Cinderella dress
As they exited the airport, the warm sunlight and gentle breeze enveloped them. The group made their way to the taxi stand, where they hailed a few cabs to take them to their hotel. Khushi's excitement was palpable as she bounced into the taxi, her eyes shining with anticipation.
The drive was about an hour long, and Khushi spent most of it gazing out the window, taking in the sights and sounds of the new city. She marveled at the towering skyscrapers, the bustling streets, and the vibrant markets. As they drove, the scenery outside changed from bustling streets to more tranquil surroundings. The hotel was located in a picturesque area, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene lake.
When they arrived at the hotel, Khushi's eyes widened in amazement. "Wow, Ma, look! The hotel is so beautiful!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with excitement.
Nalini smiled, happy to see Khushi's enthusiasm. "Yes, beta, it is lovely. Let's go inside and check-in."
As they entered the hotel lobby, Khushi's jaw dropped in awe. The elegant decor, the sparkling chandelier, and the plush carpet all combined to create a sense of luxury and wonder. She felt like she had entered a fairy tale.
Arnav, who was walking alongside her, grinned. "Pretty cool, huh?" he whispered, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Khushi nodded enthusiastically, still taking in the sights and sounds of the hotel. But Kashish's voice cut through the magic, bringing Khushi back down to earth.
Kashish's tone was sharp and critical. "Khushi. Behave yourself."
Kashish's words brought a sting of embarrassment to little Khushi. She looked up at Kashish, feeling a bit deflated. "What do you mean, Kashish? I'm not doing anything wrong."
Kashish raised an eyebrow, her expression disapproving. "You're staring at everyone and everything like an alien. Just be normal, okay?"
Khushi felt a pang of hurt, but Arnav intervened before she could respond. "Hey, Kashish, come on. Don't be so hard on Khushi. She's just excited to be here."
Kashish rolled her eyes, her expression unyielding. "You're always taking her side, Arnav."
Arnav shrugged, his expression calm. "She is younger than us, so we need to support her. Not taunt her like this."
The tension between Kashish and Arnav was palpable, but Khushi felt a surge of gratitude towards Arnav. She smiled up at him, feeling a sense of comfort in his presence.
As they entered the hotel, the staff greeted them warmly and efficiently checked them in. Khushi forgot the littletle argument earlier and started shouting "Ma, Ma, can we go to our room now? I want to see what it looks like!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with eagerness.
Nalini smiled and took Khushi's hand. "Of course, beta. Let's go."
The elevators opened up on the fifth floor, and the group made their way to their rooms. Khushi's eyes widened as she took in the modern decor and comfortable furnishings.
"Wow, Ma, this is amazing! Our room is so big and nice!" she exclaimed, racing around the room to explore every nook and corner.
Kashish rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Yes, Khushi, it's very nice. Now can you just stop your bak bak and just relax for a bit?"
Khushi nodded with a sad face. After a relaxing day at the hotel, the group was rejuvenated and ready for their next adventure. The next morning, they set off for Disneyland, eager to experience the magic of the iconic theme park.
Khushi's excitement was palpable as they walked through the gates. "Disneyland! We're finally here!" she squealed, bouncing up and down with anticipation.
Arnav grinned, happy to share in Khushi's enthusiasm. "Let's go make some magical memories!"
The next morning, Khushi woke up early, feeling refreshed and excited. She had been counting down the days until their Disneyland adventure, and the moment had finally arrived!
She jumped out of bed and ran to the window, pulling back the curtains to reveal a bright and sunny day. "Ma, Ma, wake up! Today's the day! We're going to Disneyland!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with excitement.
Nalini smiled and sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Good morning, beta! Yes, today's the day. Let's get ready and have some breakfast."
The group quickly got dressed and headed down to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Khushi could barely contain her excitement, bouncing up and down in her seat as she ate her breakfast.
Arnav chuckled and teased her, "Hey, Khushi, slow down! You're going to wear yourself out before we even get to Disneyland."
Khushi just grinned and kept eating, her eyes shining with excitement. She couldn't wait to experience the magic of Disneyland.
After breakfast, the group set off for Disneyland, eager to start their day of adventure and fun. As they walked through the gates of Disneyland, Khushi's eyes widened in wonder.
She had never seen so many colorful buildings and characters in one place. The group made their way down Main Street USA, taking in the sights and sounds of the park.
Khushi's excitement grew with every step, and she bounced up and down like a rubber ball. Suddenly, she let out a squeal of delight.
"Mickey Mouse! Oh my gosh, Ma, it's Mickey Mouse!" she exclaimed, tugging on Nalini's hand. Nalini smiled and led Khushi over to where Mickey was standing, waving at guests.
Khushi's eyes shone with excitement as she hugged Mickey's legs. "I love you, Mickey!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with joy.
Mickey chuckled and patted Khushi on the head, posing for a photo with her. Khushi beamed with happiness, feeling like she was on top of the world.
Arnav chuckled and snapped a photo of Khushi with Mickey. "I think someone's a little excited," he teased.
Khushi grinned, still clinging to Mickey's legs. "I love Mickey Mouse! He's the best!" she exclaimed.
Next, they met Minnie Mouse, and Khushi was over the moon. She hugged Minnie and twirled around, laughing with joy.
As they walked through the park, Khushi's eyes landed on a store selling Disney princess dresses. She let out a squeal of delight and tugged on Nalini's hand.
"Ma, Ma, look! Cinderella dresses! Can I please, please, please get one?" Khushi begged, her eyes shining with excitement.
Khushi's eyes scanned the rack, and she finally settled on a beautiful blue ball gown. "This one, Ma! The one with the sparkles!" she exclaimed.
Raj, who was standing nearby, chuckled. "You already have 4 such dresses."
Nalini smiled and nodded. "Yes, beta. And they will become small soon."
Khushi's face fell, but she pleaded with her parents, "But Ma, please? I'll be the best girl ever! I'll eat all my veggies and do all my homework!"
Kashish rolled her eyes. "Khushi, stop being so dramatic. We're not getting you the dress."
As they left the store with the dress, Khushi couldn't stop looking back at the dress again and again. Arnav goes to his father and gets the dress secretly. He couldn't wait to see the look on her face when he surprised her with the dress. Addition to this he got her the glass slippers too.
As they continued on their way, Khushi was still looking a bit down. But little did she know, Arnav had a surprise in store for her that would change her day completely. In some time she was back to her jumping mode. They had lot of fun and return to hotel room.Khushi again remembers the dress. "Ma, I wouldn't ask new dress on my birthday if you had got me Cinderella dress."
Kashish gets annoyed "We are back, so stop telling same thing again and again."
Khushi looked down, still thinking about the Cinderella dress. Nalini tried to reassure her, "Beta, we'll get you another dress, okay?"
But Khushi just shook her head. "No, Ma, I wanted that Cinderella dress."
Kashish snapped, "Khushi, stop going on and on about the dress! We're back at the hotel, can we please just drop it?"
Just then, Arnav burst into the hotel room, a big smile on his face. "Hey, Khushi! I've got a surprise for you!" he exclaimed.
Khushi's eyes lit up with excitement. "What is it, Arnav?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
Arnav's parents, Arvind and Ratna, walked in behind him, carrying a big bag. Arnav took the bag from them and pulled out the Cinderella dress and glass slippers that Khushi had been dreaming of.
Khushi's eyes widened in shock and delight. "Oh my gosh! The Cinderella dress! Arnav, how did you...?" she trailed off, her voice trembling with excitement. "And glass slippers!"
Arnav grinned. "I knew how much you wanted it, so I asked Papa to get it for you."
Khushi squealed with delight and threw her arms around Arnav. "Thank you, Arnav! You're the best!" she exclaimed, hugging him tightly.
Nalini and Raj smiled at each other, happy to see Khushi so happy. "Arnav, that's so sweet of you," Nalini said, thanking him. "But she already has four Cinderella dresses."
Kashish, however, looked on with a mixture of surprise and annoyance. "Khushi is very greedy at times," she said, annoyed with her little sister.
Ratna lifted the little Khushi into her arms. "We just like our own little Cinderella to get all dressed up," she said with a warm smile, twirling Khushi around to admire the dress.
Khushi giggled and hugged Ratna, feeling like a real-life princess. Arnav grinned, happy to see Khushi so happy.
Arnav teased her, "Hey, Cinderella, you're going to have to be careful not to lose your shoe."
Khushi giggled and playfully hit Arnav on the arm. "Shut up, Arnav!"
Arnav chuckled and held up his hands in mock defense. "Okay, okay, I'll stop teasing you, Your Highness."
Khushi grinned, still looking delighted with her surprise gifts. "I'm going to try on my dress and shoes now," she announced, already heading towards the dressing area.
Nalini smiled and followed Khushi to help her get dressed. "We'll take some photos of you in your new dress, beta," she said.
As Khushi emerged from the dressing area, she looked like a real-life Cinderella. The dress fit her perfectly, and the glass slippers sparkled on her feet.
Arvind, Arnav's father, smiled and asked, "So Khushi, who will be your Prince Charming?"
Khushi giggled and looked at Arnav, who was standing next to her. "Arnav, you have to be my Prince Charming!" she exclaimed.
Arnav grinned and bowed down, pretending to be a prince. "At your service, Cinderella," he said, making Khushi giggle even more.
Nalini and Raj smiled at each other, happy to see their children having so much fun. Arvind and Ratna, Arnav's parents, also joined in the laughter.
Ratna suggested, "Let's take some family photos with Khushi in her Cinderella dress. It'll be a lovely memory."
Nalini nodded in agreement. "That's a great idea. Let's get everyone together for a photo shoot."
Khushi was beyond excited as she struck pose after pose in front of the camera. She twirled around, her Cinderella dress fluttering around her, and giggled with glee.
Arnav pretended to be her Prince Charming, and they posed together, looking like a fairytale couple.
At one point, Khushi got a bit carried away and started spinning around in circles, her dress flying out around her. Everyone burst out laughing at the sight.
"Khushi, slow down! You're going to get dizzy!" Nalini exclaimed, laughing.
Khushi giggled and stopped spinning, her cheeks flushed with excitement. "Sorry, Ma! I just can't help it! I feel like a real princess!"
