Chapter 2
Chapter 2
Her eyes almost fell out of her sockets. What was that girl wearing? Her eyes scanned the object in Randhir's arms. Mini skirt and tank top. Mini would be an understatement. Micro-mini would be better. And tank top! Topless would have felt ashamed in front of that. Who the hell let this walking adult film enter FITE.
Sanyukta glanced at her clothes. Simple and sober, a kurti and leggings, so DECENT. Well that wasn't really the concern. The matter of importance that he still held her in his arms. Ya, so!? So what? She thought to herself. Its not like I care, he can go around catching s**ts like her for all she cared.
She turned to walk away, but then had a better idea. She walked towards them and deliberately stepped on his foot.
Ouch! You!' he screamt and the object of everyone's attention fell to the floor.
Exactly where she deserves to be' Sanyukta thought giggling to herself, as she walked past a glaring Randhir, nursing his foot.
She glanced back once to check if he was still around, but to her great surprise yet satisfaction he wasn't and some random guy was helping her up. She sniggered and walked down the corridor.
She went to the canteen where Kaustuki, Jiggy, Yoyo and Parth were waiting for her at a table.
Sanyu! What happened? Why are you smiling so much?' Kaustuki asked her radiant friend.
Are you and Randhir getting married?' Parth joked.
The half of the samosa almost fell out of her mouth, while the other half almost choked her.
She started coughing and Parth rushed to calm her, offering her water. She took the glass, her eyes watering as she gulped it down.
Relax, Sanyu!' Kaustuki said.
Are you alright?' Parth asked her concerned.
She nodded.
The thought of marrying Randhir Singh Shekhawat was a bit too much. For someone who could barely stand the idea of talking to that guy. The idea seemed absurd. Although she had no reason to choke
Did you bump your head against the wall parth?' she said.
Parth grinned at that and said, Why else do you look so happy?'
Is there a rule that I can't smile just?' she said tilting her chin in the air with a huff.
Parth shook his head smiling.
Did you see that new chick in college?' YoYo asked. Sanyukta rolled her eyes as Parth took his seat back.
She's a s**t.' Sanyukta announced casually and then wished she hadn't said that aloud, as all eyes at the table turned to her.
What?' She said avoiding their gaze. Did you even see what she was wearing?'
Ya that was all that thing was about. It had nothing to do with that Randhir saved her exactly as he saves her.
Omg! That boy is invading the privacy of my thoughts too! Not a moment of peace.
I won't think about him' she made up her mind.
Well resolutions are made to falter. So this was nothing new as Randhir Singh Shekhwat walked right into the canteen then.
No!' Sanyukta mentally groaned.
Listen farzis Vardhan Sir's called all of you'll to his office.' He announced.
Why?' Sanyukta asked.
Do you think I'm his personal assistant' Randhir commented sarcastically.
What the hell? You don't have to be so rude' Sanyukta said standing up.
Rude? Its not like we discuss love poems every day' he said.
Love poems? You think you're William Shakespeare or something?' Sanyukta bantered back.
Randhir Singh Shekhawat will do for now.' He said and walked off.
What was that?' parth asked. Sanyukta huffed picked her bag and followed after him. Come to the office you people' she screamt before leaving the canteen
Woah! Whats with Sanyukta?' Jiggy asked.
The Usual stuff, Randhir-Sanyukta thing' kaustuki said.
Sanyukta clutched her bag tightly to her side as she called after him,
randhir! Wait!'. She didn't watch where she was heading yet again and slipped on a banana peel which some idiot had thrown around.
Ow!' she screamt and landed on her but, twisting her ankle.
Randhir stopped and turned to find Sanyukta grimacing with pain. He rolled his eyes and walked over to her.
What the hell? Can't you watch where you;re going?' he asked.
Ahhahaaa' she cried in response.
Without another word, he scooped her into his arms.
Their eyes met. Her heart skipped a beat. It seemed all the electric fans were directed towards them, as her hair flew, or so she imagined. O! God! What's happening to me?' she thought as her heart rate escalated.
What's happening here?' a deep familiar voice resounded.
Both of their eyes turned at the same second to catch a glimpse of Vardhan Sir standing at the end of the hallway, arms crossed.
Your reaction
