Chapter 5

Asad "Do you... like a gentle man like Zaroon? Or a cool guy like Matthew?"

Zoya "Excuse me."

Zoya (He is just staring at my face.)

Asad "Don't misunderstand me."

Asad "The reason I've asked is I don't want any frantic love stuff undermining the discipline of the ship."

Saying so, Asad lets Zoya go and walks away from there.

The party is going on in full swing.

Captain Jack Sparrow "To Arjun, Happy Birthday! Cheers!"

Everyone "Cheers!"

Arjun "Zoya, umm... thank you for the cake."

Captain Jack Sparrow "Zoya, I heard ya worked hard."

Haider "She does. Her cooking and cleaning are first-class!"

Captain Jack Sparrow "Aren't we glad we didn't feed her to the sharks?"

Zaroon "Right, and didn't I object."

Zoya (Asad has been polishing his gun all this time. He's got no interest in what they are saying about me.)

Arjun "Isn't it nice ya got a little girlfriend, Asad!"

Asad "Who wants this puny thing as a girlfriend?"

Haider "Asad likes a sexy woman, don't ya?"

Zoya (Am I that unattractive?)

Asad "I don't like any type of woman."

Zaroon "His only love is that gun. He never lets anyone touch it."

Arjun "It is kinda funny that he's a gun maniac being an elite who went to a high class school."

Zoya (Whoa... Asad's from elite class. But why did he become a pirate?)

Asad "...Be quiet, Arjun."

Arjun "It is not likely that you will have a lover ever... so just chill."

The party livened up and everyone enjoyed themselves while Zoya just stood in a corner. After some time Asad walked up to her.

Asad "Sorry about that before."

Zoya "Eh?"

Asad "I shouldn't have been so blunt."

Zoya "It's okay."

Asad "You are really smooth. Or maybe just simple headed."

Zaroon "Zoya, are you ok? Is Asad bullying you?"

Zoya "Not exactly."

Zoya (Oh no. Asad is glaring at me.)

Asad "I don't know how to talk to kids like you do, doc."

Zaroon "Zoya is surely not a kid and you very well know how to talk to anyone."

Asad "That's my nature."

Zaroon "Alright then I'll let to act the way you want to."

Zaroon walked away with a smile.

Zoya (I want to know the real Asad.)

Zoya "Er.. Asad, you don't want to have a girlfriend?"

Asad "Is your question worth answering?"

Zoya "Just saying because you are smart and I don't think girls leave you alone."

Asad "Ya dumb?"

Zoya "What?"

Asad "Your mind is like a beautiful garden, isn't it?"

Zoya (I knew it... I shouldn't have said anything.)

Asad "I am not interested in those things."

Zoya "Those things, you mean love? Why aren't you interested?"

Asad "Mind your own business."

Zoya (He is really unapproachable.)

Asad "What about you? Wasn't there a man who didn't mind dating a little girl like you?"

Zoya "If you work at the bar, sometimes they tried to talk to me, but..."

Asad "You're not really sexy."

Zoya (He doesn't have to rub that in repeatedly.)

Zoya "But, I wanna be in love with someone sometime."

Asad "You are a virgin, aren't you?"

Zoya "What?"

Asad "What you said is a romantic dream of a little princess."

Zoya "Hmm..."

Zoya is walking on the back side of the deck.

Zoya "The party is not going to be over anytime soon."

Zoya looks at the moon which she found exceptionally beautiful tonight.

Zoya (Everyone in the orphanage must be looking at the same moon now.)

Zoya (They must be worried about me...)

Zoya "I wanna go home."

Saying so, Zoya starts crying.

Zoya (I wonder how far we have come.)

She suddenly notices the corner of the deck.

Zoya "A small boat?"

Zoya (I might be able to row the boat and go home.)

Zoya started approaching the boat when she heard footsteps.

Asad "What are you going?"

Zoya (Asad!)

Zoya "Nothing."

Asad "You're lying."

Asad grabbed Zoya's arm and pulled her towards him.

Asad "Are you crying?"

Zoya "No."

Asad "Your nose is so red like a little brat."

Zoya "It's you.. always calling me a kid, puny thing and stuff like that."

Zoya (Oh no... all the feelings I was holding back are bursting out.)

Zoya "I am scared, lonely and afraid."

Asad gently puts his hand on Zoya's shoulder.

Asad "Zoya."

Zoya suddenly hugs Asad who is first startled but later consoles her by patting her head. After some time, there is a sudden noise and they pull away.

Zoya (This is embarrassing.)

Asad looks at the sea.

Asad "It's the Dutchman."

Zoya and Asad join the remaining crew as a ship stops besides them and a pirate comes on their ship who Zoya assumes to be captain.

Captain Jack Sparrow "Tom!"

Captain Tom "My lovely lads, Sirius!"

Captain Tom "Oh, you've got a cutie."

Matthew "You stop storming onto our ship."

Captain Tom "I just came to see Jack."

Captain Jack Sparrow "Captain... Captain Jack Sparrow."

Captain Tom "So how is the king of pirates today?"

Zoya (He is talking to the captain like a friend.)

Zoya "Haider, who are this guy?"

Haider "They are kinda our rival, so to speak. But our captain and Tom know each from a long time."

Zoya "Oh!"

Captain Jack Sparrow "What brings you here to me?"

Captain Tom "Riya has been harassing me to take her to the guy with two swords."

A girl looking totally like a pirate jumps into their ship.

Riya "Arjun! Arjun, sweetheart!"

Zoya "Sweetheart?"

Haider "Arjun and Riya love each other since they were kids but their parents were hardcore rival pirates."

Zoya (I didn't think a guy like Arjun could be in love.)

Haider "Arjun respects his family name a lot and thus stays away from Riya. Riya though never gives up on him and keeps insisting that they stay together."

Riya "Arjun, Happy Birthday."

Zoya (Arjun is trying to ignore her but it is clear that it is hard for him.)

Matthew "Riya, just leave."

Arjun "Don't talk to her like that."

Zoya (Arjun has lost his temper. It is clearly at himself than Matthew.)

Suddenly the two start fighting and Riya joins in making Zaroon and Haider rush to separate them.

Zoya (It is the perfect time to give them a slip.)

Zoya moves towards the small boat and tries to untie it.

Zoya (This is really difficult to untie.)

Asad "Do you really think that you can untie the rope?"

Zoya (Oh no! Asad caught me.)

Zoya "I was just taking a stroll in the cool breeze. It's nothing like what you are thinking."

Asad unties the rope from the pole.

Zoya (What is he upto?)

Asad "Go and go towards East."

Zoya "Huh?"

Asad "Your town is towards the East. You have got water, food and a compass on the boat."

Zoya "Why are you letting my off the hook?"

Asad "I don't want kids hanging around the ship."

Zoya "Thank you."

Asad "Take this."

Zoya (His gun...)

Asad "Shoot when you see a shark coming."

Zoya "Isn't this very important to you?"

Asad "Go now or I'll shoot you."

Asad throws the boat into the water and forcibly gives the gun to Zoya.

Asad "Be very careful. Avoid big waves."

Zoya strides over to the edge of the ship and grabs the rope ladder.

Zoya "Asad... this really means a lot."

Asad "Don't die, Zoya."
