Hello !! Late again I know , but i don't wanna write anything if I am not in a mood.Doesn't come out right you see..

Part 5

Its been 7 months since Sanyukta was pregnant now but her interaction with Randhir was still minimal.Not once he would come up to her and ask her how she was doing.Since their last encounter even Sanyukta did not approach him.She was mad at him by this time even though it didn't seem like his fault to her, but she wanted him to be there by her side , take care of her like her other friends.But in reality Randhir did watch over her, forget about the hospital expenses and other bills, Randhir always made sure that someone was always with Sanyukta be it Yoyo , Jiggy or even other staff members.He kept himself updated about her check ups , appointments etc.He used to hide behind the walls and admire her and laugh at his cruel fate.He wanted to be with her,touch her , kiss her so much and tell her that even after all this his feelings for her haven't changed.

After a long day at college , the gang was enjoying their meal at the canteen.

The gang was hogging when suddenly ,

Sanyukta: It kicked !

The gang was gaping at her with food still stuffed in their mouth.They suddenly screamed in unison, " I wanna feel ! I wanna feel. " and everyone literally pounced on her.It was the happiest Sanyukta had been in a while , the feeling was magical - the feeling of a life growing inside her and her friends were equally elated seeing her this contented .

There stood Randhir , invisible to them putting on a faint smile with his red swollen eyes.He wanted to feel her, feel his child , show her he wanted it , wanted it all. He was brought out from this moment when he realized he should disappear before anyone spots him.And he was gone.Sanyukta's eyes were searching for him but it was too late.

Everyone had left the canteen as it was late in the evening now, except Parth and Sanyukta.Sanyukta was about to leave when -

Parth : Marry Me !

Sanyukta: (widening her eyes and turning around) What ? Yeh kya mazaak hai?

Parth: Sanyukta, I can't see you like this . Dekho your child needs a father and I can really be that Sanyu and I really really like you. Mujhe koi problem nahi hai.I really want to raise this child. Please mana mat karna. Main sirf tumhe khush dekhna chahta hoon.

Sanyukta: Parth, yeh tum... kya.. kyun...( Not being able to understand anything )

She appreciated him for this kind gesture. Before she could say something , he slid a ring through her finger and said " Ssshh, Kuch mat kehna.Just accept it.For your kid." and walked away from there.

Sanyukta stood there for hours thinking about her possible future. Do I see Parth in my future ? Do I even love him ?What about his future, her mind kept bugging her, she was confused about what to do.

She had made up her mind.The next day she was looking for Parth walking down the corridor.She was in haste,holding her belly and walking without watching her step.She suddenly slipped and fell on her derriere.

" Sanyukta !!!" , she heard a familiar voice scream , a voice she was craving to hear in months.He approached her, " Sanyukta, Oh god,Dhyan se chal nahi sakti kya? Don't you have any brains , you are responsible for two lives now you idiot " He was worried and scared but put forth his MCP face yelling and pointing his fingers at her.But he couldn't hide his concern from her, she figured it out immediately and deep down she liked it. As he was going to lift her up -

Sanyukta: Don't touch me. Please !(In the nicest way she could)

Randhi: (in shock and anger) What ?

And she just glared back at him.

Parth: Oh my god Sanyu ! Are you okay ?

(He went to lift her up)

When Randhir stopped him.By this time a crowd had gathered.Randhir wasn't scared anymore.

Randhir: Don't touch her. Do you hear me ? I am the FATHER not you.Back off.

The people watching them were shocked.He heard whispers but he couldn't care any lesser.Everyone was left with their jaws dropped but Parth.Parth somehow saw this coming, he had already fixed the pieces - How he found Sanyukta crying in Randhir's room,how he used to get drunk after Sanyukta left,how Randhir and Sanyukta don't talk to each other, but he chose to stay quiet about it to avoid further embarrassment to Sanyukta.But he wasn't afraid either especially when it came to Sanyu.

Parth : ( immediately retorting loudly) And I am her Fiance.Do you see this ring Randhir? (pointing towards it and lifting her up) And you, a father ? What kind of a father are you abandoning the mother of your child 7 months ago when you heard about the news.You are a coward Randhir.

All her college mates couldn't believe what they were watching , it was nothing less than a filmy scene for them.Kaustuki,Jiggy and Vidushi were present, all dumbfound.

Randhir couldn't say anything.His eyes were wet , he was about to cry and he knew it, she knew it.He just turned around and slowly walked away.Parth kept screaming at him, taunting him but Randhir didn't register anything after Parth announced he was Sanyukta's fiance.

"Ma'am , what time should I schedule your meeting tomorrow ?" a woman on the other end of the line spoke.The conversation was interrupted by the sound of the doorbell.It was late.When the lady on the line talking to her assistant went to open the door , all she said was ," Cancel all my meetings" she dropped the phone and engulfed her son with a tight hug and Randhir completely broke down."It's going to be okay beta, I know " Renuka Sanyal consoling her son.

Parth and Sanyukta were returning from the hospital after he had taken her there to make sure she was okay after the fall.And thankfully she was.They were slowly walking towards the hostel when -

Sanyukta: Parth, I can't marry you.(Removing her ring)

Parth: But Sanyukta ...

Sanyukta: ( cutting him) Listen to me Parth.I really love you for this and what you have been doing for me.But I can't ask you to make this sacrifice.Your future is on stake.And whats the point of this loveless marriage.Parth the truth is my heart belongs to someone else and its been that way since a while. And I am sure you don't love me either.You should give this ring to someone who loves you, who watches out for you deeply.(gesturing with her eyes pointing towards Vidushi who was ignorant about this conversation going on)

She returned the ring to Parth and walked away , Parth couldn't say much because he knew she was right this time.

Sanyukta was returning to her hostel when someone obstructed her path.

Sanyukta:Renuka ma'am ! Aap ? ( she had a broad smile on her face)

Renuka Ma'am just hugged her and said : Beta ! I think there is something that you should know.Come with me , this is going to take a while.

Randhir was in his room , on his bed lying down on one shoulder facing his left with his knees against his chest , holding them like a little kid and sobbing.He suddenly felt someone lying down next to him , but he didn't turn around thinking it was his mom coming in to console him again.

Suddenly a voice spoke, " Hey kiddo, look where we are, your dad's room, messed up just like him." caressing her stomach

Oh my god, it was her, his eyes widening in shock, he wiped his tears but still didn't turn around pretending to be angry.

She got it, and chuckled a little in her head.

" I think your Dad is a little angry , maybe I should tell him why I am here.Maybe I should tell him that I love him.Hain na ?"

As soon as those words popped out of her mouth he turned around.

Randhir: Kya kaha tumne ? Phir se kaho.(in disbelief)

His eyes were still wet.

Sanyukta: Mein toh apne bete se yeh keh rahi thi ki I think I should tell his jerk of a Dad that I love him.

Randhir: ( Not being able to control his smile) Beta ? Its a boy ? And you love me ? Oh my god.

(he kissed her belly)

But suddenly his expression changed.

Randhir: What about Parth?

Sanyukta: I can't marry someone I don't love .He was just being a great friend Randhir.

I can't forget what he has done for me. And I can't love you more for what you have done for me.Randhir tumne mere liye... I am so sorry !!( a tear escaped her eyes)

Randhir: Its okay Sanyukta. I would have done anything for you.And for our kid.Yeh toh kuch bhi nahi tha.(placing his forehead on hers)

Sanyukta: So Randhir! Do you love me too ? Agar tum NO kahoge toh mera yaha aane ka trip waste ho jaayega. ( making a sad face)

Randhir: Sanyukta !!! you stupid stupid Farzi .. ( cupping her face with both his hands)

I LOVE YOU !! I LOVE YOU !!!! I LOVE YOU ... kissing her all over her face

I was in love with you even before we spent that night together.You have no idea what you have put me through.But not anymore.

And he went in for a kiss as it were the most heralded kiss in the world.It was passionate, it was magical, they were compensating for the seven months they were apart from each other.

They made out for hours after that and no one was tired . And they fell asleep in each other's arms with Randhir's one hand on her baby.

It was a long day for both of them.But it was totally worth it.
