Chapter 4

Captain Jack Sparrow "Oh my... oh my ship... my Black Pearl'."

Zoya "Captain is everything ok?"

Zoya (He has tears in his eyes.)

Captain Jack Sparrow "My ship is so clean."

Zoya (Is he upset with me?)

Zoya "I am sorry."

Captain Jack Sparrow "It looks so beautiful."

Zoya (He is happy now.)

Captain Jack Sparrow "I made the right decision in letting you stay, kid."

Zoya "Kid? I have a name."

Captain Jack Sparrow "We have a party tonight. You should go help Matthew in the kitchen."

Zoya "Party?"

Asad "It is Arjun's birthday today."

Zoya "Ok... I'll go help."

Zoya "Whoa! What a lot of food!"

Zoya (There are piles of vegetables and meet.)

Matthew "Can ya use a knife?"

Zoya "You mean a cooking knife, right?"

Matthew "What else would I mean?"

Zoya "Right! What can I do?"

Matthew "Hmph... here..."

Zoya "Potatoes! Ok!"

Matthew "And don't get into my way."

Zoya nods and gets to work quietly trying not to bother Matthew.

After a while, as Zoya is moving towards the other side she bumps into Matthew.

Zoya (He looks furious. He told me not to get in his way.)

Zoya "I did not mean to do that. I mean I meant to go to the other side but didn't mean to bump into you. I mean err..."

Matthew "...Heh.."

Zoya (He is laughing. I didn't think he had the ability to do so.)

Haider "Oh, this is new."

Matthew "Haider, what do you want?"

Haider "I came to just get some water."

Zoya hands Haider a glass of water and Haider smiles at her.

Haider "I don't remember if I've ever seen Matthew smile."

Matthew "Shut up. Drink your water and leave quickly."

Haider "Oh, Zoya. Tell me if ya need any help."

Zoya "Sure, Haider."

Zoya (Haider's been really kind. This makes me feel good in these kinds of circumstances.)

Zoya "I really appreciate it."

Haider "We may be pirates but we are not bad people. Just a little rough."

Haider leaves and the atmosphere gets tense again.

Matthew "Not bad."

Zoya (He is looking at my work.)

Zoya "What about cake?"

Matthew "Cake?"

Zoya "It's Arjun's birthday. Isn't a cake must for the party."

Matthew "We never make cakes."

Zoya "I do and I shall make one somehow. I just hope you have the ingredients."

Matthew "You can find anything you want in my kitchen. But there is no proper vessel for the cake."

Zoya "That can be managed."

Matthew "You are a weird kid."

Zoya (Kid... they call me a kid. Am I really a kid to them?)

Zoya makes the cake and helps Matthew too in his cooking.

Matthew "We'll be done sooner than I thought cause ya helped."

Zoya "You are a great cook. Where did you learn to cook?"

Matthew "Can't ya be a little quieter?"

Zoya (People here don't want to talk about themselves.)

The ship sways a little and Zoya falls on her butt.

Zoya "Whoa!"

Matthew "Hey, ya ok?"

Zoya "Yes. My butt's pretty tough..."

Matthew "Not your butt... ya got a finger cut."

Zoya (Oh, it's just a little knife cut on the tip of my finger.)

The kitchen door opens and closes with a bam.

Asad "What's going on here?"

Zoya "Oh, Asad."

Asad "What are on doing on the floor?"

Zoya "I slipped."

Zoya (He is offering his hand.)

Asad "You better learn to balance yourself."

Zoya gets up with Asad's help.

Matthew "You should see the doc as of now."

Zoya "It's nothing. I'll just lick..."

Matthew "You're not a cave man."

Zoya "But this is only a..."

Matthew "Just go."

Zoya (Matthew looks kinda unfriendly, but he really is a worrywart.)

Asad "What happened to you?"

Matthew points towards her finger and Asad grabs it.

Zoya "It's so small. I think I don't have to..."

Asad "Come with me. It may lead to infection."

Asad takes Zoya to Zaroon's cabin.

Zaroon "Hello, Zoya."

Asad "Doc, she has a cut on her finger."

Zaroon "Let me look at it."

Asad brings Zoya's finger in front of Zaroon.

Zoya "It's a very little one."

Zaroon "Well, you should be careful. You are at sea. A small thing could lead to something huge anytime."

Asad "That would be hard for someone like her who is so clumsy."

Zoya (Seems like for Asad I'm nothing but an obstacle...)

Zaroon applies medicine on the cut and puts a bandage on the finger.

Zoya "Thank you doc for this as well as the clothes."

Zaroon "I am glad that I could help. My sister is tomboyish so I just these tees and shorts."

Zoya "This is just perfect and it's easy to work around in these."

Zaroon "It's fortunate that you both are of the same built."

Asad "You better finish off your work now, Zoya."

Zoya "Yes."

After Zoya is done with her work she goes to Asad's room and knocks on the door.

Zoya (Isn't Asad here?)

Zoya knocks again but gets no answer, so she enters the room.

Zoya (A bare chest!)

Asad "You..."

Zoya (He has six packs. Wow! He is really fit.)

Asad "Don't you have any shame?"

Zoya instantly covers hers eyes and Asad puts on a shirt.

Asad "You shouldn't barge into the room like that."

Zoya "I knocked!"

Asad "How many times did you knock?"

Zoya "Twice..."

Asad "You knock less than three times between lovers, husband and wife and people like that."

Zoya "I don't have any profound knowledge about knocking."

Asad "It's common sense to knock at least four times otherwise."

Zoya "Yes."

Asad "Why do you have your eyes covered?"

Zoya "You... you are shirtless."

Asad "Not anymore."

Zoya slightly peeps through her fingers to make sure and then opens her eyes.

Asad "You are hilarious."

The ship sways with a force and Zoya slips again. She tries to garb Asad to get balance but falls on the floor pulling Asad along with her.

Asad "Perfect... This is just perfect."

Zoya "I... I..."

Asad "Don't say a word."

Asad gets up and helps Zoya after that.

Asad "Listen, I don't want you creating any more problems else I'll throw you into the sea."

Zoya "I am trying..."

Asad "You better try harder else..."

Zoya (He is showing his gun now.)

Asad "Understood?"

Zoya "Yes!"

The ship sways again and Zoya manages to maintain the balance this time.

Asad "Get changed quickly. Your clothes are dirty. You can wear them again tomorrow will working."

Zoya "Ok."

Asad "Better not take so much time. The party is about to start."

Zoya (He is so frightening.)

Asad leaves the room giving one last look to Zoya.

Zoya after changing her clothes walks towards the deck and bumps into Asad on the way.

Asad "Can't you see where you are going?"

Zoya "You came out of nowhere."

Asad "I came looking for you. The party has begun."

Zoya tries to walk towards the deck when Asad grabs Zoya by the waist abruptly.

Zoya "What?"

Asad "Do you... like a gentle man like Zaroon? Or a cool guy like Matthew?"
