CHAPTER 3: Tum Mile

A week later

ICE CAF, NEW DELHI, 6 pm.

There were two people having coffee. Actually coffee cups were just lying on the table while the people were busy in each other.

Girl: Haye my Blushy Rajkumar, stop blushing. Save some for me. I should be blushing you know?

Saying she winked.

Boy(blushed): Oh my tigress, I am not blushing. And don't even try blushing. You are better being tigress than these blushing girls.

Girl: Akash?

Akash: What I am saying the truth La. I fell in love with this Tigress mixed with lioness. Not the one who blushes like crazy.

La: Yeah yeah. And I fell for this Blushing Rajkumar. My spec nose Akash Walia.

She said pinching his nose.

Akash: and I fell for this tomboy Lavanya Kashyap.

Saying he winked his eyes which were behind his half frame specs.

GUYS, THIS IS TOO MUCH. YOU COME TO COFFEE SHOP AND LEAVE BICHARA COFFEE AND START DROWNING IN YOURSEL? NOT FAIR.

Came a chirpy voice.

They both turned and Lavanya's face immediately lit up.

La: Hey Khushi.

She waved and Khushi waved back.

Akash was just seeing both the women.

Khushi(Winking): So La, having romantic time?

La: Stop it now. You have been doing this for more than a week now. Why torturing yaar?

Khushi: Kitna bhi torture karun, aap sharmate kahan? Dekhiye aapke shaadi mein Dulhan se zyada dulha sharmayega(How much ever I torture, you are not gonna blush. Just wait n watch. In your marriage more than bride the groom will be blushing).

La: Shut up Khushi. Akash help me.

Akash: Huh, don't involve me In this. I am not the one.

Khushi: Aha. That's my jeeju.

This went for somemore time. All were having their fun. That's when La asked Khushi

La: Khushi, tomorrow there is a cocktail party before our marriage. You are coming right?

Khushi(giving WHAT THE look): La, you know that I don't like all these. Moreover the party is in the other end of the city and my home is in the opposite end. Na baba na. I cant stay in such parties which are in the night. Amma and Bauji will kill me.

La: Oh come on Khushi Its my marriage yaar.

Khushi: I will come for that. But not party please.

Akash: Khushi, do one thing, just come and leave soon. Don't need to stay long. All your colleagues will be there. you can come in your scooty na.

La: That's right. you have your buddy scooty na.

Khushi: Ok. But not for long time han?

La n Akash: That's enough.

Lavanya was a girl from rich family but very calm and rooted family. She was sent to work in some office only for her learn the work and manners and gain some experience. Akash's family and her family were business friends. This friendship turned into a relation when the younger generation fell in love and decided to marry.

So that's the story of AKASH WALIA and LAVANYA KASHYAP, the soon to be couple.

Lavanya was a good friend of Khushi in office. She dint mind Khushi's middle class status unlike some other people. Lavanya and Khushi shared most of their secret.

That way Khushi came to know about Akash. She knew he was son of big business man. But what she dint know was about his cousin bother.

As soon as Lavanya introduced Akash to her, they become good friends. They knew their limits and lavanya trusted them. They were very genuine. That is like what a bond should be.

Khushi Lavanya and Akash chatted for some more time and left to their places. Akash dropped Lavanya while Khushi flew in her scooty.

Delhi International Airport,

THE BRITISH AIRWAYS LANDED IN DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FEW MINUTES AGO.

An announcement was made.

Driver Mohan was waiting near the Arrival gate. And there came his Mighty Boss, The ASR.

Arnav came out with his aviators followed by Aman.

Arnav(Walking): Mohan, Get another car and drop Aman in the MEHRA's. I will drive my car myself.

Mohan: Ji saab ji.

Arnav: Aman, You have the apartment keys right? get settled there, I will be in my Raizada house. Finish the formalities. Anything needed, inform me immediately. And tomorrow I don't want any disturbance. Tomorrow is the cocktail party and marriage is in two days. Hope you understand what I mean. NO DISTURBANCE. Now you can leave.

Aman nodded and left. Arnav sat in his White SUV and drove to Raizada Mansion which is a bit away from the main city.

Next day dawned. It was a Saturday. So Khushi had a day off.

She was sleeping happily tucking herself under the comforter dreaming about her Hawa mahal prince. But suddenly something landed on her shoulder. She winced and woke up to see her Amma glaring at her.

Garima: Khushi, How many time I told you not to sleep past 7 in morning?

Khushi(Pouting): Amma, its just 5 minutes past 7.

Garima: just wake up and freshen yourself. We are going to Mandir. Remember its Saturday today.

Khushi(sulking): Haan amma, I do.

Saying she went towards washroom to bath. She came out and saw her father reading newspaper in the dining table. She went and sat near him.

Khushi(Whispering): Bauji.

Sasi turned. Khushi raised her brow. Sasi raised his brow in reply. Khushi got angry and nudged him on his shoulder.

Sasi(Silently): What is it titaliya?

Khushi(Glaring): Party?

Sasi understood and nodded.

Sasi: Garima, do you know nowadays na people are just partying for each and everything.

Garima: Haan, and suddenly LAAD SAAB, why are you worrying about such things?

Garima coked her brow. Sasi gulped and continued as Khushi nudged him again.

Sasi: nothing, If it is for genuine reason like marriage means it is acceptable na.

Garima:SO?

Sasi: So why not we send Khushi to her friend's marriage cocktail party?

Garima gave him a FIRE look and was about to protest when Sasi planted a peck on her cheek soundly.

Sasi: Let her na

Garima: Ok let her.

Khushi squealed YEEEYYY and hugged both of them Aswin just rolled his eyes.

Garima just blushed seeing smirking sasi and ran into the kitchen.

EVENING, ROCKSTONE APARTMENT PARKING

Khushi was standing looking helplessly at her scooty which had one of its tyre punctured. She clutched her saree and started walking towards the exit calling her amma informing about her taking an auto.

Khushi reached the Venue which was a very big Hotel's Party hall. She was the only one who came there in Auto. She immediately rushed in brushing such thoughts as she was late. As soon as she entered, Lavanya's Mom, Mrs Kashyap came to her.

Mrs. Kashyap: Where were you Khushi? Lavanya said she wont reach here without you. She wants only to make her ready. Go straight and left 3 rd room. Vese Khushi bitiya, you are looking beautiful in that saree. Kisi ki nazar na lage" saying she put black dot behind her ears for which Khushi smiled and went to check lavanya.

Girls had a gala time with make up and atlast they came to the party hall. The announcement was made and all applauded for the couple. Then the dance floor was open. Khushi thought of leaving. As Non veg was also served she dint like to eat. She was searching for Lavanya to say that she is leaving when suddenly Akash took the mike and Announced.

Akash: Guys, put your hands together and welcome my Bro, ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA, whom you all know as THE ASR.

Khushi turned to the Party hall entrance door and was shocked. She couldn't believe her eyes. Her Prince was standing there in a black piece suit and perfectly gelled hair looking all Handsome like Greek god. Khushi couldn't just take her eyes of him. She kept on looking at him without realizing the place and surrounding. That's when she realized that He was standing right in front of her. Khushi gaped at him with her saucer sized eyes.

Guys this is the first time I am writing something in Hindi.. I know its not worth to be called as a Shayari. I just could not help. These lined came in my mind when i drafted this update.. pls Bear with it *PUPPY FACE*
