that.

"Don't laugh ... it really hurt him", said Khushi getting hell embarrassed now.

"Glad that you hit him", murmur Arnav but Khushi heard it ... she smack his arm.

"What?", asked Arnav ... but Khushi only glare at him.

Khushi shifted Arush to her other arm as her arm was feeling a bit sore ... Arush made a sleepy voice .. Khushi saw his voice drooping too.

"Awhh my baby is sleepy haan", said Khushi as she make Arush lay in her arms and started to sway a little. Arnav expression change into tender as he saw Khushi in motherly avatar ... their bond always amaze him.

"Arnavji .. just a minute ... I will make him sleep", said Khushi and Arnav nodded with a smile.

Khushi started to hummm a song which she do to make Arush sleep .. She softly patted on his front. Arush close his eyes and then after few seconds turn to right ... digging his face in Khushi, grabbing her kurta in one hand. Soon Arush was sleeping soundlessly. Khushi look at Arnav and was surprise to see him sleeping as well ... she giggle a little seeing his sleepy face ... which is not so different from Arush.

"Shoo cute ..", whisper Khushi as she caresses his hair and cheek ... as If sensing her touch ... Arnav smile a little in his sleep.

Arnav had closed his eyes when Khushi started to humm the song ... he was already feeling sleepy but was resisting to spend time with Khushi ... but when he heard her melodious voice ... he couldn't hold it longer and went to peaceful slumber.

Khushi went to the sofa ... the room which was allotted to Arnav was big enough to have a sofa, which was on right ... table on left with two stools on each side of the bed. Khushi carefully lay Arush down on the sofa and put cushions on his side so that he won't fell down.

------------------ Meanwhile on the other side ...

Raghu enter in a small house, feeling tired ... as he was running here and there getting info about Ajay ... but he couldn't find anything. Kushal stood up seeing him, "Where is Lala ... did you find him?", he asked with worried expression.

"No Sahab ... I went back to the building but police had sealed it ... there were police men as well so I couldn't go in ... I tried to ask around the police stations but no one knew ... I guess that CBI officer might got Lala ji in CBI quarters ... normal police is not allowed there but still as a last resort I bribed a constable ... he said he will tell me tomorrow .. he will try to get info from the CBI HQ.", said Raghu tiredly.

Kushal pace in the room, "that stupid boy ... whats the need to fight with that Arnav ... he could have escaped ... I told him so ... but no he had to do stupid things ... Shit ... I should have force him to come with me", said Kushal in anger.

"Don't worry Sahab ... we will find our Lala ji", said Raghu trying to calm down his boss.

After few minutes Raghu asked, "What have you thought about the property papers Sahab?".

Kushal stare at him sternly, "I haven't forgot Raghu ... you will get your share ... first let us find Lala ... then I will go that Raizada house and will kick them all out", said Kushal smiling evilly.

Little did he know that ... it will be him who will be getting kicked out.

------------------ Around Evening @ Hospital

Aman gives a tight hug to Khushi ... who smiled at his concern. "I am so glad that nothing happened to you", said Aman breaking the hug.

Khushi smiles and asked, "You ok?".

"yeah what happened to me ... I am perfectly alright", said Aman.

"Ahan ... I heard someone cried yesterday", said Khushi with a teasing smile.

"Damn ...", said Aman as look sheepishly at Khushi, "Don't tell ASR ok".

"He already knows", said Khushi and giggle looking embarrassed expression on Aman's face.

"How's he doing?", asked Aman few seconds later as he and Khushi sit on the chairs outside Arnav's room.

"He is getting better ... Rahul Bhai said his sugar levels a bit low due to blood loss but nothing to worry ... it will better in a day or two is in there ... right now a physician is checking his arm", said Khushi and Aman nodded his head.

Just then he get a call from Vikrant telling him that he had reached the hospital ... Aman told him where to come.

"Khushi ... Officer Vikrant is here ... he is from CBI ... he is handling this case ... he will be asking you some question ... as we will be needing your statement ... ok", said Aman and Khushi gulped thinking that she had to visit that painful time.

"Don't worry ... I will be here with you ok ... be strong ok", said Aman holding her hand ... Khushi squeeze his hand in reply.

Soon Vikrant came with Shivam and 2 other men ... he greeted Aman and Khushi. He gesture Shivam who sit beside Khushi and started to ask her questions. Meanwhile Vikrant gesture Aman who went to side with him.

"We still haven't found Kushal ... but I am sure he will be angry when we let the news leak of his son's death ... right now no one from outside CBI knows about it. My men is still searching for him ... he will be out soon as he thinks that his imposter will be consider Kushal Malik and no one can say anything to him ... but he don't know that we knew his plan and also got his confession recorded", said vikrant.

"He will be coming to Shantivan", said Aman.

"What makes you said that?", asked Vikrant.

"Looking at past how he threw ASR and sister out once ... he will definitely like to repeat it again ... so more chances are that he will comes to Shanti van ... I am sure about it", said Aman.

"Ok I will inform my men who are stationed there", said Vikrant and went away to make calls.

Aman went back to Khushi ... who was giving her statement about how she got kidnap and her conversation with Kushal.

After some time Arnav was free from checkup ... he was able to move his left hand and fingers but still not able to move his arm properly as it pain him whenever he do. Doctor assured that it happens in case of injury like this ... he will be moving his arm in a week or two ... Arnav grimace thinking that how much time it will take for his recovery.

Aman enters the room, "ASR ... how you're doing?" he greeted Arnav coming near to him. He extends his hand hesitating but Arnav gladly took and shake it.

"Much better ...", said Arnav with light smile ... and Aman got relieved .. he sat down on stool beside the bed.

"that's good", said Aman and take something out of his pocket, "here you cell ... I found it at the building".

"Thank you Aman ..", said Arnav after taking his cell phone.

Aman was surprised, "Um ... it ok ASR ... its nothing", said Aman gesturing towards the phone.

Arnav shakes his head, "Not for this ... but for everything you did back there ... Akash told what you did ... I wanted to do ... for what he did with Khushi but still I am glad what you did", said Arnav.

Aman just nodded his head ... not knowing how he should respond to it. Arnav seems to be giving him shocks and surprises these days.

The door knocked and Vikrant came in ... he greeted Arnav. Aman and Vikrant then updated him about everything ... his statement was taken too. The official complaint was also got register against Kushal ... though it was needed but it's just to fulfill the law formality.

Meanwhile Lavanya came to the hospital and greeted Khushi with a tight hug and then scolded her.

"Seriously no one told me about it ... if I didn't come here yesterday I wouldn't have known about it", said Lavanya in offending tone.

"oh ... didn't Aman tell you?", asked Khushi confuse as to why didn't Lavanya knows about her ... as she thought that Aman must have told her.

"Don't even take his name", said Lavanya in angry tone.

"Why? What happened?", asked Khushi.

"That moron ... didn't tell me anything ... I am hell angry with him ... I swear I feel like beating him up", said Lavanya still angry.

"Please Lavanya ji don't get angry ... they were all worried ... may be ..", Khushi was saying when Lavanya cut her.

"Oh please Khushi don't take his side now ok ... I mean we are in a relationship yaar ... he should have trust me with this ... not only him ... I am also angry with Anji as well", said Lavanya.

Khushi understood that she is talking about Anjali, but before Khushi could say anything ... the door open and Vikrant came out with his men and Aman.

Aman was happy to see Lavanya but then his expression change to worry when he saw Lavanya giving him angry looks.

"Come Khushi ... I want to meet ASR", said Lavanya and went in the room.

She greeted Arnav and wishes him healthy recovery ... Arnav asked him about office but Lavanya hush him telling him that he shouldn't be getting worry about office ... as everything is fine there. Both the design teams are doing great work.

After some time Aman comes back and he two got indulge in talking about office stuff.

"You didn't tell anyone about ASR getting shot right?", asked Aman looking at Lavanya between their office talks.

"Of course not ... I am not that dumb like you think I am", said Lavanya giving a deathly look to Aman, "As ASR wont be coming to office for few days ... they were all bound to ask question and I am sure media will get to know about it too as ASR is a big figure ... so I told them that he had an accident ... we had a small designer meet today ... Mr. Richard ask for you (Lavanya looked at Arnav) so I have to tell them something ... Right?", said Lavanya.

"Its ok Lavanya ...", said Arnav assuring her.

"Lavanya ji .. I am sorry I didn't come to office ... I didn't knew about the meet or else ...", Khushi was saying when Lavanya cut her.

"Don't need to be sorry dear ... I understand your situation ... Prachi was calling you but your number was going off ... call her back when you get time ok", said Lavanya.

"Oh yeah ... your phone is at Shantivan ... I found it near the mandir", said Aman as he remember about Khushi's cell phone.

"Thanks .. I will take it when I get back there", said Khushi smiling.

"Arent you gona stay here tonight?", asked Arnav quickly hearing her he thought that she will leave.

"I am Arnavji", said Khushi as she blush a little.

Lavanya smiles at that, "Ok ASR ... I should leave now .. take care", said Lavanya and give him a peck on cheek.

Khushi's mouth open at that but she quickly recover ... Aman too seems awkward at that.

"take care", Arnav said ... normal at the gesture. Lavanya leave the room

"I think I should also go", said Aman and saying bye quickly he went out of the room following behind her, "Lavanya wait ...", said Aman reaching her and hold her hand.

"Don't", Lavanya jerked his hand away, "I don't wana talk to you ... so don't create scene here".

"I told you ASR forbid everyone to tell anyone ... why aren't you understanding this", said Aman getting irritated at her behavior.

"its not only about this Aman ... I feel hurt that you didn't trust me", said Lavanya.

"I do trust you Lavanya ... please don't take it like that", said Aman.

"I don't wana talk to you right now ... I am angry right now ... I don't want to do or say anything which will hurt us both ... so please", said Lavanya. She turn and started walking away.

"Shit ,,,", said Aman in anger ... "how will I make her understand", murmur Aman as too walk to exit.

"Now what happened to you?", asked Arnav looking at Khushi who seemed miffed due to something.

"Nothing ...", said Khushi.

"Then come here...", said Arnav extending his hand to her. Khushi takes it and Arnav quickly pull her on him.

Khushi gasps at that, "Arnavji ... why you did this?" asked Khushi as she tried to move away from him.

"I like to pull you towards me", said Arnav smirking.

"tuch ... leave me na Arnavji", said Khushi as she struggles to get up but Arnav tighten his arm around her waist locking her on him ... as her front press against his front.

"nope ... I won't ... I like it when you this close to me", said Arnav intently.

Khushi look at him and then lower her eyes feeling shy ... Arnav peck his cheek and Khushi look at him surprise.

"You didn't like when Lavanya did it ... right?", said Arnav and Khushi avert her eye.

"You don't have to feel bad ... you know someone told me that only she had the right to kiss me", said Arnav smirking and Khushi blush realizing that he is talking about her.

"I said it right .. hmmm?", said Arnav and Khushi nods her head still feeling shy.

"But I don't think so", said Arnav.

"Why?", asked Khushi.

"Because she still haven't kiss me...", said Arnav making a sad face. Khushi turn her face feeling shy at that.

After few seconds when Khushi didn't do anything Arnav glide his hand from her back to her nape. Khushi close her eyes feeling his hand on her back.

Grabbing her nape he bring her face close to his, "I am still waiting ...", he said huskily.

As the desire already rises in Khushi she cupped his cheeks and places her lips on his. Arnav to get involve in the kiss nibbling and sucking her lips thoroughly. They get apart after few minutes ... both breathing heavy ... Khushi caresses his cheek and touch her forehead with Arnav.

Arnav tweak her nose, "Lal hogayi". Khushi smack his chest and hide her face in it ... Arnav chuckled and hug her close.

i know its not that looongg ... but i couldnt write that much as due to weakness i could not sit on laptop for long ... also my mom is keeping an eye on me ... so she also don't allow me to use laptop that much ...

but i promise to make the next chapter a looonnng one ... 😳
