Chapter 8:

A day out

-will name the new collection: khushi!

Arnav said looking at her...

-oh no! no! that's silly and not creative at all!

-what?

She widened her eyes and he has no option but to smile...

-then tell me!

-will name it..."Rebellious"!

-Rebellious!

-hmm...the saree is a traditional outfit but in this collection, all the sarees are...different...not any woman would wear that...I mean...the woman who will wear such saree would be a modern woman, beautiful, confident and rebellious...

Khushi said all confident...

-done!

Arnav said amazed and khushi stands up...

-now, I have to go!

-but...where? There is no class today!

-I know but...today, I'm goanna meet NK and Mira!

Khushi said excited...

-finally, after so long!

She added

-actually, Mira is here in Delhi for a visit to her Mama and then we decided to meet...

-and what about NK?

-he will come too...of course!...we will have lunch together, will hung out and then will watch a movie!

-really?

Arnav tried to keep calm...whenever he heard about that boy...he felt bad...but he has no reason to stop her from going out with her friends...

-yes! really

-why don't you invite them for a lunch in the mansion?

-it will be a great idea and then you could join us!

-I will try

-please try your best! I want you to meet my friends!

-if this is what you want...I can take the day!

-really?...so, you could go out and watch a movie with us, too? Right?

-it will be great but maybe you want some space...I mean...with your friends...

-no...no...even they want to meet you but I said that you're a so busy husband!

Arnav gave her an irresistible smile and then:

-just one minute!

He said taking out his phone...

Arnav observed khushi as she hugged her friends tight...

Better than Raizada Mansion...

Arnav reserved a 5 stars hotel area to have a proper lunch outside and to have a wonderful view on a huge poolside, khushi tried to refuse but he insisted...

-hi, I'm Mira!

Arnav smiled and checks Mira's hand but his eyes are only on khushi...the way she smiled, it's melting his heart...

-happy to meet you Mira!

-thank you to receive us in such great place!

Mira couldn't believe being here...firstly, she comes with the driver of Mr. Raizada and in his private car which is a limousine...her and NK are welcomed very well...

Like in some of her dreams, she comes to this place to meet her best friend ever...

-you're welcome!

Mira couldn't wait so much before leaning on khushi and whispered on her ear:

-you didn't tell he's so much handsome!

Khushi's eyes widened and she blushed furiously...

-not now!

She whispered

-he has eyes only for you!

-ok...shut up, please...

Khushi side hugs her friend and she looked at the way her husband is still checking NK hand agressivly...it takes some time before he frees his hand and then khushi comes closer to them...

-that's great...I can't believe you're all here!

Khushi said all excited...

Arnav looks at her as she started talking about her studies and designs and at the way she's questioning them all about their life...

He doesn't want her to stop talking

He doesn't want her to stop smiling and laughing...

This was the first time he saw her like that...

Satisfied and pleased...

The lunch was perfect...

As she fed her friends the first bits from her plate...she fed him too...and he fed her...she was surprised but she smiles to him...

He felt that connection...that secret bond that a couple share...because even if she's with her friends, she doesn't forget his presence this time...

at the end of the day, NK left but Mira stays at RM...

Khushi invited her to spend the night with her...they have the dinner together in RM and decided to sleep in the guest room...

-wait! You only talked about how bad to live in here...that you're alone, that he doesn't care, that he has no heart...but don't you see the way he's looking at you!

-Mira...

-what Mira?

-he changed, we are working together, so, he couldn't ignore me anymore but...

-but?

-I want more!

-I want him to hug me tight and to say I love you which will never happen!

-are you sure that this will not happen?...because you didn't see the way he's looking at you...the way he's doing the impossible to push NK away from you!

-oh yes! yes!...try to remember the way he hold NK arm when he wanted to sit next to you in the movie theater...he's close to craziness when KN was about to take his sit next to you, crazy!

-oh yes! and his expression when you agreed to sleep here with me in this room and not in between his arms!

-are you crazy?...no! it was him who insisted to that I spend more time with you because you will travel so soon!

-but tonight he will miss your presence next to him in the bed that you're sharing together!

-you're the one all blind not to see very well what your husband have in his heart to you!

-OMG...of course, of course! How can I forget!..did you kiss him?

khushi beated her with the pillow but she was blushing furiosly...

Mira gave up and both giggled like crazy and then lay down on the bed again...

-ok...now leave all this and tell me about the lucky man ever!...the man who will have soon the honor to engaged with my best friend...

Mira blushed...

And the chit chat doesn't seem to end so soon...

Its 2 hours after midnight when Mira slept but khushi wasn't able to even close her eyes...all the talks about Arnav...

The day spent with him and her best friends was just amazing!

And now...it's her the one missing to be with him...

She stands up...and left the guest room...

She needs to see him even if it's sure that he slept...

She entered the bedroom discretely and stands right there at the door level...

She couldn't believe her eyes...

He's was there on the couch...he's up and he's working...

-khushi!

He stands up:

-come in!

-I just forget to bring something from here!

She lied...

-ok...then come in!

Khushi comes in and closes the door behind...

-I thought you slept!

-and I thought the same about you!

-your friend slept?

-yes!...and I have to go!

khushi was about to go...

-khushi...today was great!

-yes

-the movie was great!

-Anjeli told me you hate bollywood movies!

-but this one was so good!

-yes, it's just emotional...

-the bad part was when you cried!

Khushi looked at him surprised...

-it's because...they have to separate!...it's their destiny!

-it's so stupid!

-yes!...I refuse to let go of the ones I love!

-sometimes you can't control it all!

He said tensed

She felt an aggressive hold and then she finds herself right in between his arms...

-your friends are right: you're a drama queen!

His finger comes on her lips...

-shhh...that was a movie and the reality is so different...

That was deep...he's looking straight at her eyes and she closes her eyes not to get lost in his ...

-our life is not a fiction...I'm here and you're here!...look at me!

She opens her eyes...he holds her nape and she thought that something would happen (like a kiss)...he's so close that she could feel his warm breath all over her face...

-it's late and you should go back to sleep...Good night!
