Maya: How come you are at home so early? You should be spending time with Arjun in hotels, movies, pubs, etc. If I were in your place, I wouldn't have left him even for a second.

Jhanvi: Shutup, Maya. I know your real face.

Saanjh: Mom, do you know what you are saying?

Jhanvi: Yes, I know. You consider her as your sister, right?

Saanjh: Yes, of course.

Jhanvi: It is the same sister who is backstabbing you.

Saanjh: Mom, I didn't get you.

Jhanvi: Twenty years ago, your dad had an EMF with his ex. Maya is her daughter.  I had adopted her as your dad was in his deathbed. I gave her the social identity, gave her the same love and education, thinking that she won't follow her mother's footsteps under my guidance. But I was wrong.

Saanjh: Leave that topic. The past is the past.

Jhanvi: Exactly, and history repeats itself.

Saanjh: Maya, come with me to the room.

Jhanvi: You go upstairs. My conversation with Maya is not complete. 

Saanjh goes upstairs reluctantly.

Jhanvi: What is your relationship with Arjun? Why did you do this? Where did I lack in my upbringing? Saanjh loves you as her sister & has always stood by you. Then why are you doing this to her?

Maya: Mom, I don't have any relationship with Arjun. I am in love with someone else. It is none other than Rajiv.

Jhanvi: I know you are lying. Don't call me, mom. You are not my blood.

Maya: I love Rajiv & have decided to move on with him. I can prove that to you.

Jhanvi: I know you both are good friends & you are using him to be in my good books. But remember one thing. I won't let you ruin Saanjh's life and happiness. I am your mom till Sajun's wedding, after which our path is separate.

Rajiv enters.

He said, "Yes, Maya is right. I have always loved Maya, but I could never express it to her. She approached me. I agreed to marry her after confirming with her."

Jhanvi: She has been sharing everything with you, right? How come you don't know about her relationship with Arjun?

Rajiv: Yes, I knew everything, but never expected anything from her. I heard your conversation with Maya. As per your condition, Maya will be in safe hands, so you don't feel guilty and regret your hatred for her. She is my responsibility.

Jhanvi: Fine, I am believing you as I trust you. Are you ready to marry Maya on Sajun's wedding day? 

Rajiv: Yes, we will marry on the same day. Maya, I will be back, till then you take care.

Rajiv leaves. Jhanvi goes to her room.

Maya recollects her childhood days with Jhanvi & Saanjh. The background song is

She goes to her room & cries. Saanjh comes there & comforts her.

Saanjh: Don't take mom's words to heart. Whatever it is, I will never leave you no matter what the world says. I think your mom is a wonderful woman. That's why I got a sister like you. I couldn't have got a better sibling than you.

Both hug each other emotionally.

Saanjh: Do you love Arjun? Tell me the truth.

Maya: No, sister. I don't like him.

Saanjh: You need not suppress your feelings. If you love Arjun, then he is yours. I am ready to sacrifice hundreds of Arjun for you. 

Maya: No, I don't like him. I have chosen my partner.

Saanjh: You need not sacrifice your love for me. By the way, who is he?

Maya: You know him. He is none other than Rajiv, my childhood friend.

Saanjh: Are you marrying him to sacrifice Arjun? I know that Rajiv is a great guy, and he loves you a lot. However, the question is whether you love him.

Maya: I have always considered him as my best friend, but I never realized my love for him. You are the best sister in the world, but you are a little dumb. How can I love two guys?

Saanjh: No wonder, that is why you were watching his shows and wasting my money till you stood on your feet. Don't worry; I will set everything right. I will convince my mom.

Maya: Rajiv also asked for my hand in marriage. Mom agreed that our marriages would be on the same date.

Saanjh: That's great. 

The next day, Rajiv comes to Maya's house.

Saanjh sees Rajiv & smiles. She said, "You have asked for Maya's hand & have not told me. "

Rajiv blushes

Saanjh: Do you love Maya?

Rajiv: I love Maya with all my heart, since my childhood. She is my inspiration. We have a transparent relationship.

Saanjh: That means you are a childhood lover boy, and you have kept that as a secret.

Rajiv blushes. He asked, "Where is Maya?" She had called me.

Saanjh: Maya got an emergency call from the office, so she went there. But she has left you the message to come in the evening.

Rajiv is happy.

Sharma Industries

Maya meets Arjun in his cabin. 

Arjun sees the report and said, "I know that you are very good at your work. But what have you thought about your marriage?"

Maya: You are a great guy, but I cannot marry you.

Arjun: Why?

Maya: As soon as I got to know that Saanjh loves you, I decided to step back as I don't want to hurt her and my mother. She asked me about my relationship with you and thought I am coming between you & Saanjh.

Arjun: My dad could not refuse Saanjh, so she assumed that my dad has agreed. You need to clear her misunderstanding.

Maya: But it is not possible as I don't want to break their heart. Saanjh loves you very much, and she will get shattered. 

Arjun: Saanjh is a great girl. But I don't have those feelings for her the way I feel for you.

Maya: I am not forcing you to marry Saanjh, but I can't do anything in this regard.

Arjun: What about my feelings for you? Don't you have any place for me in your heart? Is mom & Saanjh everything to you?

Maya: I understand your feelings, but my mom & sister means a lot to me. Mom wants Saanjh to marry you. 

Arjun: Why do you think like that? She is also your mother & she loves both of you equally.  She will be equally happy with our marriage.

Maya: She is not my biological mother, but she has done a lot for me and made many sacrifices. Saanjh is also ready to sacrifice her love for me if she gets to know about our relationship. 

Arjun: Then what is the problem?

Maya: I need to repay them for what she did for me. Please try to understand my problem.

She leaves.

Rajiv is getting ready for the shoot. His servant goes to Rajiv & said, "Maya has come to your house."

Rajiv: I am coming.

Maya waits for him.

Rajiv meets Maya.
